Chapter 8: Alexander Miller

"Are you leaving already? "

A deep voice startled Molina from her trance, she was busy mentally setting down plans for her future when suddenly she heard a man spoke out of nowhere.

Holy sh*t. That quick?

Did he meet Diana and then straight off the bat decided to end me right here and now?

Is this the holy power of being the female lead?

A low and deep voice from behind her was heard and she slowly turns back. Inside the glass-walled lobby, Molina looks at the new handsome man who is going to give her hell in the future.

Alexander had a large build, he was taller than most men in their late twenties and his sharp jaw and phoenix shaped eyes made him look colder, in addition, he dressed in dark clothes giving off an aura of a strict nobleman who doesn't want to mingle with pheasants, it's no wonder people said they only can watch the man from afar.

"It's rude of me to speak to you without introducing myself first," Alexander says and gave an easy smile.

Chills. She felt the chills from imagining how his smile to her was friendly like he wasn't going to sack her and drag her body to the nearest river in the future.

Okay, maybe she was being paranoid.
" My name is Alexander Miller, you must have heard about me from Ethan " he extended his left hand for a shake, he then looks at the woman seated on the couch and Molina wanted to tell him to go away.

Sir, We all know who you are!!! Even if Ethan doesn't tell the people around, we see your face in the business magazines everywhere!!

Even some of my office workers save your picture on their phones!!

Eve stands from her seat and gave a business smile to the man. She meets him halfway and receives a handshake from the larger man, Eve could feel a cold sweat forming on her back.

"It's an honor to meet you, Mr. Miller, I've always wanted to introduce myself to you but I never got the chance in the past, I'm glad I could see you before I leave "
Eve lies through her teeth with a smile.

She takes her hand back only to realize Alexander still had his large hand holding her own without any hint of letting go.
Molina looks down their connected hands and then smiles at Alexander, who was shamelessly keeping their fingers together, the corner of his lips raised as he watches Molina struggle to give him a hint on how he has been keeping her from taking her hand away. He was amused.
Eve, on the other hand, was in a bit of a mental crisis with her jumping into one conclusion after another.

Alexander, to her, was the Final Boss. He had connections far and wide, he had the manpower, and fortune to destroy Molina Sylvia's life.

The previous Molina who was finally 28 watch as Diana was surrounded by people who love and cherished her, in a day which was supposed to celebrate Molina for being born, became the day which her life was starting to be in danger.

Eve was startled when she realized her phone was buzzing, she looks at the man in front of her and awkwardly smiles.

" Mr. Miller, I think my ride is here. I will need my hand back to leave " she lightly jokes at the man and Alexander glance at the car outside the building that was seen through the glass wall.

Without removing his hand he retracts his gaze back to those honey-colored eyes.
"If I visit, will I be seeing you in your father's company?" He asks in a gentle tone as if he didn't want to end the conversation they had.

What visit? We are not even that close, as a matter of fact, we don't even know each other that well to even talk this intimately close!

And what company? Did he not hear
Hubert's crazy talk?

Good, I should confuse the enemy.

"Yes, that will be fine Mr. Miller " Eve decided to fool the man, she was planning on leaving B country and head to N country anyways. So Alexander can't touch her when he finds out he was talking to a disowned daughter of Graham. She needs to leave tomorrow afternoon, that's the earliest she could go.

"Hmmm. Then I'll come to see you tomorrow morning since I have a meeting at your company "

Scratch that, she needs to leave later at 5 am.

I'm gonna need to hack into the airport system and find myself a seat A.S.A.P

Molina kept her smile and didn't show how she was busy mentally preparing the things she does after she leaves this building and this country. A lot of new plans were added since it seems she had to leave more earlier than expected, just to avoid this man.

"Then I hope you have a good evening then Mr. Miller " she loosens her hand and pulls it away but Alexander grabs it and surprised Eve.

"You can call me Alexander " he steps closer and brushes a loose strand away from her face. " See you again, Molina " he sweetly says and took a step back, removing his hands and distance.

With that, Eve didn't hesitate to leave.

With Molina leaving to a new Country the next day after the company party and Diana being free from her stepsibling gaze and no one to bother her.

This world story had completely gone to a new and unexpected direction and progress slowly.

Eve had left the moment she saw the first daylight peeking out from the horizon, she had little to pack and even left most of her possessions that were handed to her from Hubert Graham. A lot of those things were old pieces of jewelry, last season dresses, and even gadgets that were given to her with an excuse of it being a company freebie for her.

Molina wasn't close with the mother who had lived in another mansion cities away from Hubert's own home, where he kept and taken care of his mistress and adoptive daughter. Eve decided to send her a text, saying how she got fired and disowned by Hubert Graham and now she decided to leave the country to start anew.

Knowing Mona Slyvia, whose obsession was making her daughter reclaim her rightful place in the messy family. Making Molina the official heir to Graham's Company and have most of his inheritance, it was such an impossible dream but Molina tried.

Eve also thought it was an impossible feat to achieve, knowing how Hubert treats his two daughters differently.

Now Eve doesn't need to think about it, she had more important matters to worry about.

After she left B country and started a new chapter in N Country, Eve had been busy.

The city she was in had been one of the top cities in the world and had always been dubbed as a city that never sleeps. True to its name, Eve had found this city too lively. During the day, a crowd of people will walk in different directions and cars filled the roads and highways, the night is even more lively when LED lights illuminated the buildings and streets where people mingle.

Buildings would light up and the sound of the busy city would never die down.
Eve had just finished moving into her new two-bedroom apartment and had turned on her newly bought PC, she wasted no time infiltrating Graham Company using their networks and CCTVs. It was already 9 pm in N City and 5 hours late in B City, Eve expected to see Alexander and Diana in feed. She searched for the lobby, office, and even meeting rooms but found no figure of the blonde woman and the dark-haired male.

Eve was just sitting and one hand tapping the desk as she thinks.

She could hack the street CCTV but where? She doesn't know if Diana and Alexander were even together at the moment.

Eve had felt she was missing something, so she decided to track down Diana first since it was easier to do than use another country's street CCTVs. The was a sound of rapid keyboards clicking and tapping until she finished and used her mouse to tap on the screen.

Her computer screen showed Diana's location which was inside a famous establishment, Eve checked the place and found the exact floor and store she was in.

" Well hello there.." Eve says as she sees at least five active camera feeds showing in the screen that she had hacked into, Diana's figure was clearly shown as she sat with Alexander and Ethan inside a Cafe.
