Nothing has changed

I was throwing little rocks in my cell while I eat the bread that the knights gave me

“Was it always bread?”

I was bored, it even made me miss my job but at the moment that I thought about that I laughed, my routine was now eating my bread and drink water, throw rocks into the wall until I fall asleep and repeat, now that I think about it wasn’t that different from what I did before.

The girl started laughing covering her mouth and then she dragged me to the storage room.

“Wait for me, okay? I will bring you some bedsheets and something where to lay down okay?”

I lay down in the floor and that was the last thing I remember, when I woke up, I was already in an improvised bed with sheets and a lot of pillows, my body hurt a lot and when I open the door, I could see what the lady told me, a lot of customers trying to order a sandwich.

I opened the door slowly as I tried to sneak out but I saw the lady running in circles and she only pointed her finger up, I understood and went upstairs. None of the customers noticed me or didn’t give me any attention so I just sat down upstairs and looked here at the sounds of business running down.

In a few minutes, the girl came with a sandwich and she offered it to me, I grabbed it with my dirty hands and started munching it.

“It’s delicious…”

“I’m glad you like it… were you trying to go a few moments ago?”

I didn’t answer and continue eating

“You don’t like being in here, perhaps I did drag you against your will”

The girl laughed but I could see she was sad about it; I finished the sandwich and looked down.

“It’s not that… I just don’t like to bother other people… you already made enough by bringing me food and letting me stay last night… It just makes me feel so useless…”

“I never liked it… Usually people are looking for something that benefits them…”

I went to the bathroom and looked at a bucket full of water along with soap, I saw a pick them up while getting undressed and started taking a bath, it feels so refreshing, it was like a new sensation even thought I did it a ton of times back in my world, but this time It feels so good.

I saw the dark water go away and when I finished I felt like a new man, smelling like soap and being ready to take a nap or eat a ton of food, my legs were still tired so I needed some rest.

When I was about to exit the bathroom, I noticed something, there was no extra clothes or something to dry myself, I stood up looking at the door naked.
