Chapter 5:
My Second Life Is OverPower [VOL 1]
Syura had just stepped out of the guild door, and he began to explore the power he possessed.
“Krekk” — the sound of the cracked door being opened.
“Tap...tapp...tapp” — the sound of footsteps touching the wooden floor of the guild.
"I'm still curious about that unreasonable skill and status from earlier," Syura said quietly.
"All In One, what does that skill mean?"
"Do I have a skill with no limits?" Syura asked with a tone full of wonder.
Then, Syura stepped away from the guild and headed to the tree beside the right side of the guild. He sat there, fiddling with his skills and status.
"Teleportation skill," Syura said uncertainly.
Suddenly, a holographic panel appeared in front of Syura.
[Teleportation Skill - Available]
Syura’s face still showed disbelief and confusion.
"This can't be real."
"Enemy detection skill."
[Enemy Detection Skill - Available]
Syura gave a faint smile, his eyes glowing red, and a faint black-and-red aura appeared.
"So this is what All In One means."
Back inside the guild, on the top floor—
Gyuta was walking down the hallway toward Drake's place to report the incident and everything that had happened.
“Tap..tapp..tapp” — the heavy steps of Gyuta’s feet.
“Tokk..tok...tokk” — the sound of the door being knocked on by Gyuta.
A voice was heard from inside the room:
"Come in, the door’s not locked."
“Krekk” — the sound of the door opening as Gyuta entered.
Then...
As the door opened:
"Gyuta? Welcome back."
"Has your mission been completed? So you're back at the guild?" said Drake.
"No, I have failed, Master," Gyuta replied.
Drake smiled faintly and rose from his chair, turning to face the window, folding his hands behind his back.
"It’s alright, Gyuta."
"I already expected it from the start," Drake said calmly.
Gyuta gave his reasons and facts about what happened and why he lost.
"I didn’t lose to one person, but there are three pillars protecting him."
"Three pillars that must be defeated first," Gyuta said firmly.
Drake turned to face Gyuta.
"Who are they? Do you remember their names?" asked Drake.
"Of course, Master, I remember them clearly."
"Kaizer [The Black Emperor]"
"Shepia [The Queen of Darkness]"
"Rexus [The Fire of Darkness]"
[Threat Level: Global]
Gyuta said with eyes full of rage and his hands starting to emit a black-and-white aura.
"And their king’s name is—"
"Xeykros [The Darkness]"
[Threat Level: Unknown]
Drake sat back in his chair.
"Calm down, Gyuta."
"There’s something you need to know."
"Our guild is not the strongest," Drake said.
Then Drake explained something to Gyuta.
"The Anvil region is a very remote place."
"Void Guild is officially registered."
"But we are the weakest guild."
"There is actually a rank above G+," Drake said.
Gyuta was shocked to hear that. His face turned serious, and his gaze sharpened.
"A rank above G+? That’s impossible, Master," Gyuta said firmly.
"Gyuta, everything I’ve said is the truth."
"The rank above G+ is N."
Then Gyuta asked firmly,
"Then, Master, why haven’t you told the whole guild about this?" Gyuta asked firmly.
"I was just about to tell everyone, but then you came to me," Drake replied calmly.
Then Drake got up from his chair.
"You should take a rest first. I’ll head downstairs for a bit," Drake said.
Drake left the room.
“Kreek” — the sound of the door opening.
Drake walked down the hallway and descended the stairs slowly, and a few moments later, he reached the lower floor.
Drake wrote something near the registration board:
The letter “N”, right above G+.
Silvia was surprised to see Drake writing that on the rank board.
"Master, why are you writing N?"
"Did you make a mistake?" Silvia asked, full of curiosity.
"Silvia, from now on, the highest rank is no longer G+."
"But N," Drake said firmly.
The entire guild that heard it was shocked. Silence fell; only the ticking of a clock could be heard.
Silvia stood up from her chair in shock.
"Master, are you joking?" Silvia asked.
"No, Silvia, this is the truth."
"I’ve traveled the world."
"Anvil is too distant and small to hear this news," Drake said firmly.
Silvia could only remain silent and sit back down.
Then Drake returned upstairs, and the guild's atmosphere returned to normal.
