“—Ah, there it is! Shota-kun, look! Mount Fuji!”

Ryoko’s voice cut through the wind. Shota, still gripping the handlebars for dear life, glanced in the direction she pointed through the rearview mirror.

There it was—rising majestically against the clear blue sky, the perfectly shaped silhouette of Mount Fuji.

“Whoa… it’s real… I can actually see it. And on a bicycle, no less…”

They were now beyond the Kofu Minami Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. A heavily modified bicycle was rocketing down a road meant for cars—at utterly impossible speeds.

With disc brakes on the front wheel, anti-slip rotors on the rear, a hybrid aluminum-carbon frame, and a giant three-feet-wide pumpkin plush mounted to the handlebars.

“Shota-kun, you’ll want to go right up ahead~ This is the path fate has chosen for us♡”

The voice navigation system on Ryoko’s telekinetically-assisted bike? Ryoko’s actual voice.

“Please stop using your voice as the GPS! It makes everything sound ominous!”

“Fufu… but riding with you, Shota-kun, makes even Mount Fuji feel closer♡”

With her body pressed tightly to his back, Ryoko smiled, holding her wind-blown hair in place.

—That smile was straight-up cheating.

At that moment, a gust of wind blew hard. P-chan🎃 tilted sharply, but Ryoko immediately corrected their course with her telekinesis.

“Ryoko-senpai! I seriously can’t take this anymore!!”

Shota’s prerecorded voice blared automatically from the bike’s panic button.

Still, Mount Fuji remained where it was—silent, dignified, timeless.

Even racing down the expressway on a souped-up bike, the view felt strangely natural. Almost like they belonged there.

By the time the soft afternoon sun began to wrap around the streets of Kofu, P-chan🎃 finally exited the expressway.

Shota, still dressed as a black cat, clung to the handlebars, barely upright.

“Yumi! We’re back again~♡” Ryoko waved enthusiastically, and Yumi returned a subtle wave.

“So… where on earth did you find that pumpkin bike?”

“Oh, this is Pumpkin-chan🎃 No.1! A ride packed with Shota-kun’s love, sweat, and public humiliation♡”

Yumi stared in silence for a moment, then—

“…So basically, Shota’s still getting totally steamrolled by you. Some things never change.”

“Mhm! I’m raising the precious Shota-kun you developed into a proper husband♡”

“You look good, Shota. Black cat thing aside… I’m just not gonna ask.”

Shota scratched his cheek with a shy grin.

“Hey, sis… Me and Ryoko-senpai are doing okay… I think.”

The two were invited into Yumi’s home.

And as for P-chan🎃—she was left parked in Yumi’s garage, destined to become a legend… and a source of later tales.

Ryoko, wearing a coat borrowed from Yumi, still had her magical girl costume underneath.

On the train, a group of elementary schoolers gathered around:

Shota was instantly mobbed.

Beside him, Ryoko beamed.
