Prolouge- year 19,756 ID (Imperial Date), Tallah I

The fall came faster than we expected, no one could have expected it, I mean an empire as large as Atla could never fall, right? turns out I was wrong. 

    The Atlan empire started with Emperor Varin, he united all the scattered colonial companies creating the empire in 4568 CE. for 75 years he ruled as a kind and benevolent leader, unfortunately like everyone else he was mortal, he died in year 075 ID. his grandson Seran took over as emperor, he believed that the outer systems were not watched as closely as they should have been, he put restrictions on those system while relaxing on the inner systems. The people of the outer belt felt upset by this but did not did not rebel. 600 years later the Empress Centaurus completely tightened down on the outer belt after a mass murderer fled to one of the uninhibited systems.

     This led to the era of war. From ID 680-980 the outer belt fought, and won. the rebels walked into the city of Atlana with the citizens thinking they would all be massacred instead the rebels ordered all the cooks home and cooked a feast for all the counsel members and servants. Then They delivered enough food to each household to feed a family of 8. So the era of peace began. 

      Then in ID 17,000 the blue arm ( a spiral of the galaxy) split off to form its own empire. This did not prove an issue until 18,500 when the Blue Arm Collective tried to take some of the systems in the red arm, this started a yearlong war with the Atlan Empire winning.

    In 19,740 princess Cleara was born, in 19,756 she had to take control of the throne at just 16 when the rest of her family was killed at the same time at a trip, the following 500 years would be the most important of years in the history of the Empire.
