Chapter 0:

Prologue: The Night it Ended

I Was An Office Worker Till I Was The Hero!?

Hi there! I hope you're having a good day, afternoon or night! Whatever time it is that you are in! If you somehow are reading this journal then that means only one thing, that I've died. Please, don't grieve though, I am the type of guy who cries seeing others shed tears. The point of me writing in this journal is simple, to leave a message to the world that I was once part of it. I'm probably an old man by now, well as of writing this I feel like the hands of death are slowly reaching out for me but I don't believe I'm old just yet. Still, that is besides the point and I'm getting sidetracked. I want to say that as I mentioned earlier, I lived quite a long life and one that most never get to experience! What made my life so different you ask? Well dear reader of my journal, my life wasn't always set in this city called Shibuya, I once was thrust into another world straight out of a manga or anime! Please keep reading I swear I'm not saying this because I'm going senile or losing my mind to some disease! I'm being completely honest! When I was quite young, I experienced something mystical! I found myself transported from Japan to a fantasy city called Yonderdale. Here my story would truly begin and before I knew it, I was not a boring office worker anymore but a man who would be dubbed a hero. Now I wish for you dear reader to keep reading. Within these pages are my life and the best moments of it. Yes, it was terrifying and nothing like how I'd imagine it from the light novels I adored. There were monsters, evil beings, evil men/women and races straight out of the mind of a fantasy author! Yet, I would also meet others who wished to save their world and knew that their salvation somehow laid in my weak hands. I was a hero and I did have a party that joined me but trust me dear reader, my journey wasn't the typical one from fantasy tales. My story began with a flash of light and me finding myself in this world far away from all that I knew and loved. Now sit down, maybe grab a coffee and read my story. I promise it won't be boring...well I hope it wont be boring! My tale will start after another long boring shift at work in a job I truly loathed. Here we go...
