Encounter

The distant sound of gunfire and explosions rang throughout the battlefield, an endless war with no purpose. War started simply to feed the wants for destruction. Within the rubble of a village marked for death, laid Chiyo Hayashi. A young girl who witnessed everything and everyone she ever loved destroyed and murdered. 

"I hate them all, I wish everyone would die." 

She whispered to herself as she took her final breaths.

"You have lived a life that you did not deserve child"

An unfamiliar voice spoke from an unknown place. As Chiyo opened her eyes, all that surrounded her was a vast void that made her skin crawl. The emptiness that was around her was almost suffocating. 

"This place that surrounds you, was created from the darkness that you hold in your heart. There's much hatred within you, why might that be?"

Chiyo looked around, trying to identify the source of this mysterious voice. 

"Before I answer any of your questions, who are you, and why am I here?" She asked with slight attitude.

The voice sighed in annoyance before answering, "I am the master of this realm I suppose... you may address me as Anko"

"Anko..." Chiyo thought to herself for a moment. "Do you have a physical form I can see, or will I continue speaking to nothing?"

"Very well..." A small light began to appear in front of Chiyo, as a woman with long black wings wearing a dark blue dress stood emotionless in front of a confused Chiyo. "I will reincarnate you into a random world, I cannot give you details of this world as it is random selection."

"How are you going to send me to another world, but you don't know where? Isn't that your entire responsibility to know where you send someone?" Chiyo asked with a puzzled expression

Anko glared at Chiyo before raising her voice: "That is true, but I simply do not care about what happens to someone with as dark of a soul as you. You're mind is fueled by hatred and rage, your past is none of my concern. Therefore, I do not care about what happens to you after your reincarnation."

"What kind of goddess are you then?! You should care about these kind of things! It's not my damn fault that my life was hell before I died, so you have no right to judge me on the emotions that are in my heart." Chiyo exclaimed angrily.

"Enjoy your next life child, I pray that you find your way and learn from your past." Anko said before beginning a ritual to send her off.

"Wait! I'm not done talking, I have more questi-" 

Before Chiyo could finish her sentence, as the area around her quickly shifted before knocking her unconscious. When she finally opened her eyes, a vast forest was behind her, and an open field to the front. 

"Another world..." Chiyo mumbled as she took in the new environment. As she looked around, a town could be seen from across the field. "I can't believe that stupid goddess sent me here with no information about this place... but I should probably head to the that town to try to learn about this world." She began the short journey the town with the purpose of recon.

After what seemed like an eternity of walking, Chiyo eventually arrived at the town gates. 

"Where's your card?" A guard wearing medieval like armor towered above over her.

"Card? What are you talking about?" The guard immediately put his hand on his weapon. "Wait!!" she said in a panicked voice. "What kind of card do I need? I'm new to this area."

The guard eyed her for a moment before reluctantly relaxing his stance. "Very well... I will allow you to enter, but you will be heavily monitored and are required to immediately register with the guild, in order to receive your card. Understand?"

Chiyo nodded quickly, "Yes! Yes! I understand, just one question... where is the guild in this town?"

He pointed down the main roadway, "If you continue down the main road, you will see a large building with a clock embedded into the tower." The guard scratched his head for a second, trying to remember any other information to provide. "Ah, yes one more thing young lady, during your registration with the guild, you will undergo a complete examination in order to determine who you are."

"Okay, thank you, I'll be on my way then." With that, Chiyo overcame her first barrier in this new world. Walking through the town, she noticed the peculiar architecture that the buildings had. "I've never seen buildings designed like this before... it's almost futuristic." People of the town looked at Chiyo awkwardly, observing her unusual appearance. 

"Why is everyone looking at me like that... it's almost how those villains in my last life looked." She thought to herself, becoming increasingly uncomfortable with each step she took. As she entered the guild, she was greeted with many different species. "So there's demihumans, elves, and what looks like dwarfs here... I wonder what other species this world has." She approached the front desk, and was greeted by a older human woman. 

"Greetings, I haven't seen you here before."

"I'm new to this area, I would like to register here."

The woman reached down under the desk, and pulled out a board and a small silver palate. "That's great! In order to begin the registration process, please fill out this form with your name. Then this device will then analyze your DNA to provide us with the necessary information. This will allow us to know rather or not you are a threat to us and the surrounding towns or not." 

Chiyo silently filled out the form, and provided a sample of her DNA. After a few minutes of waiting on the device to complete the analysis, the information hovered above it in a holographic nature.

Anko watched the holographic display, "is that good?"

Before the receptionist could reply, a loud ruckus was stirring in a corner of the building, a group humans were cornering an elf. 

"You don't belong here, go back to where you came from elf" One of the men said as the other men stood behind him.

Witnessing this, Chiyo instantly remembered the life she lived before, the constant hatred and hostility people showed towards her. The memories fueling the hatred within her, as she began moving on her own towards the group of men.

"Leave her alone you scumbags!" Chiyo yelled.

The group turned around, anger in their eyes, "What did you just say you little brat?" One yelled as they all began to approach her.

Chiyo stood her ground as she retorted, "I said leave her alone! What gives scum like you the right to harass someone just because they look different?"

"I've heard enough out of you." The men rushed her with full intentions of harm. But, before they got to her, they suddenly found themselves bound and unable to move. 

"What the hell?" "I can't move anything!" the men said as they began to panic. And at the front of it all, was Chiyo steadily holding her hand towards them, as she said one thing...

"I will never let people like you survive ever again."

As she slowly began to close her hand into a fist, the men who were bound began to scream in agony, as they were forcefully pushed into the ground. The surrounding adventurers looked in horror as the gruesome sounds of cracking echoed throughout the air, followed by complete silence as people stared in horror. 

Chiyo turned back to the receptionist as if nothing happened, before asking, "Anyway, is my analysis good?"

The woman was quiet for a moment before turning towards the still visible display. Only seeing the bottom text: **Affiliation: Evil** still scarred by the scene that unfolded in front of her, "Y-You-"

"Yes I killed them, because they were causing harm. People who act like that don't deserve to live" Chiyo said, showing no emotion.

The woman hesitantly gave her the card that will allow her access before saying: "Begone... you murderer!"

She couldn't understand why the people around her were so upset with the actions she took. In her mind, the wrong needed to be punished by any means necessary.

[One Week Later]

Chiyo found herself isolating herself from people, staying in an inn she rented. An angry crowd of adventures demanding for her arrest outside. "Kill her! She's a murderer! She's a danger to this city!" 

Each complaint that she was able to hear through the windows, angered her further. "If you don't see what I'm trying to do, you should all just die..." she thought to herself as her thoughts kept consuming her.

"I will free this world from the ignorance they have. If they can't see that I'm saving them from the evil in this world, then they are no better than the ones that commit these evil acts. In that case, they can all die with them."
