Chapter 19 : So I Entered The Elven Kingdom

I ask Jenin, one of the four human girls, "Where are you from?" She replies, "I am from Julon. It's a city of the Enhenor Kingdom." I look at Vaelya. Vaelya says, "It'll be no problem." Vaelya goes to the portal gatekeepers. And tells them the location. One of the gatekeepers writes something on the right corner of the portal. The portal turns red. Vaelya says, "Let's go." 

Emelin looks at me with fear. I say with a smile, "It's safe, sister. Let's go." We get on the carriage. Ferminaka drives the carriage into the portal. 

When we come out of the portal, we find ourselves in an open field. Jenin says, "How? We are in Julon that soon!" Emelin says, "Do you recognize this place?" Jenin says, "Yes. And my home is very nearby." Jenin gives direction to Ferminaka. We arrive in front of a house in a couple of minutes. 

Jenin, Vaelya, Emelin, and I get down from the carriage. I give a small bag to Jenin. "I know I can't undo the suffering you have gone through. Please accept these 100 gold coins and use them for yourselves. Jenin takes the bag. Her eyes are filled with tears. She says, "I'll forever be grateful to you, your majesty." I smile and say, "You don't have to. Now go to your family." Emelin bows and says, "I am sorry, Miss Jenin." Jenin says, "Don't apologize, Princess. I saw you trying to talk with Corlious for me, for all of us. Thank you, Princess." Emelin lowers her head and cries silently. 

Jenin knocks on the door. A middle-aged woman opens the door. She looks at Jenin and stands still with a shock. Jenin hugs her, saying, "Mother! Mother!" Her mother hugs her and starts crying and says, "I know you will be back, Jenin." Suddenly two men come running from inside. They are surprised too. Maybe they are Jenin's father and elder brother. 

I smile with satisfaction.

We get on the carriage and go to that field. Vaelya opens the portal gate again. We enter into the portal gate.

We repeat the process for the other 3 human women. After that it's time for 5 Elves. They all are from Elvira, the capital village of the Elven Kingdom. They are friends. They were exploring human kingdoms together. Almost one year ago, they were attacked by a group of bandits. The bandits sold them to Corlious. They have really been through hell. 

Demon and elf are polar opposites. One possesses the highest amount of dark magic energy; the other one possesses the highest amount of positive magic energy. 

I look at Vaelya and say, "You may fall into danger. You should stay here with Emelin, Ferminaka, and Melune." Vaelya says, "It's alright. They won't sense my magical energy because of the rings. So don't worry. But we shouldn't bring Emelin and Ferminaka." Emelin says, "But brother, I...." "No, sister. It may be dangerous. You stay here with Ferminaka and Melune. Ferminaka, look after her." Ferminaka says, "Yes, your majesty. But who will drive the carriage?" One of the five elves named Faelira hesitantly says, "I can." "She can." I say. Ferminaka says, "As you wish, your majesty." 

Vaelya tells the gatekeepers the location. They hesitate at first but open the portal gate eventually. We enter into the portal.

We come out of the portal and find ourselves on a road in the middle of a forest. Faelira says, "We are near the Elven Kingdom." I say, "Go ahead. Drive us there." 

After almost 15 minutes, we arrive in front of a huge gate. Two male Elves are guarding the gate. One of them asks, "Who are you? And who are inside the carriage?" Faelira replies, "I am Faelira Brightleaf. Tell my name to your general, Orinar Brightleaf." Elf guards look at each other. Then one of the elf guards opens the gate and runs inside. Faelira and their general share the same surname. Maybe she is his daughter.

We wait for almost 10 minutes. Then the guard returns with another elf. Anyone can say that he is the general just by looking at him. Orinar says with a tearful voice, "Sister!" Faelira comes down and hugs him. Faelira starts crying. 

We get down from the carriage. Orinar pulls away from the hug and holds her arms. Orinar says, "Where were you, sister? We were searching for you everywhere. No one could tell about you and your friends location. Father and Mother have been sick because they think they lost you. Where were you, sister? Where were you? There isn't a single place where I didn't search for you. No! There is! I couldn't search the demon realm. Maybe demons! Yes! Demons abducted you. Didn't they? The Sanctus Dominion told us that there might be a possibility that the demons took you and your friends into the demon realm. I've been told that they are evil. But that much of an evil! I swear on Great Tree, I'll avenge your pain by killing all those demons. I'll find out the way to the demon realm and kill all of them slowly and painfully."

Vaelya clenches her fist. I give her a sign to come down. I step forward and say, "You sure love to talk, respected general. Don't you want to listen to what your long-lost sister has to say?" 

Orinar looks at me with disturbed eyes and asks, "And you are?" I slightly bow and say, "I am Agni. It's nice to meet you, General Orinar." Orinar says with a serious voice, "Why are you with my sister and her friends? Are you the one who..." "Brother, He rescued me from Corlious, son of previous king Elinshor." Faelira says. Orinar almost shouts with shock, "What!" Faelira says, "Yes, brother. Bandits of the Sanctus Domain attacked us and sold us to Corlious. And he...." Faelira starts crying. Orinar asks, "What sister?" Faelira cries more. 

One of the female elves says, "We were there for more than 1 year. Then Hero Agni killed King Elinshor and Prince Corlious and rescued us from the prison." "THE PRISON? HE KEPT MY SISTER IN THE PRISON?" Orinar shouts. The female continues, "Corlious uses us for his...." "That's enough." I interrupt her words. Orinar shouts, "FOR HIS WHAT? WHAT WERE YOU SAYING?" I say, "Calm down, General. I think we should talk inside. I need to discuss with you and your king something important." 

Orinar closes his eyes and calms himself. Then open his and say, "Follow me to the capital. But the carriage stays here." I smile and say, "Sure, General Orinar."

We follow Orinar to the Elven Kingdom. 

Orinar arranges a carriage for us. We get on the carriage. And the carriage starts moving. I look outside through the window. 

The Elven Kingdom is completely different from human kingdoms and the demon realm. The Elven Kingdom is full of huge trees. Everywhere is filled with peaceful vibes. The houses of the elves are built into trees. Almost every house is high above the ground. Connected by bridges, which are made with ropes and wood. It's nearly evening. So, glowing lamps are hanging from branches. Some elves are looking at us curiously. They are a little bit taller than us, humans. The five female elves in the carriage are crying, for they have returned home after a long, painful year. 

After a few minutes, we arrive in front of the house of the Elven King. His house is similar to every other elf's house. There is nothing but one difference. There are two guards in front of the house with bows and arrows. 

We get down from the carriage. Orinar says, "Wait here. I'll inform my lord." Orinar goes to the guards and says something to them. The guards let him enter the house. After a while, Orinar returns with the Elven King. Seems like an ordinary young man. But his aura seems very noble. If he stands with thousands of elves, anyone can notice him in a few seconds. 

The Elven King looks at us for a moment. Then say something to the guards. One of them quickly runs somewhere. The Elven King is walking towards us. I say, "Kneel before him." Vaelya is hesitating. I give her a look. We kneel before the king. 

The Elven King comes in front of us and says, "Raise your heads." We stand up. He says, "Faelira, Illiya, Eline, Enriya, Lionia. I am glad to see that you returned home. Orinar told me what happened. But I want to hear from all of you. I know you just returned here. But please sit with us and tell us what happened in detail. I send messages to your families. They are coming here as we speak. If you don't want to, then we can talk later." Faelira says, "We will talk, my lord." The Elven King says, "Thank you, Faelira." 

He looks at me and says, "I am Thalorien Leafshade, King of Elafeyra, the Elven Kingdom." I bow and say, "I am Agni Roy. And she is Miss Vaelya, my closest friend. It's an honor to meet you, your majesty."
