The Clash of the Two Darks

Ash had returned to the stronghold. He looked stronger and more determined than ever. While everyone was kneeling, he walked into the middle and started shouting,

 "I have returned! Summon all of the army here, and those already here, be ready for an announcement later."

Ash walked up to John and said, "Call in Charlie and come to the main building. We need to discuss the plan."In the main building, Ash was standing tall while John and Charlie were kneeling."Stop kneeling, you two. Listen to me. What I am about to say stays between us until the whole army is here.When the whole army is here, I will offer them a choice: go against Ork or be killed right here and now.""What... Whaaaat, my Lord..."Both John and Charlie were confused and stunned."You two as well choose now. I want the entire dark side to be mine so that later I can go on with the second part of my plan attack the Light Fish Castle and that fish Diana. I want Diana’s head.She tortured me for days. She was bored, so she would come to torture me. She would talk about my old world, and how one day she would conquer it when she’s done with everything she wants in this world."

John raised his head high and said, "I am in."

Charlie said, "I am also by your side, my lord. Always."

"Good. Then you two, go to the captives and lock them in for now. When the battle begins, be by my side and we’ll kill every part of the army that does not want to rebel against King Ork."

While this discussion was happening in the main building, Rose was flying near the outside of the wall, trying to hear as much as possible. She realized something was going to go down but wasn’t sure what. She didn’t hear all the details and thought that Ash and the dark forces were about to attack Diana once the army assembled.

She thought this was an opportunity for herself as a spy. She could go to Diana and report that the dark forces were coming to attack the Light Kingdom.She flew down from the main building, sweating and worried that no one would see her. She returned to the training grounds where Charlie had not yet returned. Some other lizard head was leading the practice.Rose thought this was the perfect opportunity to escape. She asked the lizard head if she could go to the bathroom.The lizard head was angry.

"Again? Didn’t you just go? Are you crazy? Okay, go, but be fast, or else Charlie will kill you."

Rose started walking and when she moved far enough away, she began flying as fast as she could. In her head was only one thought: 

"Just a little more, just a little more, and no one will see me or catch me."

Suddenly, Ogi appeared in front of her, a dinosaur-dragon-looking creature, the master of recon. He saw her and didn’t even ask a question, he just started blasting fireballs from his mouth. Rose evaded them and started flying even faster.Ogi wasn’t the type to give up easily and began blasting more fireballs, ice balls, and thunderballs from his mouth.Rose kept dodging, but she got hit by some fire in the process. She was flying for a straight two hours, being chased and bombarded with balls of elemental energy by Ogi. Ogi wasn’t a big creature, and his energy spells weren’t huge, but they still hurt.After the third hour, she finally managed to escape. Ogi was drained, so he returned and notified Charlie.

Charlie said to Ogi, "Don’t say a word to anyone else.One captive escaped. I will deal with it."

Charlie went into the training ground. With his big sword, he made a swift cut, and the head of the lizard that was leading the training of captives while Charlie was in the main building fell to the floor.Charlie had killed one of his own in an instant. Then he made the captives a promise:"This will happen if anyone tries to do anything funny.Lord Ash is even deadlier, so don’t do anything stupid."Back in Ash’s camp, the army was preparing for a big announcement.

Rose flew back to the Light City scared and wounded, with injuries all over.She was first healed by the mage-angel, the beautiful Fiona.Fiona was one of the best healers and hated everything about war and fighting. She was unlike other female angels wearing many layers of clothing. She didn’t like how her fellow angels wore revealing clothes to charm warrior angels.Fiona liked books and nature. She would always read and search for the best herbs for healing spells. Fiona fully healed Rose.

"Be careful," Fiona said. "Fighting has never brought anything good to anyone."

Rose slowly got up from the stone on which she had been lying.

"I don’t have a choice. I must fight."

Fiona looked at her with worry in her eyes.

"Look, Rose, even if you think so, always think twice about fighting. If possible run. There’s no shame in running."

Rose smiled. "Haha, yes, I know. Running is how I got here. I was captured, but I ran away. Now I must see Diana because we will be attacked by the dark forces soon."Fiona’s eyes dropped to the floor.
"I don’t know what to say. I hope that you’re wrong. Good luck with Diana."

"Thanks for healing me, Fiona. You’re the best. And thank you for your advice and concern."

Fiona smiled slightly. "No problem. Happy to help."
Fiona started packing a few of her things. Feeling that war was coming, she decided to take her own advice, and start running. She slowly began to cry, knowing that some good angels and beasts were going to be led to their deaths by that selfish princess, Diana.

While Rose was heading to Diana, across the big dark sky in Ash’s camp, the army assembled.Ash stood at the tallest main building with Charlie and John. They had many potions and weapons with them.

Ash began speaking like thunder through the sky, his voice cutting through the air."Everyone, I, the Dark Knight Ash, the Slayer of the Heroes, will be the new king!I will kill Ork and take over the Dark Fishes Castle. I will become the ruler.If you are with me kneel before me.If not, freely return to Ork’s castle."

Many creatures in the army were cheering and yelling: "Ash! Ash! Ash!"

A few looked worried. A couple stepped forward and said they would like to return to the castle.It was a minority, so Ash didn’t really care.

"Okay, anyone else?"

No one else wanted to return to Ork.Ash then gave a signal to John and Charlie. They both jumped down and dealt with the creatures who wanted to return.John, with bare fists, pummeled the head of one of the imps, then jumped and smashed the skull of a skeleton.Charlie, with his big black sword, cut down five flying dark fishes at once with a single strike.After a few more seconds of John and Charlie's show, all the creatures and beasts who wanted to return to Ork were dealt with.Then Ash yelled,

"We are going to war tomorrow night!

My men, my beasts, my animals you are my warriors, and I want you to fight and die for me!"John then shouted,

"All praise our Lord Ash, our future king!"

Everyone was shouting: "Ash! Ash! Ash!"

At Ork Castle, the mighty king fish sensed danger approaching.He felt it in his bones that rebellion were coming.He quickly gathered the remaining forces that hadn’t joined Ash. He was ready.He put on his fire armor and took his big axe in hand. He was ready to defend.He sat on his throne and ordered the army to stay alert.He could feel the danger coming, but wasn’t completely sure from where.

Meanwhile, on the Light Throne, Princess Diana was sitting and pondering."What is my next move? What can I do next?Is this what life is all about, doing something big?I still don’t feel like I’ve accomplished anything important."While she was deep in thought, Rose entered through the wall."Your Majesty! Your Majesty! I have information we will be attacked soon. Get the army ready! I was spying, I heard it! We will be attacked!"Diana was surprised. She had sent some of her biggest and best soldiers to secretly attack Ork’s castle a day ago.But with this new info, she had to call them back.

And this is how Rose’s misunderstood conversation cost Diana a great victory at Ork Castle.The army she had sent would have been more than enough to kill Ork and everyone there, now that Ash was orchestrating a rebellion.But Diana sent an order for them to return, believing that Ash and the entire dark force army were coming for her instead.Diana ordered everyone to prepare and thanked Rose for the great information.Rose was finally able to catch her breath, marking this as a victory, unaware that she had just given false information to Princess Diana, who chose to trust her this time.
