Chapter 15:

Chapter 15 - Unification

My Second Life Is OverPower [VOL 1]

Syura had just emerged from the forest, carrying fresh fruits to sell.

"These fruits should sell well," he said.

Syura walked away from the forest, heading back toward Valhem city.

Tapp... tapp... tapp — the sound of Syura’s footsteps moving away from the forest.

A few minutes later, Syura arrived in the city, and there was an old man whom he had met before.

"Are you alright, young man?"

"I saw some very black water earlier, rising into the sky," said the old man.

"I'm fine, sir. I just went to pick some fresh fruits."

"Here, I’ll give you an apple," said Syura.

"Thank you, son. I hope your business thrives," replied the old man.

Syura continued his walk into the city, looking for a place to open his stall.

Then, Syura saw a spot near the entrance, tucked in the corner, small but noticeable.

"This place looks perfect to start selling."

After spotting the location, Syura activated a skill:

[Crafting]

A wooden cart appeared, not too big.

Syura began placing the fruits he had gathered from the forest onto the cart.

On the other side, an extraordinary threat was awaiting.

Somewhere at the edge of the world—

The sky was a mixture of black and red, the land barren and filled only with stones.

There stood four terrifying figures—figures Gyuta had once seen before:

Kaizer [The Black Emperor]
Shepia [The Queen of Darkness]
Rexus [The Fire of Darkness]

And the most fearsome of them all—

Xeykros [The Darkness]

Then...

“It is time for the world to be destroyed.”

“The nightmare is coming,” said Xeykros with a deep and chilling voice.

“Are you sure, Lord Xeykros?” asked Shepia.

“Isn’t this plan a bit too soon, my lord?” asked Rexus.

“We are ready whenever you are,” said Kaizer.

Xeykros stood up from his throne with an aura both terrifying and explosive.

“The sooner the world is destroyed, the better,” said Xeykros.

Shepia, Kaizer, and Rexus stood up simultaneously.

Xeykros raised his hand toward the sky.

“Prepare yourselves, my subordinates.”

The sky shifted — a vortex formed above, lightning struck wildly, the earth cracked open.

Fiuuuuuu — the sound of light emanating from Xeykros’s hand.

DARRRRR — the sky split with a deafening sound.

Then, a thick black light, darker than night itself, enveloped them.

Wooooshhh

Wooosshhh — the sound of wind swirling around them.

Then, Xeykros activated his skill:

[Unification of Eternal Darkness]

DARRRRRRRR!!!! — a thunderous sound rang out.

The surrounding area was completely obliterated without a trace.

Slowly, a figure emerged, as if born from darkness.

Gradually visible, a figure clad in jet-black armor with red accents.

His eyes glowed red, his gaze sharp like a wild beast, wielding a sword wrapped in dark aura.

The figure began to smirk slightly.

“I was born from darkness.”

“My name is Draksil,” he said with a terrifying tone.

On the other side—

Syura was tending to a customer who had bought some of his fruits.

“Thank you, sir,” said Syura with a smile.

Suddenly, Syura sensed Draksil’s presence.

The surroundings around him changed drastically — what was once lively and filled with children playing,

Now turned pitch black, without even a sliver of light.

Dassss — the atmosphere changed entirely.

“I feel an incomprehensible power.”

“Even the world itself rejects it.”

“It’s very far from here,” said Syura.

Then, nature began to respond to the overwhelming power.

Suddenly, a massive meteor — the size of two mountains — came crashing down toward Valhem city.

Sigggggg — the sound of the rapidly descending meteor.

A massive shockwave struck the city of Valhem, leaving its citizens stunned, frozen in fear and confusion.

Their legs trembled, children cried, some prayed, some prostrated.

Elsewhere—

The guild The One had prepared to destroy the meteor.

“Get ready, protect this city with all your strength,” said Master Yosu.

“I’ll take care of it myself — this is too easy,” said Exiel.

“Don’t be so arrogant,” said Farah.

Exiel and Farah leapt into the sky and activated their skills:

[Flower Slash] — said Farah.
[Fire Slash] — said Exiel.

Sringgggg — the sound of the meteor being slashed.

“It’s too big. We’re sorry, Master,” said Farah.

Then, Yosu unleashed one hundred percent of his power with light-speed movement:

[Final Light Slash]

Yosu jumped into the sky, slashing the meteor.

Slashhhh — the sound of Yosu’s slash.

But the meteor was still too massive, and was about to destroy the city.

“Even my strength isn’t enough,” said Yosu.

Elsewhere—

Syura gave a faint smile, looking up at the sky and seeing Yosu, Exiel, and Farah.

“Looks like I have to step in,” said Syura.

[Silent Step]

[Invisible Step]

[Final Slash]

In an instant, Syura appeared before the meteor.

Slashhhh — the sound of Syura’s slash.

Flashhhhh — a blinding white light illuminated everything.

Dummmm — the meteor shattered.

When everyone opened their eyes, the meteor was completely gone—nothing remained.

Yosu, Exiel, and Farah stood stunned and speechless.

Then, Yosu appeared in front of Syura’s stall.

“Still too easy.”

“I must fight him.”

His overwhelming aura burst forth, while Syura gave a faint smile, quietly tidying up his stall.
