Chapter 23 : So I entered A Nest of Evil

I call out Ferminaka. Ferminaka arrives. I tell her to make two dresses before evening. I give her a little bit of my imagination. She takes necessary measurements from me and Vaelya. Then leaves quickly. 

In the evening, Ferminaka comes to me with two dresses. I say, "Thank you, Ferminaka. That is very quick." Ferminaka says, "I didn't make it alone. 10 royal tailors helped me." I say, "I'll make sure you all get rewarded." Ferminaka says, "Thank you, your majesty. Try the dress and let me know if it has any issues." I say, "I'll. Thank you, Ferminaka." Ferminaka bows and leaves.

I put my new dress on my bed and carry Vaelya's dress to her room. 

I knock on Vaelya's door. Vaelya says from inside, "Who is it?" I say, "It's me, Princess Vaelya." She says quickly, "Coming." She opens the door. I give her the dress. She says, "That was fast." I say, "Yes. Try it on. Let's see if it fits." She says with a playful smirk, "You want to come in while I try this dress?" I say with stuttering, "Wha...What are you saying!" I quickly walk towards my room. She is laughing behind me. That was not funny.

I come to my room and change into my new dress. I look at the mirror and am surprised. All-black dresses really suit me. 

Full-sleeve black top with hoodie. There is also an option to cover my lower face with a black mask. Black pants with soft-soled boots, which don't make any sounds. Black gloves. 

Well, I am more than satisfied. 

Suddenly someone knocks on the door. "May I come in, Hero Agni?" Vaelya asks. I open the door and get surprised. Vaelya is wearing all black. Everything is similar to mine. But she is looking way too beautiful. 

Vaelya hesitantly says, "Are you alright, Hero Agni?" I come to my senses and say, "Of course. Sorry. You are looking beautiful, by the way." Vaelya smiles with shyness and says, "You are not bad yourself." I say, "Is that so?" She smiles and says, "That is so."

Vaelya opens up a portal. We enter into the portal. And we arrive at the demon realm. Vaelya tells the gatekeepers about Elora Kingdom's location. And they create a link to there. We cover our lower face with the attached mask and enter into the portal.

We find ourselves a place between the palace and the auction house. An auction house where slaves can be bought. They sure did normalize slave trading. 

Vaelya says, "So what's the plan, Hero Agni?" I smirk.

There are only two guards at the main gate of the auction house. I walk towards them. They noticed me from far and shout, "Who are you?" I reply in a normal voice, "Why so hurry? Let me get a bit closer." One of the guards says, "What did you just say?" I say, "I don't want to shout; let me come closer." Another guard shouts, "We can't hear you. Speak up." 

When I reach almost 15 feet from them, I stop. I bent down and pretend to put something on the ground. One of them says, "Hey, what is that?" I stand tall and smirk at them. Then turn around and run into the dark. One of the guards says, "Hey, get back here!" I don't know why people make demands like that; there is a little chance that the people before you don't even listen to you. I blend in shadow and watch them. 

They hesitate for a moment. Then they point their spear to that spot and walk towards it carefully. It's way too funny. 

When they get a bit closer, Vaelya comes from behind and hits their necks one by one with a karate chop. Their senseless bodies fall on the ground. 

Vaelya says, "So this is a karate chop?" I say, "Yes. And I think you nailed it perfectly. Though I have doubts about their necks." Vaelya says, "By the way, Hero Agni. You do remember you have super speed? Then why did you need this plan at all?" I become a stone. Actually, I don't remember. I hesitantly say, "I just wanted to reach you that move, Princess Vaelya." Vaelya says, "Is that so?" I reply, "That is so. Now let's go." Vaelya says, "Yes. Follow me." I say, "Aye Aye, Ma'am." Vaelya asks, "What's that mean?" I pause for a moment and say, "I don't know."

We enter into the auction house. The house's ceiling is much higher than usual. We walk a little bit in the hallway. We notice a door on the left. The door is very decorated. I say, "Maybe this is the room where the auction happens." Vaelya says, "Seems like it." We open the door and enter into the room.

There is a stage at the corner of the room. And the rest of the space is filled with chairs. Yes. Here auction happens. We search for any doors or secret passages but can't find any. I say, "Let's check other rooms." We leave the room and start walking in the hallway again.

Suddenly Vaelya whispers, "I hear footsteps coming this way." We quickly hide behind a pillar. Vaelya takes a peek and whispers, "Two men are coming this way. Maybe they are inside guards." I whisper, "Listen, they work here just to feed their family. They are not evil like Norheim. So, don't hurt them unnecessarily." Vaelya says, "Fine. If you say so." 

They are talking with each other. When they get closer, we can clearly hear their conversation. 

- "Yes, totally. Hey, did you see the new orc girl?"

- "Yes, yes. Very hot! If I had money right now, I would've bought it."

- "I was saving money for something like that one. I'll tell Master Norheim that I want to buy it."

- "Hey! What about me!"

- "You bought that lizard, girl."

- "Now that I think about it, that is not bad as a slave."

- "I know, right?"

My skin is burning with rage. Vaelya looks at me and whispers, "Yes! They work here just to feed their family." I go behind them. I hold their heads with my two hands and slam them hard on the wall. 

I say, "Let's go." Vaelya doesn't say anything. We start walking.

After walking for a moment, we see a large door. Vaelya says, "Be careful; I can sense many people inside." I nod.

I slowly open the door. This wonderful door makes cracking sounds while opening. When I fully open the door, I see almost 15 men with different types of weapons looking at us. 

I sigh. So much for being quiet. Vaelya says, "Let's start cleaning." I say, "Agreed." 

We charge at them. They are very slow for us. They somewhat try to use their weapons, but our punches and kicks landing on their vital spots even before that. In a few minutes, all of them are lying on the ground. 

Vaelya points at a door at the corner of the room and says, "That room in front of us may be the storeroom." I say, "Let's go." We kick the door open.

This room is filled with many items. Swords, masks, bows, magical stones, jewelry, etc. I say, "If I am not mistaken, all of this is either from robbery or stolen." Vaelya says, "You are not mistaken. They definitely are."

We search the room a bit and find stairs to go down. Vaelya says, "So, that's it. All the slaves are down...." 

- "So there you are!"

We turn around. A man with a long sword is standing at the door. The man says with a smile, "Why so hurry? Play with me for a while." I say, "Alright then, go outside of the auction house and count to 200. We will hide here." The man says, "Hide-and-seek is boring. It's a play about who's going to die first." 

Before I can say anything, he rushes towards us and swings his sword from the right. He is quite fast. Vaelya is standing at my right. She didn't even see him move. I hold her neck and duck with her to dodge the sword. After dodging the swing, I kick hard on his chest. He pushed back a bit too far. He smiles at me.

Vaelya says, "Thanks, Hero Agni. He is very fast." I keep my focus on him and say, "And he swung that heavy sword like a dry stick. Stand back. Let me handle him." Vaelya steps back and says, "Be careful, Hero Agni." 

The man says with a smile, "You are not half bad, Boy. Let's have some fun, you and me!" I clench my fists and raise them in front of my face. I say, "I don't like the way you say it. Let's get this over with."
