The Sword of nothingness

It's been a few hours now, the creatures exalted out of the existence nothing remained.A party of several, royal nights, guild guides and guild officials seem to arrive at the spot, it's very close to their home, within a few minutes of a walk to be precise.
"So these creatures you fought, what were they like exactly , a detailed word would be appreciated if possible.. " one of the officials asked gently.. A few more arrived just after from the guild now with mana potions and first aids. "Was anyone hurt internally? Any magic damage?", one of the few asked which arrived asked attentively.. 
Where then Alicia replying shortly after, "A mana potion would be enough l, and nobody was hurt". 
"Soo as you described, the creatures were dark and emitting pulsating mana at irregular interval as to say in general?". 
"We never saw any of like that recently to be precise, yet still we need to stay cautious as always". 
"These things of unknown origin, passing through our town rings is really troublesome, more still could be at large".
"I don't mean to say that way, yet it was fortunate that you guys as an veteran party was still here, any other townsfolk even bad a child could have really made the situation even worse to say".
Luke replying shortly after, "Your right Velis, this is indeed a matter of concern to say, it still had my child in involved with it, he's good but still not as to the how's as much as us" 
Velis, the person standing just ahead of the hold a torch burning brightly, had already experienced such sort of stuff. He was one of the one who survived the the Churning in Cogmia back then.
A few years have passed but yet it still made him think of his past by the descriptions, which the family gave. Soon or later the guild ordered official orders under the king and increasing the security of the region and forming a advanced search party of +B Gold adventurers to investigate the matters further on and to exactly find whether where it all originated. 
The pop-up on the consignment and events board was posted for public. There layed the advanced search party's name and other officials helping this case. 
For a few days further no more creature were seen as to which, a good mystery of sorts seemed to have been created as after. 

It was morning, hard loud clashing of wooden swords was heard, It seems Kyle and Luke were sparring, there were sparks in between as the the match progressing forward. Alicia standing beside watching where everything lead to. 
They used magic as well, binding, flash and non leathals were allowed as they clashed with each other with all they had. 
A few minutes passed, the clashing was now less obvious, gasping was heard more. "Okay, okay guys it's enough!!! For today, you guys have practically temporary blinded each other, just stop... it won't end like this". 
"Sooo who wants to hit the lunch, today's special buttered up roasted geese!".  Luke replying shortly after,"Hmm yes we should but Kyle you have a lot of mana left right, show me!" 
Kyle answering softly in question "Uhh what should I show you?" 
"Ahhh don't be like that, show that ultimate move you casted that day, the dark spell you used, I guess your practicing a lot with Alicia lately, you now able to craft your own spells leaving me behind.." Luke sadly speaking slowly looking downwards.. 
"Ahhh don't be sad, it just on the spot that day I felt something weird inside me, what helped  me create that spell out of nowhere". 
"Soo can you CaST It OR nOT?? I WaNnA SeE iT" Luke replied being weird... 
"Ahh so fatherly.." Alicia slowly murmured to herself... 
Kyle laughing out out agreeing to the request as they moved towards a rather free space behind their home, an empty yard with nothing but weeds growing around. A large boulder engulfed partially in mud stood there with sword marks all over. 
"Is this the boulder you practiced on when you were youg dad?". Kyle cried, 
"Hmmm yeah when we moved here I 0racticed a lot on it now it's all it's left of it, it was a lot higher than me before". Luke replied.. 
"I'll just use this one". 
Alicia stood behind, looking partially excited and concerned... 
DARKNESS O DARKNESS, 
GATHER WITHIN ME, 
FULL OF FUSION, 
AS I TAKE IT IN MY MIND, 
LET IT CLEAVE THROUGH PASSING AHEAD. 
A swirl of darkfire emerged glowing yet still brightly in the daylight, as it gathered around Kyle's hand, it soon swirled violently as the energy gathered within.. 
Less than a minute passed, the swirl collapsed into its self now nothing but a dark rod floating in front of Kyle's hand remained... 
It seemed strange glowing glowing violet as the caster seemed puzzled as well, As Kyle knew all the energy he conjured couldn't be negated but passed on, where then improvising, Kyle cased another verse to let it free. 
A WORK OF ART IS WHAT I CALL, 
WHO THY LIE WITHIN MY BOUNDS, 
GRANT ME THIS WISH I CALLED YOU UPON, 
SEIR THROUGH THE FRONT AS I Grant YOU THY WITHIN...! 
The illsome rod which Kyle had casted soon converged tuning and shaping into a sword of darkness, The atmosphere seemed eeire as the mana flow drifted, the daylight which a while ago shined yet so brightly now coerced into a cold dark blue. 
Alicia was now definitely concerned to what this boy did, it was yet not now of what was once was called mana spell casting at that time but turned into something far different than that. 
"Release the spell of you bounds as fast as possible Kyle, this is not what we wanted to see.." Alicia cried helplessly
Kyle seemed to be in a trance, critically thinking what was going on as he moved his hands changing the trejectory of the spell to out in the open, pointed outwards the town as finishing his cast. 
The sword engulfed in darkness soon took a lift with absolute no sound, the dampening was yet felt. Vibrations stronger as they seemed. 
With a flick, not faster that eyes close the sword passed out through the place, the wind had returned the sound as well, there was no clink which was common for conjuring mana sorcery as soon after a humongous Shockwave which they felt just a few seconds after, followed by a loud sound which blanked in between, it was otherworldly to heard not of the realms as it seemed.
The nothingness then converged as another smaller Shockwave they felt just after... The birds cowering in fear taking flight and nearby horse rambling was heard as well. 
The ground vibrated the whole time now seemed to have stopped just after. Kyle stood there posing like he was before firing, in shock he looked like a stone statue itself. Luke as well stood beside, open mouthedly looked at Alicia, as she looked at Kyle. 

All three of them seemed to be in a trance.
