Chapter 0:

Vol 1 Chapter 1: Prologue – A Bloody Executioner Who Became a Mommy

Blood Rose Princess Just Wants to Live in Peace with Her Little Daughter

Morning dawned in the Rose Valley with a cool breeze blowing softly, bringing the fresh scent of newly bloomed rose petals. The morning sunlight slipped through the partially opened white curtains, dancing on a small bed filled with a handmade rabbit doll.

On the bed, a little girl with silver hair that shone like moonlight threads was still sleeping peacefully. Her breath was soft, her tiny face hiding the fact that she was no ordinary girl.

“Caelan, honey. Wake up, it’s morning,” a soft yet firm voice was heard from a woman sitting on the edge of the bed.

The blue eyelids slowly opened. The little girl rubbed her eyes, then smiled when she saw her mother’s face.

“Morning, Mom…” she said softly, wriggling like a kitten.

“Hurry up and get dressed, then brush your teeth. Breakfast is ready.”

“Mom… help Caelan get dressed,” she whined while stretching her arms.

The woman took a small breath, then smiled softly. “There’s nothing I can do for you if I have to help you with everything,” she said, pinching her daughter’s soft, warm mochi-like cheeks gently.

They walked to the bathroom, where Marry patiently combed Caelan’s silver hair while she brushed her teeth. The hair, Marry thought, was so similar to her own — like a tiny replica of herself. But different. Caelan’s eyes were purer, more innocent… no more hurt from the past.

“It’s done. Let’s eat.”

A simple dining table made of old flower wood awaited them, with small plates of vegetable porridge, toast, and honey from the small forest behind the valley.

“Mama’s cooking is always the best!” Caelan exclaimed as she took her first bite.

“Is it delicious?” Marry asked with a faint smile.

“Hmmm! Caelan wants to eat Mama’s cooking forever!” she said with a smudged cheek.

“Be careful. Eat slowly,” Marry said, wiping Caelan’s cheek with a napkin. Her heart felt warm. This silence—this peace—was something she had never dreamed of before.

Back then... Seven years ago — the Ruins of the Ancient Kingdom ‘Memorial’...

The sky was dark. Blood rained down on the ruins of the tyrants’ palace. Among the cracked pillars, a woman stood, clad in a blood-stained rose robe. The sword in her hand glowed red, dripping with the scent of death.

“Blood Rose Princess… you do not judge us. We will… erase the memory of our crimes from the world,” said Jose, one of the tyrants who once sat at the top of the Rose Kingdom’s noble council. His hands trembled as he touched the ancient artifact: Memory, a legendary artifact that could manipulate the world’s collective memory.

“Not while I live.”

The rose sword rose. In an instant, the artefact Memory shattered into pieces, shattering into crystal light that flew like star fragments. But the light did not disappear—it pierced Marry’s body.

“What… is this…?” Marry was pushed back, clutching her stomach. “No, my body… why is it bloated? What did you do…?!”

Instantly, the tyrants fell into a coma. The world, as if hit by mass amnesia, forgot the wounds of history. The victims walked without remembering the wounds, the perpetrators slept in silence. And Marry El Rose, the executioner of blood, was pregnant.

Without a father. Without love. Only the legacy of the world's will and the memories gathered in her womb.

Back to the Rose Valley...

“Mom, why are you smiling to yourself?” asked Caelan, swinging her legs on the chair.

“Ah… it's okay,” replied Marry, hiding her soft smile.

Her heart was sliced softly.

"I never wanted to be a mother," she muttered to herself. "I just wanted the world to be clean from oppressors... from evil... from the rottenness of tyrants..."

But in front of her now, a little girl born from chaos and despair was laughing, covered in honey, not knowing that her mother's blood had rewritten history.

"Killing tyrants and establishing a blood rule of law? Forget it," she thought.

Now, only one hope remained in her heart.

"I just want my little girl to grow up healthy."

Author's Note:
I'm considering making a prequel to Marry el Rose before she became Mama and is still actively hunting down tyrants as Blood Rose Princess - the bloody executioner. If you're interested, please comment.
