Time passed by and it was finally the day they sailed for the magic academy.

The magic academy was located between the only two continents of the world, the MIXED RACE CONTINENT and HOLY CONTINENT, on an island surrounded by water from every side.

The HOLY CONTINENT was located on the left side covering the other 1/3 area. It was not connected to the island by any ground means while The MIXED RACE CONTINENT is connected to the island by 2 routes of ground, 1 from the upper most part and one from the lowest part of the continent. Routes by sea were also available, the ships sailed from the coast from where straight sailing of ships could take you to the island..

Hiakru and Yuki took the ship route because the ship port was closer to the Etus region (where the village was) than the ground route.

At ship port–

"Have you packed all the things?" Asked Miss melli

"Yup, some clothes, food and the sword we used for training " said hikaru

"You should buy a new one there, it looks like it will break in 2 or 3 swings "said sana

" Are there shops for these on the island?" Asked hikaru

"There are. The academy is only located at the upper part. There are shops of everything and people also live there" miss melli replied

"Then I will look for it there"

"What about you yuki, you didn't forget anything right?"

"Yes, all set"

Someone shouted from the ship " the ship is going to sail in ten minutes "

"Then see you later and if Aki makes a scene at academy send me a letter" said miss melli

Aki got his body back during winter time.

"I will not" replied Aki

"Then bye" said hikaru and they went on the ship

After the ship covered half of the distance to the island–

Yuki and Sana were looking at the sea. They saw another ship going to the island, it was not as crowded as their ship.

" That ship is not crowded as much as ours," said Yuki.

"Look closely there are guards on the ship" pointed out sana.

"ya, there are guards there. May be a rich person is on the ship"

" That's probably the reason why is it not crowded or either they are transporting some goods"

A woman came up on the deck

"Look there is a women there"said yuki

"she is wearing some high class clothes, looks like the ship is sailed for some rich persons" said sana

'Brother look at that ship.....ehh? What happened to you two?" asked Yuki while looking at Aki and Hikaru

" This ships driver doesn't know how to dive it bwhaaaaaaa" Hikaru was sea sick and so was Aki

"ships doesn't have driver, its not his fault for you sea sickness" said yuki

"h...how are you two not affected by it" asked Hiakru

"lucky!" smiled and said yuki

"Eat this sour candy and try to distract yourself with something else may be that will help you" suggested sana

Hikaru and Aki tried as Sana suggested, They started to feel a little better.

"Look at that ship, look like some Nobel person are riding it" said Yuki while pointing at the ship

"Don't point towards them " said hikaru

The person on the ship saw them and waved at them. Yuki and Sana waved back. Another woman came out on the deck and started talking with the guard.

'I don't want to interact with them, I don't know the laws of the world what if they got mad because a commoner pointed at them' Thought hikaru

On the deck of the other ship–

"Hana"

"Oh! Mahiru are you here to also enjoy the view"

"No, I was here to inform the guard to keep check of the surrounding, your father said that some dangerous sea creature are seen here in recent days, usually this area is safe but not for some days" said Mahiru

"Oh ya they did told us about it" Replied Hana

Mahiru saw the other ship "there is other ship sailing with us huh"

"Ya, i saw someone pointing toward us so i waved hands at them and they waved back"

"That ship is sure crowded"

"By the way how much more time is left to reach the island" asked Hana

"Around 2 to 3 hours more the guards said "

"Still a long way to go huh"

" Long way or not, I have to go there" said Hikaru with a serious face

"Now now ,Put that aside and look at beautiful sea with me"

At Hikaru's ship-

"Are there more sour candies" asked hikaru

"You both finished all already, there isn't even a piece left stop asking" angrily replied Yuki

Aki was laid on the deck looking almost dead, hikaru saw him and thought i better distract myself with something.

"Yuki.....help me stand up " requested hikaru

Yuki helped hikaru stand up and take him toward the edge. Hikaru's hair was annoying yuki. They were not washed and pretty long.

"You should cut these Hairs, who keeps this long hair for a man?" Said yuki

"Sorry, I didn't have much time. I was busy in the Henth region while training with sana, those were some harsh days of winter. I had to train full day bathing was not even an option"

"At least wash them when we reach the island. You look like the classic ghost woman with her hair covering the face."

"Okay..... I remembered something"

"What?"

"I heard there that the person incharge of Etos region, our region, was killed the same day when we were attacked. They kept the information from leaking out maybe it was also Nefrim doing"

Yuki stared at the other ship and said " we need to stop him"

"I will stop him" said hikaru and puked again "bugghhhhhhhh"

"You need to stop throwing up first" said Yuki while holding her head

Hikaru lands his gaze behind the other ship. Hikaru saw a big shadow approaching that ship.

"Yuki bring me the sword from my bag"

"Why? You want to swing the sword?"

"We might need it and be on alert mode " said hikaru while pointing at the shadow.

Yuki gave the sword to hikaru and started looking around their ship.

"There isn't one around ours" said yuki

"It's good, but don't let your guard down"

The shadow disappeared. Hikaru still looked around for a minute but nothing happened.

"Looks like we are lucky, I didn't want to make a scene here between all these people. We have to stay low" said hikaru

"But still I will guard a little longer" said yuki

Hikaru nodded in agreement. The other ship went ahead of them. Yuki was looking at the back of their ship.

Peoples on the deck were chatting like usual "That ship looks Like of someone nobel or rich person"

"It is of a rich person, I saw two women on deck. I want to marry one of them, then I can be also rich"

"Like they would marry someone like you"

"Who knows, maybe they would fall for me at first sight. Want to try hitting on them when we get off the ship"

"If you promise Your face first when they slap"

"It won't happen"

"Ok then i will join you "

'Have you ever had an encounter with a woman in real life?, I will pray for you to return in one piece' thought hikaru while listening to them.

Yuki came back after a round around the deck.

"Looks like nothing is going to happen" said yuki

" Then you can rest until we reach the island, i am still somewhat dizzy so i am going to distract myself with the other ship"

" Are you going to stare at those women on the other ship?

" I rather stare at Aki's face "

"Where are those two?" Asked yuki

"They are sitting on the bench inside the shade, and Sana is looking after him."

"Then i am also going there if you see something then call me"

"okay"

A few minutes passed, Hikaru was still looking for that shadow and fighting with his own sea sickness. The other ship picked up more distance, the gap between the two ships kept increasing.

The waves in the sea started getting stronger and stronger, dark clouds appeared out of nowhere and rain started. It became harder to see the shadow of any sea fish or other thing on the surface of the sea.

" I am already at the verge of passing out please have mercy on me waves" said Hiakru and "barwwwwffffff" did it again

Hikaru tried his best to not pass out. He looked towards the other ship out of curiosity to look how they were doing. One of the guards had the same condition as Hikaru, Hiakru saw it and thought ' Looks like ship doesn't matter huh'

while looking at their ship Hikaru caught a glimpse of a little skin of something approaching that ship. Hikaru without wasting time to confirm it and called Yuki

" Yuki!! throw me towards the ship on something and do something here"

" Okay" yuki understands what he means.

She made a clone of Hikaru with her spell and blasted a fireball in the back side of their ship. All the people on the boat gathered at the back side of the deck. Yuki went toward Hikaru and made a flat board of ice with magic, hikaru climbed up on it, yuki attached hikaru's feet on it and launched it with a certain speed so that hikaru won’t fall off it.

At the same time when Hikaru saw the skin of someone, on the other boat-

" The weather took a sudden change" said Hana

" ya... But its too sudden" said Mahiru

one of the guards started feeling sea sickness and was throwing up, Hana went to help him.

"sir you should come inside, it could become worse. Please take a rest inside" and took him inside.

Hana came outside and told other guards to rest if they were not feeling well.

" What was that?" Both Hana and Mahiru get surprised and rush to the back of the deck to look for the cause of the sound.. All the guards' attention was also there.

A creature whose body was flat with all 10 to 12 pairs of fins on the upper surface came out of the sea. It was a Dren, a creature related to Sea Dragons. They are like cats and tigers, where Dren are the cats and the Sea Dragon are the Tigers.

The Dren started flying in the air and approached the ship. It starts preparing for an attack. Drens can attack with a high pressure water concentrated at a point with his or her fins.

Mahiru, Hana and the other guards' attention was drawn toward the Dren but they were late and couldn't counter attack or defend on time.

Mahiru's eyes caught a thing coming towards them from the other ship.

It was Hikaru on the ice board. Hikaru lowered himself a little bit, pulled the sword back, and fixed his eyes on Dren.

With a great speed hikaru sliced through the Dren, The sword breaks at the point when it cuts the Dren in two halves.

Dren was not a weak sea creature but it was fixated on attacking the ship that made it easier to kill it.

Hikaru went flying until he escaped the field of vision of the peoples on the deck.

Mahiru couldn't properly see the face of hikaru but due to his long hair, Mahiru and Hana mistook him for a woman.

"She saved us" said Mahiru

Mahiru saw another Dren coming towards them.

"Guards there is one more dren in the front"

Some guards were swordsmen and some were magicians. Two guards were protecting Hana because she can't use magic but she was taught swordsman by her father.Due to the absence of a sword in her hand, guards protected her.

Mahiru had powers that were different from magicians. Like Luce had powers and he could control ice to a great extent.

These powers are very rare and not commonly found. It is said that it was because of the death of one of the 7 monsters who ruled the world, that some people gained these powers.

Those who wield these powers are called Jokers

Mahiru was also a magician at Advance level. In this world it's not normal to master two things.

But Mahiru tried not to rely on them too much and mostly used magic spells.

The dren jumped out of water and went towards the sky.The rain drops shape changed in thin needles and the speed of them falling also accelerated.

"Put the defence barrier" a guard shouted

The magician cast a defence barrier spell covering the whole ship. Some water needles broke through the barrier and damaged the ship.

Mahiru didn't have her wand with her.

The Dren came towards the ship from the sky, preparing to use a water cannon. As the name suggests it throws water with high pressure.

Mahiru casted a lightning spell on the dren. It worked, it did some damage but it was not enough.

"Someone bring me my wand" shouted Mahiru

The sick guard who was inside yells

"Miss Mahiru here!!" And throwed the wand towards Mahiru

Mahiru catched it. She used wind magic and slayed it with air cuts using her wand.

Mahiru and Hana sigh in relief.The ship starts sinking.

"What do we do now?" Hana asked

"Come on this ship!" Someone shouted from behind the ship. The other ship caught up to them and Sana was the one who suggested that they jump on the ship.

"All guards and hana get on the other ship." shouted Mahiru.

Yuki decides to vanish the clone because of all the commotion. If the clone gets involved with any of the people they will find out about it so she decided to do it.

All the people safely got on the ship and the other ship sinked. Some of the guards managed to get all the luggage. Mahiru and Hana scolded them for that action but in the end all were safe.

"Thanks for your help" said Hana and Mahiru

"No problem, is everyone from that ship is here" replied sana

"Yes. Once again, we greatly appreciate your help. " Mahiru and sana

"It's okay, now get some rest" said yuki

The waves settled down and dark clouds went away. Mahiru and hana were being checked by healers from their guards.

"I shot my brother a little too far away." Said Yuki while agonizing and clenching her fists.

"That sure was a funny scene. When he didn't get off the board and went far away, I laughed hard" said Sana while laughing.

"May be i fixed brother's leg too hard on the board" said yuki

"He will be fine, we will look for him after getting of the ship"

Mahiru once again came to express her gratitude.

"Thank you for helping us before"

"I said it already it's not a-"

"I am not talking about that."

"Huh?"

"I was talking about when you launched someone on that thing to kill the first dren"

'Awww.. she saw it' thought yuki in her head

"Can i thank that person also, I don't see that person on the deck"

" I will thank that person on behalf of you don't worry"

"Okay thanks" said Mahiru

'The stance of that woman was so beautiful. To hold a sword with a posture that completely spells win in one strike. I was fully captivated by that scene. I fell in love with her sword style. I want to meet her again' thought Mahiru in her head. She still thinked that person was a woman.

The two person who were thinking of hitting on the women-

" Hey buddy, it's like a miracle, heaven is with us. The two ladies we were talking about are now on our ship"

"You are right"

"We should try hitting on them when we get off the ship"

"I think we have chance"

The ship reached its destination. People started getting off the ship. Yuki , sana and Aki get off the ship first.

The first thing Aki did was to kiss the ground. Sana and Yuki started looking for Hikaru from the coast. Sana saw someone in the sea swimming towards the coast.

"Is that hikaru?" Sana said to yuki

Yuki takes a looks and says

"I can't confirm it, lets go check whether is he or not"

They all headed to where he was coming. When they came a little closer they started to see his face clearly. It was hikaru. You can see the look of exhaustion on his face.

When hikaru reached the coast Yuki helped him climb up, while Aki’s laugh filled the surrounding area.

"Sorry I freezed your legs to the board a little too much" apologized yuki

"A little?" Said hikaru while panting.

" sorry"

" But you managed to keep up with the ship and reached the island around the same time with the ship. You are a great swimmer, " Aki couldn't stop mocking him.

" Shut up!"

Yuki and Aki dried Hikaru's cloth by a small fire.

Hikaru calmed down a little.

"Let's go to the academy to fill out a form of teaching."said sana

" I will come there after sometime, you can go first. My mind is still dizzy. I will take a little walk first" said hikaru

They went ahead first. Hikaru was taking a walk, he could barely walk. Everything was shaking for him and he was exhausted from all the swimming.

Hikaru hears loud noises. He saw that some guards were holding two men.

'Those guys...... those are the ones who were going to hit on those women. Did they really do it?'

While the guards were dealing with those two men,Hana and Mahiru were walking towards Hikaru.

"Is he drunk?" whispers Mahiru to Hana while looking at Hikaru.

Hikaru still couldn't walk properly.

"Maybe. He looks like he is drunk" said hana

The distance between them decreases little by little.

:Thuddd:

Just when they were going to cross each other, Hikaru fell upon them. Hikaru lost all of his leg strength.

'Ah... what? I fell but the ground is not that hard….. Wait! Why is it soft? This feeling... my hands are between something…… Ah! I remembered I was crossing by two women's……. dont tell me.no no no I am dead now' thought hikaru in some split seconds

Both cheeks of hikaru were red.

" He was a drunk pervert. " said Mahiru and both Hana and Mahiru went to their destination with the guards catching up to them.

"I both hate and fear women. I think old ladies are the only women I can get along with." Said Hikaru and looked towards the horizon.

Hikaru walked a little more then went to the academy. Which is located at the upper part of the island.

When reaching there, Hikaru saw Yuki, Sana and Aki come out of the academy.

"Did you fill the form?" Asked hikaru

Aki slowly turns and looks toward Hikaru "Yeee- what happened to you cheeks"

"Slapped. And on both sides, maybe by two women." Sana figured out it all. She felt a little uneasy in the chest.

" Wait, what did you do brother? Did you hit on a woman? I can't believe you"

"It's all your and ships fault"

Hikaru explained everything to them.

Sana felt a little relieved.

"You have great bad luck today " Aki started mocking him again.

"Sorry" apologized yuki

"Well what happened can't be changed. Did you fill the forms?"

"Ya we did.we also filled your form they accepted it.The exam and interview is in 3 days" replied aki

'Wait there is an exam? Nobody told me about that"

"That much is obvious. You can't just simply go in the academy and say i want to teach here and they will accept you"

"Whats the syllabus "

"Did you hit your head or what? They will ask question related to the field you are going to teach and if swordman they will do a mock battle"

"Oh right. Looks like I lost common sense. So what are we doing now?"

"We are going to buy a house here" said yuki

"Really!!!" Hikaru couldn't hide his excitement.

"Yes" answered yuki

"I want a house with a big bathroom." Hikaru presented his little wish.

"We have to stay in budget "said aki

They went to buy a house on the island while discussing which type of house and what they wanted.
