Chapter 7:

Surviving From Pure Evil

Kitezh the Invisible Phenomenon

“I’ve only met them yesterday. Frigyes is convulsing, as his whole face has turned dark blue. I can only imagine shattered bones shredded up his head from inside. Marigold is lying in silence. I can’t even tell if she is dead. And then there’s Lev, a large lion-human that claims to be another phenomenon.“

Kitezh had fallen into a trap, and thought she had successfully fought back and could rest like a wounded hero. The war did not end the way she wanted. She was forced back into combat with absolutely no support or equipment.

“I have been deceived again. This time, I had magical powers to fight against the very people that I despised. Yet somehow, they still managed to get the upper hand.”

Lev looked over the collapsed floor of the bastion.

“I doubt you can fight, but let’s make this easy. Don’t you dare make a move or holler,” said Lev.

Kitezh didn’t immediately comply. She touches the surface around her. First, her body began to vanish. Then, the ground started to clear up into a white color on the bastion’s stone floors. The sludge vomit of the swamp wolf began to vanish.

“Tch, I’m right next to you, and you can’t move at all. Your invisibility really is useless.”

Lev stepped in the sludge. He could feel the liquid, despite nothing appearing there.

“You were hoping I would accidentally poison myself? This stuff lost its potency to the touch. Plus, can’t you see my size? I could be poisoned right now, and could still trek all the way back to the Demon Lord’s realm,” mocked Lev.

“So, that’s where he’s taking me. The Demon Lord’s realm. He doesn’t want to kill me, so the Demon Lord must want something out of me. Is it my invisibility powers? Is it important to him?” questioned Kitezh in her mind.

Lev easily lifted up Kitezh like a rag, and slumped it over his shoulder like one.

SHANK!

“OOOOW! SHIT!”

A deep wound was dug into Lev’s neck. The blood seeped down into a conical shape.

Lev nudges Kitezh off his shoulder, and pulls out the object that caused the bleeding. He wiped it quickly, recognized the shape. It was actually one of the teeth of the Swamp Wolf. Kitezh has turned the vomit invisible, which covered one of the broken teeth of the wolf. She had picked it up without it being seen by Lev.

“I warned you, you god damn bitch!” Lev began to feel around Kitezh’s body. “Stupid invisible bitch.”

Lev tugged on something. It was Kitezh’s bra. He pulled down it slightly to uncover her cleavage. Although invisible, Kitezh has a startled look on her face as Lev stared at her chest.

“Now I know which part I’m holding. YAH!”

BAM!

CRACK!

“AAAH! STOP IT!” screamed Kitezh.

BAM!

CRACK!

“AAAH! STOP! STOOOOOOP!” Kitezh was wailing so much in pain that she began to choke up.

Lev looked at his brass knuckles, and laughed. He located Kitezh’s breasts to figure out where her arms were located. Both of Kitezh’s upper arms have their bones shattered from the inside. It was like several knives piercing inside of them now.

“I did not see that coming, seeing how you’re so weak. But now, I’m not taking my chances. You lost your arm privileges.”

Lev dug his hands into his underwear. He grabbed a small vial and flicked off the cap. He drank the contents of the vial. The bloody wound on Lev’s neck has sealed up completely. He patted his neck, and was ready to try again.

“It’s a good thing you’re invisible. If I knew how bad I fucked up your arms, I might’ve been merciful enough to give you a share of my healing potion. Though, I did go through the trouble of keeping them on me this whole time while everyone else dropped everything in the water.”

“Urp! Urp!” Kitezh was making weird gagging noises.

“Sorry, pleading like that ain’t gonna work on me,” said Lev, as he picked up Kitezh’s body. He held the invisible ragdoll in front of himself.

“Since I know you’ll be a good girl, I have an additional proposition.”

Lev’s eyes look more crazed than before. His large hand was trembling as it reached Kitezh’s chest. He pulled down Kitezh’s bra again, exposing her cleavage again.

“How about you let me strip off your bra, and don’t turn that invisible.”

Lev began to caress his hand behind her back to locate where it was clasped. His hand began to lower down her invisible body. He was groping Kitzh’s butt.

“You’ve still got your panties on. If I take that off, then your ass will be expo- hmph?!“

Something invisible was felt on Lev’s lips. He was being kissed. Or, was he?

“BLEEEEEEGH!”

“PWAH! HWEEEEGH!”

Lev and Kitezh were both suddenly spitting out something invisible. It was the one liquid that had this property. The toxic sludge vomit from the swamp wolf. Kitezh had drunk and kept the sludge in her mouth the whole time, and spat it all straight into Lev’s mouth.

“HWAAAAAAH!”

Suddenly, Lev began to vomit violently. Kitezh took the opportunity. She kicked Lev straight in the balls, and stumbled over, covering himself in his own vomit.

With Lev on the ground, now was Kitezh’s chance. She kicked at his groin area, but not to further his pain. She was pulling his underwear down. Several vials suddenly rolled out.

“Now you’ve done it! Two broken arms just weren’t enough to teach you.”

Kitezh got to her knees, and looked down at the vials. Before she could try one though, she began to feel sick herself. She couldn’t hold it in any longer. Kitezh vomited from the vile sensation of having the toxic sludge in her mouth, as well as flushing the memories of that sudden kiss that she reluctantly had to do. The vomit was covering her mouth, exposing her location. She needed the healing potion now.

She couldn’t feel her arms. She couldn’t close her hands. Kitezh had no choice but to grab a vial with her mouth. She spat it back out on the ground, hoping it would break, but there was no effect. Kitezh put her head down again to grab it, but she was suddenly pushed to the side.

“That mouth of yours caused this. I’ll deal with that first!” spat Lev. His face was covered in the sludge vomit, making him more of a disgusting monster.

Lev raised his fist. He knew exactly where to aim. The vomit on Kitezh’s mouth was the colored target. He launched his fist straight down.

BAM!

CRACK!

“AAAAH! GHK! GHK!” cried Kitezh

“Hahaha! Next, let me go for your legs, for kicking me in the balls!”

WHAM!

“OOOW!”

This time, it was Lev yelling in pain.

“Y-you kicked me there again?! Both of your legs are gonna-“

WHAM!

“Ow! What the hell?!”

Lev was now hit in the eye. It was like something punched him.

PLONK!

This time, something else hit him, but it wasn’t anything painful. It felt like a cap. Lev knew exactly what sort of cap struck him. He looked at the ground, and saw bits of shattered glass. They were all from one of his healing vials.

Lev picked up one of the pieces. He could see it shine with residue on one side, but it was completely invisible on the other. Kitezh had obviously turned the vial invisible on the outside.

Lev looked around. He wasn’t sure how or when did he break a vial. Lev suddenly remembered.

“I was punched in the eye. It was definitely Kitezh. However, I broke both of her arms. Wait, that had to mean she swallowed the healing potion I had!” thought Lev. “But, when did she swallow it?”

Suddenly, he remembered. He punched Kitezh in the mouth. Afterward, the small cap hit his face. Almost like someone spat it at him.

“She had that vial in her mouth, and made me shatter it inside her mouth! God damn it! Where is that bitch now?!” yelled Lev.

Kitezh heard the booming voice of Lev. Now that she was completely healed, she could make her escape. She ran down the steps of the bastion and had her sight on the pier. She saw the frozen block of ice that Marigold.

Kitezh opened her hand. She was holding two of the healing vials. She remembered Frigyes and Marigold were back inside the bastion. She had to go back and heal them. She needed to go back and face the beast inside again.

She ran through the corridor to the bottom level of the bastion. There was light shining inside from the shattered floor that Lev caused. It shone down on Marigold, almost like a guiding light.

Kitezh ran through the dust and debris and reached Marigold on the ground. She felt Marigold. She was still breathing.

“I could heal you now, and we can run… But, what if you end up getting badly hurt again? I can’t waste another one on you during our escape. I have to save the other vial for Frigyes. Plus, Marigold can’t even use magic anymore. There’s no way she could defend herself,” pondered Kitezh.

“I’ll just make you invisible for now,” thought Kitezh, as she made her whole body vanish.

“Now, why would you hide her like that?” mocked Lev.

Kitezh looked above. There was Lev, pressing his head against the ground above. Kitezh had forgotten. Lev could hear footsteps if he pressed one of his ears on the ground.

“Marigold did say she wanted to ride the horse statue. I want to see that sight too!”

BAM!

CRASH!

Lev punched a wall, and caused it to shatter. Up above was the large statue Marigold witnessed. It had a warrior in armor heroically holding a sword. The horse and its rider make for a size three times their own. It was green was copper, and stood gallantly still.

But now, the statue seemingly jumped off the wall, and wanted to smite its enemy that lay below. It was headed straight for Kitezh and Marigold!
