Chapter 15: New Party? New Problem

After the incident, Shion left, going who knows where. In the afternoon, I, Leonix, carried on with my usual activities and returned to the Guild Party to meet the three of them and discuss who wanted to join our party.

"Let's see who wants to join our party," Seraphine said, her face full of hope.

We all opened the recruitment notice boxes, but not a single letter had been sent. Everyone was silent, frozen like statues, accepting the bitter reality.

"It seems my dream of forming a party will never come true," Seraphine said, resigned.

"Hey, don't say that! Don't give up, there must be another way!" Layla tried to cheer her up.

Just then, Shion reappeared in front of us, walking with a cold and firm gaze.

"I'm ready to join this party," she said, shocking all of us. "But, I have one condition: I will continuously watch Leon without stopping."

Seraphine was very happy and overjoyed. Layla was the same. Meanwhile, I could only resign myself to fate. The rival I considered my archenemy was now in the same party as me.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Are you serious? I'm in a party with the person who tried to kill me yesterday? What is this?" I muttered, feeling pressured.

"At least I can keep an eye on you, Leon. If you try to destroy humanity or hurt them, my sword will be the one to cut you down," Shion replied, brandishing her sword.

Meanwhile, Sera, the guild master, asked what name we wanted for our party. We all fell silent, thinking hard. I then remembered a party I respected from my old world, which I had once fought with great honor.

"How about The Radiant Six?" I suggested.

"The Radiant Six? That's a great idea, Leon!" Seraphine exclaimed happily.

"Yeah, I like that name too," Layla nodded in agreement.

Shion remained silent, but she didn't object. It turned out she also remembered that the name was a party from her old world.

"Alright. Your party name is The Radiant Six! Congratulations, Seraphine. Your dream has finally come true!" Sera said.

And that was the beginning of The Radiant Six. The party now consisted of four core members:

Layla

Shion

Meanwhile, outside the guild, someone appeared. A young woman with short pink hair, a sweet smile, and cunning purple eyes. She saw the party recruitment notice, which was now named The Radiant Six.

"I finally found you, my Prince... and Miss Hero... I've been waiting for you for a long time," the woman whispered. Her voice was distant yet so threatening, making Leonix and Shion, who were inside the guild, feel a powerful sense of danger. They both knew they would have to cooperate to find out who this mysterious person was.
