Chapter 8:

About Scams

The Big Book of Penguins in a Cup

The number of times I get these is CRAZY ngl. Whether it be on light novel websites or even straight to the email I use for this stuff, it's just really funny to me. I really like replying overly sweet to them or even just sassing them into the sun.

An example I've gotten a while ago:
Comment: The concept of an immortal and a reincarnated friend bound by fate is absolutely intriguing. I’m really curious about how their bond will evolve across multiple lifetimes and what challenges they’ll face in each of their journeys. The idea of an unbreakable friendship through the ages is both heartwarming and emotional.

sleepy: eyyyyy thank you thank youu :D

Comment:  You’re very welcome! The concept is truly captivating, and I can already feel the emotional depth of their bond through the ages. It’s going to be amazing to see how their friendship evolves! By the way, I think this would make an incredible comic. As a commission artist, I’d love to help bring their journey to life visually. Let me know if you’re interested.

sleepy:  ahhh, thats very nice of you, hehe. unfortunately though, i do not have the money for commisioning artists as of right now, so im gonna have to pass on your offer 🫠🫠

And then I never received a reply, heck, I think my response was ignored since the first comment I put had a like on it from the commenter, and the second one didn't. like... *hics* I thought we had a bond *hics* *sniffles* /j

Another scam I got recently had emailed me under the name of a publishing company.... that happened to be terminated a few years ago for reasons unknown. So, that's really funny to me, I should emotionally manipulate my scammers into paying 50 bucks as friendship taxes.
