You only ever realize you're having a pivotal, life altering moment after the moment's passed. But it scarred every passenger, even if they wouldn't realize it in the years to come. The regal aura was not lost to their sleeping sixth sense when she had boarded that plane. They all felt something. They all heard an inner voice, "This woman's path is about to change. Watch her. Protect her." But they had all chosen to disobey that nagging feeling in favor of the idle time wasters such as food, drinks, books and any other form of escapism that would ease the tension in their muscles, the tickling sensation of greatness at the back of their necks. But how could they have known this woman would be taken into her nightmare? How could they know how powerful Destiny truly was? But in the grand scheme of things it would be eighteen year old Chise Nakamura, who would end up suffering the most immediate consequences in the disappearance of Casterline.

Haru and Harumi most assuredly weren't exempt from the pain of loss. And Katlyn would forever regret those six years of silence. Yet here they all sat in separate interrogation rooms, speaking with American Police. Normally, the husband would be prime suspect material but a woman vanishing mid-flight with no trace of evidence forced the spotlight directly onto our sweet, innocent Pop Idol in training. And the onslaught of hate, the swarms of media vultures circling her home for a juicy story? They would only destroy her more and more each day until she found herself seeking refuge in a hospital ward, feelings of guilt and shame swallowing her up like Dark Magic.
