Chapter 1 - The World That Once Betrayed

The class found themselves in a grand throne room made of ivory and gold. The banners flew with emblems unfamiliar to their world, but strangely nostalgic to Rein. The king stepped forward with open arms and declared: "Welcome, brave Heroes summoned from the other world! You have been chosen to save our land!" A cheer rose. Magic glowed in the hands of his classmates. Fire. Water. Lightning. Wind. Each possessed incredible powers. Except Rein. The orb of evaluation turned black in his hands. The King's smile faltered. His words turned cold. "Magicless. A defect." It was decided. Rein would be disposed of-again.
