Chapter 20 – Drakhil

The morning was more tense than usual. The five strongest people in the world gathered in one place.

The atmosphere inside the Crazon Castle room was more ominous than ever.

“This is a battle of life and death.”

“All hope, all happiness…”

“Rests on your five shoulders,” said Raisu.

Gion, Sisca, Victor, Sealsin, and Kyoya stood facing each other, their auras exploding with an intense and terrifying pressure. Raisu stood in the center of them.

“I’ll join you, to help,” said Raisu.

Then…

A hologram panel appeared, visible only to Raisu.

[King of Wind]

“Don’t worry, I won’t be a burden to you,” said Raisu.

Elsewhere…

Drakhil, a place at the edge of the world—vast plains, no trees, no living beings, only mountains.

A place untouched by human hands.

Dead and withered plants, dry lakes, barren land, and extremely thin air.

A great clash was about to occur—an event that would change the world. There were only two options: fall into darkness or live safely and comfortably.

Suddenly, a figure appeared—an entity of dark light, darker than night itself.

When his foot touched the barren land, everything turned worse. The land became black and gloomy.

And with that, everything began.

Then, a holographic notification appeared in the middle of Crazon Castle’s hall.

[Draksil: King of Darkness]
[Threat Level: Galaxy]
[Recommended Rank: Unknown]

“Prepare yourselves, The Elemental,” said Raisu.
“Everything will be decided here.”

Meanwhile…

Syura was casually eating an apple while reading a book about the fish species in the world.

“There are so many kinds…”

Then, a holographic notification appeared in front of his face.

[Draksil: King of Darkness]
[Threat Level: Galaxy]
[Recommended Rank: Unknown]

“Oh right, I almost forgot.”

“Better to just watch them… while eating this apple,” said Syura, yawning.

Back at the Crazon hall…

“Zringgg” – the sound of a portal opening.

“Get ready and show the results of your training,” said Raisu.

In unison, they responded,

“Yes, Master,” said The Elemental.

Before the great battle began, Syura had already arrived in Drakhil, standing on top of a mountain.

“This seems like the perfect place to watch them,” said Syura lazily.

Then, Syura activated a skill:

[Skill Eyes of Infinity: Active]

“With this skill, I can watch all their movements.”

“Zringgg” – the sound of another portal opening.

Slowly, The Elemental and Raisu emerged from the portal.

“Zringg” – the sound of the portal closing.

Suddenly, a terrifying figure appeared.

A being wearing jet-black armor with red accents.

Eyes glowing red, a sharp gaze like a wild beast, wielding a sword engulfed in a dark aura.

Meanwhile…

Syura, still munching on an apple.

“Wahh… wahhh… this is gonna be fun.”

“Six weirdos vs. one monster,” said Syura.

Suddenly, the sky split in two.

“DAAAR!!!” – the sound of the sky cracking.

One side of the sky was bright, the other pitch black.

An extraordinary clash of energy had begun.

“Come on, we’re ready anytime,” said Victor.

Then…

“I’ll only start fighting if you use one hundred percent of your power,” said Draksil in a deep voice.

“Alright then, don’t regret it,” said Kyoya.

“Fiuuuuu”
“DAAAAAARRR” – an immense explosion. Nearly half a mountain was leveled.

Raisu and The Elemental unleashed their blazing auras.

The colors were striking—while Draksil’s aura remained pitch black.

“Wooose” – the sound of wind blowing.

“Any last words before you die?” said Sealsin.

“You’re just a lowly creature,” said Sisca.

“I’m ready to burn you to ashes,” said Gion.

Then, without hesitation, Draksil unleashed a skill:

[Eternal Darkness Slash]

A lightning-fast attack headed for Raisu and The Elemental.

“Slashhh”
“Slashhh” – the sound of violent slashes.

Sealsin countered with her skill:

[Shield of Eternal Light]

“Tiggg” – the clash of blade against shield.

“Light will always defeat darkness,” said Sealsin.

Kyoka immediately attacked Draksil:

[Shadow Step]
[Shadow of Eternal Slash]

Kyoka suddenly appeared behind Draksil, ready to slash.

Before he could strike—

Sisca activated a skill:

[Eternal Ice Lock]

Ice emerged around Draksil’s feet, freezing him in place.

Then…

Gion jumped into the sky and used a skill:

[Arrow of Eternal Fire]

Dozens of fiery arrows rained down toward Draksil.

“STILL NOT ENOUGH!!!” shouted Victor.

Victor released his skill:

[Eternal Lightning of Judgment]

Lightning struck down from the sky, targeting Draksil.

Raisu drew both his swords and unleashed a skill:

[Infinite Slash Eternal Wind]

They all attacked simultaneously.

“Slashhh”
“DAAAAR!!!”
“Fiuuu”

An enormous explosion occurred.

“DAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!”

The ground cracked, mountains were destroyed—only one remained standing.

Elsewhere…

“What an incredible explosion.”

“Good thing this mountain is still safe,” said Syura, munching on his apple.

Then…

After the massive blast, a black aura cloaked Draksil.

Slowly, he stepped out of the darkness.

“WEAK!!! YOU’RE ALL WEAK!!”

“HAHAHAHAHA” – laughed Draksil.

Then…

“Now it’s my turn.”

“Prepare yourselves.”

“There is no power that can resist this,” said Draksil.

[Eternal Slash of The God of Darkness]

“Slashhh”
“Slashhh”
“Slashhh”
“Slashhh”
“Slashh”
“Slashh”

Incredible speed—completely unavoidable.

The slashes struck Gion, Sisca, Raisu, Kyoka, and Sealsin.

Their bodies collapsed, unable to stand.

“This attack will split the world,” said Draksil.

Their eyes nearly shut.

Draksil unleashed another skill:

[Final Slash World-Plitting Slash]

He leapt into the sky and swung his sword.

“Farewell,” said Draksil.

“Slashhhh” – the slash hurtled toward the ground.

But before it hit—

“Tiggggggg” – the sound of swords clashing.

Gion, Sisca, Raisu, Kyoka, Sealsin heard it faintly before losing consciousness.

Then…

The slash reversed direction—into the sky.

“That was dangerous, you know.”

“You damn monster,” said Syura while eating his apple.

“Who are you, you WEAK BRAT!!” shouted Draksil.

Then…

“Weak? I can cut you down with just one strike,” said Syura.

“YOU STUPID BRAT!!” Draksil roared in fury.

Draksil used the same skill—this time aimed at Syura:

[Final Slash World-Plitting Slash]

“GOODBYE, BRAT!!!” screamed Draksil.

Syura’s aura suddenly changed—red and blue fused into one. His eyes calm like water, his body cloaked in an aura of electricity.

“Forgive me…”

“This is for the sake of the world.”

Then Syura activated his skills:

[Skill All In One: Active]
[God Step]
[God Slash]
[God Speed]

“Slashhh” – a slash so silent it was nearly inaudible.

“ARGHHHH” – Draksil screamed in pain.

“This is not the end, but the beginning of something greater,” said Draksil.

With his remaining strength, Draksil cast a dark aura seed onto the ground.

“The real hell is just beginning…”

Then a holographic notification appeared:

[Draksil King of Darkness: Defeated]
[Use The Eater to absorb power]
[Yes]
[No]

“So this skill can absorb power too?” said Syura casually.

[Yes]

“Fiusssss” – the sound of aura entering Syura’s body.

“Flassssshh” – a flash of dark light.

Within the darkness, only Syura remained.

He saw Draksil’s memories from the past…

A young Draksil—still human.

Beaten, whipped, chained, his body full of wounds.

“I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!!!” screamed young Draksil.

Syura saw the boy draw a summoning circle with white chalk.

A figure emerged from the circle—Draksil made a forbidden pact.

“Flassshhh” – the dark light faded. Syura returned to the barren land.

Elsewhere…

The seed thrown by Draksil slowly grew into a terrifying figure.

Back to Syura…

“Even the most evil person was once someone good,” said Syura.

Then…

“This land is too barren and unfit for life,” said Syura.

He walked away while activating a skill:

[Infinity Tree and Flowers]

Slowly, the barren land turned into a beautiful, lush place.

“Evil people come from those who were once good,” said Syura while eating an apple.
