Fallen Stars

"The sky looks really, really bright tonight, right, Mio?"

Mio, a raccoon-like creature, looks at Jack, who is lying in the grass, holding his favourite wooden figurine, gazing up at the distant stars.

Mio walks over and nestles comfortably beside Jack’s leg. Gentle chittering noises...The night is silent and still.

Jack gently pets Mio’s head.

"I wonder what my parents look like."

Jack glances down at Mio, resting his head on him.

"Do you think they ever think about me? I can’t help but wonder..."

Mio jumps into Jack’s arms and playfully tries to grab his nose. Jack smiles.

"I love you, Mio."

The warm, smooth summer air brushes against Jack’s face.

"You know, Mio... I’ve had this feeling lately....like I’ve forgotten something really important to me."

Suddenly, a loud, thunderous noise echoes across the entire field.

Jack sees what looks like a star shooting past—so close it feels like it might crash into the ground. His eyes widen, catching the shimmer of the moment. He quickly sits up on his knees, eyes fixed on the sky.

“Mio, Mio… this is it… Let’s make a wish.”

Jack closes his eyes.

"I wish… to…"He begins to cry. "To stay in this moment forever… with you, Mio."

Jack feels a shiver to his spine like thunder has just struck him, Jack falls to the ground on his side Unconscious his eyes Turn Black and look like the sky his been looking at.
Mio tries his best to wake Jack but his not responding he even licks his face in a attempt to wake him up Mio stars Screaming and Crying.
Jack Heart Bits really hard, He Breaths Heavily his Body starts to Shiver.

Jack jolts awake with a gasp, lungs burning. His body convulses, his chest heaving.

"GHHHAAAAA GHHHAAAAAAAA"

His eyes are wide, brimming with tears—tears born from pain he doesn’t understand. He clutches his chest, wheezing, heart pounding like war drums. He blinks rapidly, his eyes became normal again.He drags himself up, legs shaking. Staggering toward his backpack, he grabs his water bottle and gulps desperately.

"GLUP GLUP GLUP"

"What... was that?"
His voice trembles.

"Who... was what...?"
A name surfaces in his mind—

"Amanda?"

He freezes.The name stings.

A sudden pain clenches his stomach. Jack doubles over. Warm liquid spills from his mouth.He lifts his hand—

Thick and red, trailing down his chin and soaking his fingers.

His breath falters.His vision wavers again.
