[CONTINUATION]

Some time has passed since James was shipped off to begin his school life at age 6. James was sent to Zell's Magic and Combat Academy.

[ZELLS M&C ACADEMY]

When James arrived at his new school, he met a teacher who had taken him to the room where he'd spend the next couple of years of his life. At first, James thought that everything would be fine since no one knew that he had an F-rank aptitude.

After some time, as James got accustomed to he's living space, he started wondering about the school to get a lay of the land and see where to go for orientation the next day. When James finished looking around the school, he went back to his room to get some rest for what was to come.

[THE NEXT DAY]

The day after James had looked around the school, it was orientation, and he had to go to the field to get information from the teachers about the school and get assigned classes. During the orientation period, the student council president and vice president spoke to the students about the school and tests that they'll have to take before getting assigned to their classes.

They explained that they had to go to their physical exam and aptitude test to get assigned classes, and if they failed, they would either be sent back home or be given a retake (on the physical) in case they had been close to not failing.

Student Council President: “The exams will be held tomorrow on the school's training ground,” They said enthusiastically.

After orientation, James went to his room to think about what he was going to do the next day, as he has a low aptitude and knows people are going to switch up on him after they find out he's essentially useless as a person.

James Inner Monologue: “It looks as if these years won’t be as easy going as I wanted, starting tomorrow, what should I do?, It’s not like I can make it through the aptitude test with a higher score than I started with.” He stares blankly at the wall in his room.

[CLASS ASSIGNMENT DAY]

James woke up on the day he would be assigned classes whilst staring at the ceiling of his dorm room. He soon got up and decided to go to the school's training ground so he could get assigned to his class.

James walked to the training grounds and got placed in one of five groups, which would be getting assigned classes, and told to go sit in the group until the tests are explained and they are assigned a class to got to (James is in group 4).

(Students chatting)

Student Council President: “Alright.” Projected loudly.

All the students at the training grounds quiet down and divert their attention towards the Student Council President.

Student Council President: “Listen up, everyone. Today your going to get your classes assigned to your. You’ve all in put in your respective groups, so I’ll explain how the tests you’ll have to do work.” Gazing at all the students.

The Student Council President gestures hes hand towards the physical part of the test and a student who’s about to do it as an example of what they have to do in the test.

Student Council President: “As you can see here, for the physical part of the test, it isn’t anything too difficult, but it isn’t easy either. You’ll be going thru a course that consists of basic pushups, squats, burpees, running, and hand to hand combat with a magic bot and you will all be assessed by the teachers here at the school, and rated on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being the best and 1 being the worst, those which complete this will go onto the aptuide test then given classes based on both the physical and general aptitude, those which cant complete the physical test will all be sent home, or can try again tommorow if they cut it close.” They say while smiling menacingly.

After the Student Council President explained the test, they had been given 5 minutes' notice to get warmed up before the official beginning of the test. After the 5 minutes, the test began. Group one went first, then followed every other group.

Students started going through the test like they do, and they all generally did well with it, given they had had a few failures, but nothing out of the ordinary. As time passed, it was group 4’s turn to go through the test, and James was the 2nd person in his group to do the test. At first, he was struggling a bit as he didn’t have much strength, as he mainly did stamina training, but as the test went o, he did better as it gradually went towards things he's used to doing (Running). After a while, James finished the test and got a rating of 6 from the teachers (The average).

James Belfork: “I’m done with the physical test, so the only thing left is the aptitude test. It looks like even tho I’m likely to embarrass myself with my low aptitude, I won’t be put into a bad class, as I’ve done alright with the physical test.” He mutters to himself while touching his chin.

James walks towards the part of the training ground where everyone is getting their aptitude evaluated and gets in line. The few people who went before James in the test got scores ranging from B - D rank, and all had average or slightly above average scores. When it was James's turn to get his aptitude evaluated, at first no one was paying him mind, as everyone expected something between B - D rank, as that had been what everyone had been gettig however, when James put his hand on the crystal they used for aptitude evaluation, the teacher who had to write his aptitude mark down gasped heavily.

Everyone who was lying around and chilling looked towards the teacher and James, thinking that maybe he had a good aptitude, so they all gathered around him. When they all gathered around him, they saw James’ aptitude. It was F, the worst of the worst, an actual 0/10 in the form of a person, but no one said anything; they all just walked away.

The teacher took note of James' Aptitude and put him in class 1-3 and told him to go stand in his class group before whats to be announced next (The are 5 total classes). James goes near where his classmates are with his head down, not paying much mind and just minding his own business. None of James' classmates talked to or even approached him for the remaining time of the tests.

[AFTER THE TEST]

Everyone was put into their respective classes, and those who failed had already left or gone to their room to get rest to retry the test the next day. When everyone was grouped, the Student Council President came to speak to them once more before letting them off for the day.

Student Council President: “Seeing how many of you there are, you’ve all done well to pass and get assigned a class. As of today you’re all officially students of Zell’s M&C Academy, I hope you do the school well and continue to grow and improve your skills over the years you’ll spend living here at the school, with that being said, starting tomorrow official classes begin, so you’re free to do as you please for the day, you’re all dismissed.” Facing all the students who passed the tests.

[TIME SKIP]

A few weeks have gone by since James was assigned to class 1-3, and all had been fine, except for the constant harassment he would receive from his classmate, Fae Harlow. Fae Harlow is what you’d call a trap. He looks and sounds like a girl but is a guy.

[FLASHBACK]

James was in class, set and minding his own.

James Inner Monologue: “Seems as if no one's going to talk to me, well I guess it's better than being bullied, but having no friends even tho it's my second life, is kinda depressing if i think about it too much.” Calmly looking outside the window at by hes seat.

Students walk in the class while loudly laughing and talking to each other.

Fae Harlow walks up to James.

Fae Harlow: “Hey, you.” Looking at James as he's seated.

James Belfork: “Hmm.” Looks up to see who’s calling him.

Far Harlow: “Aren’t you the rumoured F-rank in the school?’’ Look at James with malice.

James Belfork: “What about it?” He says, trying to make his voice more intimidating.

Fae Harlow: “Ohh, this’ll be fun.” He ominously grins before walking away to take his seat.

James Belfork: “...” Confused.

James Inner Monologue: “I hope that guy won’t be a problem; he seems like trouble, and I probably shouldn’t go near him.” Looking outside the window.

Moments later, a teacher by the name of Zoe Cleaver walks in the room, and talks to the class.

Zoe Cleaver: “Hello everyone, It's good to see that everyone's here and accounted for, so with that out of the way, we should probably do Introduction. I’ll go first, I’m Zoe Cleaver, all of you can refer to me as ‘Miss Cleaver’ and I’ll be your homeroom teacher from now on.” She says enthusiastically.

Zoe Cleaver: “Since you all know who I am now, I guess I’ll explain how things are going to work here at the school since it wasn't explained by the Student Council President.” Slightly irritated

Zoe Cleaver explains how the school works and what to do, along with how to challenge others and and general systems the school uses.

Zoe Cleaver: “With all that being said, homeroom period is about done, so you should all head to your first class.”

James and his classmates went to their first class, which was P.E. They went to the indoor training grounds at the school in order to start their first lesson.

When they eventually reached the training grounds, James and his classmates all stood in front of an arena, where their teacher had been before, explaining what would be going on.

P.E Teacher: “Everyone, gather round and sit down.” Voice projected loudly.

All the students did as their teacher had ordered them to do before they started doing any real work.

P.E Teacher: “Since your all first years, I assume that this will be the first time most of you do this type of training. Today, you’ll be doing some basic training against enhanced magic bots (Magic bots that can't be destroyed without having knowledge of magic control and being skilled in combat). Your objective is to use Sword Aura on the bots to try to do some damage to them. The person who does the most damage will get school issue coins, which can be used to buy things at the school or to bet/challenge people to duals.” He walks on the area platform with the enhanced magic bots.

P.E Teacher: “You all understand?” Voice projected loudly.

Class 1-3: “YES, SIR.” They scream.

P.E Teacher: “Okay, we’ll be going using the class list at random, everyone give it your best shot, and try to do good.” He takes the class list from behind he back and starts calling names.”

P.E Teacher: “Uh, Anya Aswood, your up first.” He slightly puts his list down.

Anya Aswood: “Yes, sir.” She walks up towards the enhanced magic bots.

James Inner Monologue: “If I remember correctly, she’s the most skilled in the class. She got a Physical rating of 7 and had a B-rank aptitude.”

Anya Aswood, while being in front of the enhanced magic bots, gets into a combat stance and waits for the P.E teacher to give the enhanced magic bots and he a signal to go and start fighting. Moments later, the P.E teacher blows a whistle he had in his pocket to signal that Anya Aswood should begin to fight the enhanced magic bots.
