Megale's Communion

[Morning\\Vale]

Today was the day, a light cloudy atmosphere with cold windy weather for a side. Everything was going as perfectly as Luke planned, as today being their day of taking a nice quest and teaching Kyle even more basics as well as good tips and tricks about adventuring.

As they planned a day earlier the day after tomorrow being the day Luke must report to the king as per the letter, there was no other great day than this one to help Kyle out and spend some quality time with his beautiful wife and cute precious son.

As Luke thought of these things, naturally he would also think about taking on quests from the merchant's guild or adventurer's guild who all they know so much, and have already experienced working with them as how formulating about the papers generally goes how every acceptance, a processing time is required and general rules about do's and don'ts about the guild and its regulations. This was the boring stuff for Luke as well, but what needs to be done, majority-ly (majorly) needs to be done.

As for today tho, it was different a little different that usual, as he took them and started walking through downtown, leaving major roads and joining, side way alleys through the dark streets as of now it was still morning, yet the old wooden highly likely collapsable buildings with clouds gathered around, which likely created the darkened atmosphere which rather felt eerie.

"Sooo are we there yet, where are we going by the way?, it's seems like a very sad place...",

Kyle cried out in a questioning manner..

The atmosphere seemed to have transitioned a lot now, as they took a flight of stair downwards into a walled off zone, not a single soul was heard. The place was rather still than silent, seemed like not many often roam these places, as the three ended up with a wall in front of them, Kyle and Alicia thought about what could this mean, that is her husband and Kyle father sometimes really stupid as he really looks like and just act sharp as on a few days or is he really sharp and acts stupid on some days....

As they thought about it the paradox seemed to soon find an answer, but not long after that they yet again thought the paradox would continue as Luke walked forward a block below his left leg sank below, a complex intricate machanical intervention of sounds arranged themselves as they emitted themselves into the nearby surroundings, as both of the son and the mother remained there still blabbered mouthed, as soon the floor under their legs slipped, as they fell into an abyss of darkness as they thought.

They were still falling, it's been a few seconds now and even then they were falling, Kyle wondering how deep this the place went and how it was built like this, whereas the Alicia on the other hand panicked crazy enough, not thinking straight finding a right place to land but then to how with such speed no magic would help cast beneficial.

Luke air sat there like a natural, folding his legs tucked tight spoke just nothing having a few gazes around and remaining silent, as all of them soon realized now, this short but panicked traveling method might end as the ground was slowing showing itself from below as coming close at a far lethal rate, as panicking soon stopped, as the they slowly stopped falling as they reached the bottom the deceleration returned to zero, making them sit still on the mossy cobblestone slabs just below.

As they stood still gazing around, the place was rather moist, and lingering with with humid spirits as it seemed, Kyle observed was yet different, as the place yet being so deficit of population yet had such rich mana reserves as Kyle could observe. The space just floated with raw unrefined mana unmoved, unbothered as if nobody ever used it as well just fresh as it was created just a few hours ago.

The characteristics yet started to seem so puzzling, considering the place, it was surprisingly not quiet dark as they felt, there were lanterns placed just on the sides on regular intervals, paving a path forward to move ahead.

As soon started walking, Kyle gazed at Luke, his face didn't show any kind of distress or other symptoms, while Alicia showed almost every concern there was.

"Well, Luke are you listening?, I know that we already visited this place a while ago, but still, the atmosphere never seemed to settle down for me, always so creeping, damp and silent..", Alicia talked slowly, looking very concerned and uncanny by the atmosphere holding the lash on Luke's bag as they moved forward.

Kyle was yet so interested, there was no space for an inch of concern or fright in the boy's head as it seemed to be full of why and how's and when's as he seemed to gaze each corner of the place as they soon reached a hallway........

It was humongous, the place had even more lighting and the most prayed thing Alicia wanted was people, other people, not normal yet intelligent being which seem to have no harm. A sigh of relief was seen of Alicia's face as she grasped for fresh air, feeling a lot better, the hallway seemed to be a public entrance, an entrance to a hidden place full of myestries yet so much to it.

The main hall seemed to have a various amounts of branching and tributaries converging as it seemed one of them is from which these three arose.

The hallway seemed to a connecting point for a mainstream, official underground communion of sorts, it had various different ways to enter and exit, with counters and doors all over place making it look like a giant scale maze of sorts.

"Well, we'll, Kyle its never too late, I think I should introduce to to this grand place, your mother and I have been keeping hidden from you for soo long,...." Luke slowly looking at Kyle moving backwards as he tried to somehow capture the place just right behind the frame with him in it as Kyle could see as he cried to welcome and introduce the place.

But soon as it started, Kyle interrupted in between, gathering and observing so much data as he moved along with them, the pieces started to link together as faster as that as it seemed,

"Ohhh is this the place!!??? The place in those Norten discovere's guide about the Hidden guild held responsible for almost everything, every national affair, relating politics, magic and covert operations?

Is this the Vale's hidden Communion of Megale?"

Luke sighed hard this time," I should have guess you would know about this, we were approaching so steadily, and yet didn't speak a word while I lead to guys hear to well come, but it was interrupted, it's sad but yes it is The Great Underground Communion of Megale, well it's not hidden or anything but yeah it's hard to reach and they have pretty strict regulations and policies so very few bother as their barr seemed to be very high".

Luke again talking quietly, "we should get going, we need to take a quest from Roleig, he was a really nice guy now only his spirit remains here still serving the communion as it seems".
