Ramble of the Week #5 (Neutral Post) [Plants vs Zombies Replanted]

Ahh. My favorite game of all time is getting a remaster...
That cost me Rp 239,000

Don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining, I just felt weird because the original is currently at Rp 45,999, which, in my opinion, is a huge price jump.
As a big fan of the franchise, I will still pre-order it, but seeing it from the perspective of a newcomer, I don't see people buying it, especially South East Asians.

This remastered version feels huge for the franchise as a whole, which is why I felt kind of down when seeing the price. Again, I'm not complaining because I can literally buy it. I just can't see new people buying it when they see the huge price difference and what's new in the remastered version.

I guess we will see, yeah? It will be released on 23 October 2025, which is two months from now. I just hope it's worth its price. If it is, I would definitely shout this game out. I mean, come on, this is my childhood AND my favorite game of all time. I just hope I won't be disappointed.

I just got some news.
Apparently, there is a red flag. I heard from a source on YouTube that the game dev from the OG game didn't get invited to the meeting when the making of this was being made.
I'm legit scared, bro. Is it going to be good or not? It depends on the launch. It can be the resurrection or the final nail in the coffin.
