This story was written on a whim (and maybe that shows in the quality, though I do try, haha), but as I kept writing, I completely fell in love with the characters and their messy little lives. I hope you do too.

I know my word doesn't mean much, but I have a large backlog, so this story isn't getting abandoned! Pinky promise!

Two quick things before we start:

1. Indra (MC) is kind of a judgmental jerk. Especially in his own head, and sometimes out loud too. He's snarky about people, religion, and things that most folks would probably handle with a bit more grace. He is a good person at heart. But yeah, he's mean sometimes. I don't share any of his "meaner" takes, and he does grow. Promise.

2. There is spice that gets explicit and uncensored, though not until Chapter 11. Because I'm posting this for a challenge, I can't add individual content warnings on those later chapters. So I'll mark them with a 🌶️ in the title. Feel free to skip those chapters. I'll leave a comment below those chapters with any important plot points so nothing is missed :)
