Chapter 4:

⚔️ Chapter 4 – Scarlett vs The Stranger #1

Reincarnated as the Prince of the Supreme Color: Chronicles of the Noir Kingdom

_“Lights may deceive... but fire never lies.”_
 🔙 Flashback – 6:00 p.m., The Bar
Before the roar. Before the first strike.
The atmosphere of the nameless bar, in southern Tenebrae, was already heavy. The record player spun like the thread of invisible tension. Glasses filled without enthusiasm. No one laughed. Everyone knew... something was coming.
Scarlett entered like a storm wrapped in silver. Her armor caught every light, as if the room itself trembled with her steps. Without a word, she stood before a kobold occupying her seat at the counter.
The kobold saw her... and fled.
The Scarlet Princess sat down. Arms on the table. Chin in fists. Almost pensive.
Then, the hooded figure at the back moved.
She sat beside her.
The tension became real.
Sharp dialogue. Mocking laughter. A bracelet that sent chills. An insult far too direct.
And BOOM—in a blink, the door exploded into splinters. Two figures shot out like comets: one in flames, the other wrapped in metallic shadow.
It begins...

💥 6:10 p.m., The Forgotten Street
They landed in dust and echoes.
The Forgotten Street, laced with windowless walls and stairways that led nowhere, was a cursed labyrinth. The towering walls trapped sound. The air pulsed with residual magic. Anyone who entered... could easily disappear.
The stranger laughed aloud:
—Is that all? Pretty lights and noise? I thought you invited me to dance, not watch fireworks.
Scarlett didn’t answer.
THOOM!She launched forward with such speed that the air burned. Her fist missed, but the shockwave shattered windows, burst lanterns, and stirred ancient dust from the ground.
Terrified citizens rushed out of their homes. Some escaped through side alleys. Others watched from behind curtains.
The stranger spun and countered. Rapid kicks, mid-air flips. Her silhouette moved like a metallic butterfly, swift and lethal. Scarlett stood her ground. Each impact shook walls, cracked rooftops, split porticos.
CRACK! BOOM! WHOOSH! The sounds were war music.
Then, the stranger removed her cloak.
She wore a shimmering blue-silver armor, heavy and gleaming, with a mystic rapier on her hip. No more smiles. No more jokes.
She attacked with precise punches, her moves honed by multiple fighting schools. Scarlett retreated—barely. She searched for rhythm. And she found it.
She feinted a weak step, threw a spinning kick, twisted—then...
ZSHHH!A thin red line appeared on her cheek. Blood.
Scarlett stepped back.  Her breath grew heavy. The air thickened. Her eyes flared like embers.
From a rooftop, a soldier whispered:
—Did the Scarlet Princess... retreat?
Scarlett heard him. She saw him.  She ignored him.
The stranger raised her rapier with her right hand and placed her left behind her back.
—Did you think this was a battle of endurance? Come on... show me your fire.
Scarlett roared.
She drew her sword. Clear Scarlet, steel red as magma.
Round two began.

 🕡 6:08 p.m. – The Queen’s Chamber
Knock knock knock.
The maid walked over and opened the door gently...
On the other side stood Dyor, the royal strategist. His smile sly, his gaze mischievous.
—Good evening, miss. May I speak with Her Majesty the Queen for a moment? It’s a matter of urgent importance —he said in a seductive tone.
She replied coldly, sharper than steel:
—Her Majesty is currently unavailable. She’s preparing for the ceremony.
She held the door. Tried to close it. But Dyor slipped the tip of his shoe between the frame and the floor, blocking it. He stared silently, grin growing. She glared back, waiting for him to leave.
Then, Nyxaria called out from inside:
—Liz, is something wrong? Who’s at the door?
As Liz turned to answer, Dyor shoved the door open, bursting into the room before she could speak.
The second maid, Diz, and Queen Nyxaria froze in shock.
Dyor entered slowly. Bowed politely—one hand on his chest, the other behind his back, torso slightly bent.
—Your Majesty, if you’ll allow me... and forgive the intrusion at this hour, but I must inform you His Majesty has departed westward—toward the Snow-Crested Peaks. He asked me to escort you tonight, as most officials are handling emergency operations. There are intruders in the kingdom... but rest assured, the captains are handling it.
The Queen, thoughtful yet unreadable, replied:
—Thank you for your report... but the Shadow Enforcers are assigned to protect me. Did you forget, Dyor?
—Sadly, I must report that the entire brigade departed with the King.
The maids exchanged glances.  Dyor’s words... didn’t quite add up.
The Enforcers never left the kingdom, except in world-scale emergencies. And they knew only two had gone with Zareth.
The Queen sighed.
—Then... we’re under your care.
The maids, uneasy, leaned closer:
—My Lady... you mustn’t trust that man —whispered Liz.
—My Queen... something about him feels wrong —added Diz.
But Nyxaria smiled gently, touching their hands.
—My dear girls... stay calm. Everything will be fine.  What could possibly go wrong?

 🕡 6:18 p.m. – Castle Corridors
The Queen and her maids, dressed for the banquet, descended the grand staircase with Dyor.
The palace corridors glowed with floating orbs and dancing candles. Walls were lined with lunar silk, garlands of fire essence, and banners of obsidian. The scent of roasted meats and spiced root sweets filled the halls with celebration.
As they reached the staircase near the garden, just before entering the grand hall... the maids shivered.
They turned to look at Dyor.
He smiled. A wide, unnatural grin that didn’t move.
And at the last step—
The corridor lights went out.
—Your Majesty, run! —the maids cried out together.
From the sides of the hall...  From the top of the stair...  From the entry behind them...
Hooded enforcers, clad in black armor and wolf-masked helmets, emerged like living shadows.
Behind them...
Dyor, smiling.  And with him... two hooded figures in worn cloaks.
The Queen...
Never reached the banquet.

🧠 6:30 p.m. – Forbidden Light
While the squads searched for the two vanished intruders, and Seth observed the bench-sitter with godlike patience, something changed in the sky.
Five lights emerged from five corners of the kingdom:
- 🔴 Red, in the west.  - 🟢 Green, in the east.  - ⚫ Black, in the central plaza.  - 🔵 Blue, in the north.  - 🟡 Gold, in the south.
They symbolized unity between the Five Kingdoms of Color.  The people, excited, lifted their eyes. Children laughed. Musicians played. The air shimmered with celebration...
But this time... it was false.
Only kings could activate those lights. And everyone knew—Zareth was gone.  No one knew the truth:
> Dyor had lit them.
He’d stolen the two hidden keys:
- One guarded in the Royal Sanctuary, normally watched by Enforcers... who had marched with the King today.- The other, hanging from the Queen’s neck, an ancestral necklace.
With both, Dyor activated the forbidden core in Tenebrae’s center.
A dark hue mixed with the colors.
Legend said that anyone who wasn’t a king and used that power would be possessed by a Supreme Anticolor Entity... live 200 years with incomprehensible power... then be reduced to ashes.

🧬 6:50 p.m. – The Beginning of What Was Before Being
In the central plaza, beneath the essence obelisk where the five lights blazed like cracked auroras, Dyor, eyes alight and grin cruel, whispered in an ancient tongue.
Citizens walked past, not understanding.
But his words… weren’t for them.
> “Five lights... five races... something is awakening.”  > “It is the beginning of what was... before being.”  > “Kronos has moved.”  > “The colorless world... has begun.”
Dyor lowered his gaze, shadow essence filling his eyes.  Threads of time grew taut.  Forbidden magic stirred.
Five lights... five races...  Something was awakening.
The curse had begun.

⛩️ Wrath of the Gods – Fragment of the Forbidden Legend
It is said that before mankind knew time, the realms were ruled by races that walked beside the primordial flame:
- The Colossals, mountain giants capable of molding volcanoes with their bare hands.  - The Umbrael, warriors of shadow who forged living shields and weapons that wept blood.  - The Nyxiel, children of eclipses, wise keepers of the eternal night.  - The Dark Elves of Nirvana, rulers of the infinite forest and guardians of whispered secrets.  - The Lucerians, archangels with crystal wings, tasked with maintaining cosmic balance.  - The Celestial Beasts, half chaos, half miracle, descended from the wind itself.  - The Neptunians, vampire lords of the deep ocean, guardians of the temples hidden within the world’s trenches.
But when the five lights shine without a king to summon them...
When Kronos moves without divine will...
When Dyor utters the forbidden tongue...
> _The world remembers what it tried to forget. And history returns… but this time, hungry._
