[CONTINUATION]

(SCENE)

Rep#1: “James Belfork and Student#10 are engaged in a heated battle as the first participants of The Grand Spellblade Showcase.

Student#10 had used magic to throw a fireball at James Belfork.

James Belfork narrowly managed to dodge the attack and went on the defensive.

Student#10 sees James going the the defensive and desires to use it as an opportunity to get further away from James and cast more ranged magic. While Student#10 uses this chance to get further away from James.

James sees it as a chance to recover for a little bit before going to attack Student#10 again.

Student#10 eventually gets a decent bit away from James and starts using magic again.

Student#10 holds both his hands up and starts to cast an incantation.

Student#10: "From the great wellspring of fire and flame, a small spark to me that will light one's day. By my will and those around, I command you to become a piercing flame. On my mark, fly true and find your target! FIRE ARROW!”

Student#10 casts ‘Fire arrow’and aims it at James.

James tries to defend the attack but gets scourged in the process, but somehow manages to stay conscious and not get knocked out of the arena.

Student#10 is exhausted from casting their last attack.

James, while seeing that Student#10 is tired, then proceeds to go in for the attack.

Little did James know, Student#10 was actually acting and wasn't actually that tired.

When James went into close enough range of Student#10 and tried to attack them.

Student#10 had used magic to attack James at point-blank range.

(In the moments leading up to James attacking again, Student#10 had been casting another spell that they then used when James was in proximity to them.)

James was hit by the spell ‘Flame Blast’ and subsequently got blown out of the arena because of Student#10’s attack.

(The crowd goes wild after the first contestant has been taken out of the event.)

Rep#1: “And with that, folks, James Belfork from Zells M&C academy has lost the first round by ring-out! Student#10 from Northern Arcane Institute has won the first round and will be moving ahead in the one vs one portion of the showcase!”

James Belfork, after losing the first round of the competition, decided to leave the general arena quickly and go to the medical station, so he could recover from his injuries.

While James was going to the medical station, the person who was announcing what had been going on for the showcase had started talking about those of who would be going up next for the individual rounds.

(MEANWHILE)

James made it to the medical station and started to get his injuries taken care of.

As James was getting treated with magic by the nurse who had been there. Clover made it to the medical station so she could talk to James about how the rest of the showcase is going.

(SCENE)

Clover walks towards the area where the medical station is, passing by a few people from her class as she does so.

Clover eventually gets to the door of the medical station after her walk there and knocks on the door.

The nurse who's treating James at the medical station tells Clover to come in.

(James was put under a sleep spell so they could heal him without him feeling the pain that's inflicted when healing magic is used.)

The nurse asks if anything is wrong, as people normally only go to the medical station when they've been injured.

Clover tells the nurse that nothing is wrong and that she just wants to talk to James.

The nurse tells Clover that she'll have to wait until after his injuries are treated and that it will take a bit more time than usual, as he has very severe burns from the fight he just had with Student#10.

Clover nods at the nurse and asks where she can wait for him.

The nurse tells Clover that she can wait outside and that she'll call her in when she's done treating James' injuries.

Clover acknowledges what the nurse says and tells her that she'll be waiting outside for her (the nurse) to call her (Clover) into the room so she can speak with James.

Clover goes outside and proceeds to wait to be called in so she can talk to James.

When Clover leaves the room and starts waiting outside. The nurse proceeds to continue healing James' injuries with the use of healing magic.

(A FEW MINUTES LATER)

The nurse finishes healing James and wakes him up using another spell that can wake people up without any major side effects of with its use.

James wakes up and is old enough to lie in bed for a while and not to strain himself (healing magic only recovers damage done outside of the body, and can't recover things like stamina and fatigue).

James says thanks to the nurse and continues lying in bed after waking up.

The nurse then proceeds to go to the door and call Clover into the room.

Clover enters the room after being called by the nurse and goes to sit down by James's bed.

James looks up at Clover and asks her why she's there.

Clover tells James that she's the to see if he's okay and also tell him what's going on with the rest of the showcase.

James expresses his thanks at the fact that she went to check up on him and asks her what's going on with the rest of the showcase now that he's been knocked out of the individual matches.

Clover tells James that the next people up are one of their classmates and another student from Northern Arcane Institute.

James acknowledges what Clover says and asks her how the match was going for them.

Clover tells James that so far the match had been in their classmates' favour, and it looked likely that they were going to win the second round.

Clover and James proceeded to talk for a while longer.

James eventually recovered most of his energy and asked Clover to call the nurse so he could get discharged from the medical station and go watch the showcase, where those who had been taken out of the competition could watch.

Clover called the nurse and she (The nurse) discharged James from the medical station.

James got out of bed after being discharged and went somewhere so he could get a change of clothes.

Clover went back to where their class had been while James had gotten a change of clothes.

James got to a place where he could easily get a change of clothes and changed his clothes there before going to the stands where he could watch the rest of the showcase.

While James was going to the stands to watch the showcase, he ran into one of his classmates.

It was Student#13.

James looked at Student#13 as he was walking to the stands and tried to go past him.

Student#13 saw James trying to pass him, then proceeded to stop him.

James asked Student#13 why he stopped him, and Student#13 said that he didn't have the right to ask, then proceeded to give James a liver punch.

James was taken aback and asked Student#13 why he had been doing to him.

Student#13 didn't respond and continued to assault James.

James tried to retaliate, but couldn't do anything as he wasn't strong enough.

While James continued to get assaulted, Clover eventually showed up cause she wanted to check on James.

Student#13 saw Clover before she was close enough to catch on to what was happening to James, then left James alone for a second.

Student#13 told James that a disgrace and weak b**tch like him didn't deserve to live and that he should k*ll himself, amongst other semi-harsh things. Before leaving, Student#13 also told James not to speak about what he did to him or that he'd k*ll him (James) himself and painfully at that.

James, while barely being able to stand and with his face being bruised, told Student#13 he wouldn't tell anyone.

Student#13 then left the scene before Clover arrived.

James thought to himself and asked why he had been going through so much when he didn't even do anything to anyone.

(SECONDS LATER)

Clover got in viewing distance to where James had been and saw that he had been clenching he's gut.

Clover the proceeded to run towards James to see what had been wrong.

When Clover got to James, she asked him what had happened and why he's face had been bruised.

James barely saw Clover as she tried to see how badly he was injured.

James just told Clover that nothing had happened and that he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Clover's Inner Monologue: ‘’These types of injuries can’t be caused by just ‘being at the wrong place at the wrong time,’ someone did this to him on purpose.” She thought in worry.

Clover told James that she believed him and said that he should get himself treated so his wounds don't become scars.

(SOME TIME LATER)

After James got his wound treated a second time, he successfully made it to the stands without anyone beating him up.

At the stands, he finds his seat and starts watching the second half of the showcase.

A few rounds go by, with nothing really remarkable or interesting going by, but James still stays in the stands so he can watch Clovers' individual round before heading back to continue he's training for the day.

(SCENE)

Rep#1: “Well, folks, it's about time we wrap up the showcase for today, so let's start the final round for today!”

Rep#1: “Coming from Zells M&C academy, we have a member of the great Winslow family! Clover Winslow! And coming from Northern Arcane Institute, we have Student#16!”

Rep#1: “Without further ado, folks, let the final round for today BEGIN!”

(SCENE)

The last round of the showcase for the day officially kicks off.

Student#16 is the first one to attack and starts casting their incantations so they can use their ranged fire and earth magic.

Clover also starts casting her incantations so she can use her wind and water magic for ranged attacks.

As the two participants are carrying their spells, they continue to move around and keep their distance so they can have the upper hand when their spell casting is complete.

Student#16 finishes casting and goes into the range of Clover so they can get the first attack in.

When Student#16 gets into range of Clover, they shoot of a spell called ‘Lava ball’.

Clover dodges the attacks with ease and finishes her incantation.

Clover then uses the spell ‘Water Arrow’ and gives it a distance and speed boost with the use of wind magic.

Clover attack goes very fast towards Student#16.

Student#16, while barely able to see Clover's attack due to immense speed, tries to go into a closer range so they can attack Clover more easily.

As Student#16 is making their way to a closer range, one of Clover's arrows manages to pierce Student#16, and they end up flying back far, just narrowing almost getting taken out of the individual round.

Student#16 bounces back after Clover’s attack lands and uses the spell ‘Flame Wall’ so they don't get hit by any other arrows.

While Student#16 is using ‘Flame Wall’, Clover starts closing the distance between them.

When Clover is in close enough range of Student#16, she uses attack magic.

Clover uses a water-to-arrow spell that makes water balls in the air, and puts off the fire magic, then turns into arrows to attack while also being boosted by wind magic.

As Clover is using this attack, Student#16 gets hit again, but slows the attack down.

Student#16 jumps out of the way of Clover's attacks, so they can begin to counter again.

Student#16 tries to gain distance and counterattack.

Student#16 uses earth magic to raise themselves and gain a height advantage on Clover so they can bombard her with attacks.

After Student#16 makes their rock pillar, they start using fire magic and reinforce it with earth magic to make it stronger.

Clover starts moving away from Student#16’s pillar, so she can figure out how to counter.

Student#16 launches a huge fireball that's covered in rock (A meteorite) at Clover.

Clover uses her water and wind magic to take Student#16's attack and use it to break Student#16's pillar.

Student#16's pillar comes falling, and they also go down with the pillar.

After the pillars fall and the dust is settled, Clover uses wind magic to boost her speed and go into the cost range of Student#16 fast so she can attack them.

Student#16 stands up from where they fell, only to see Clover rushing towards them.

Student#16 had no time to react to Clover's attack, and before they knew it, they were blasted out of the match ring area and had lost the match.

(The crowd goes wild at Clover's win.)

Rep#1: “And with that, folks, we're done with today's matches for The Grand Spellblade Showcase!”

Rep#1: “Clover Winslow from the great Winslow family had come out victorious and will be moving on in the showcase!”
