 Hyunwoo groans, light flooding into his sight as he awoke from what felt like a decade’s worth of sleep; his memories were hazy at the moment but even without them he could tell he'd never seen the bedroom he was in. He pushes himself into a sitting position, scanning the unfamiliar place. It was a fairly simple room that felt similar to his childhood bedroom, the Bookshelf placement, Wardrobe, Desk and bed to items lying around for example the bookshelf was full of Novels -Though at the moment Hyunwoo couldn't actually tell what they were about or what Genre they were- with small figurines all over it and a lone book placed on top, and the desk had various art supplies scattered over it, Even these black blankets reminded Hyunwoo of his old bedroom. The familiarity of the structure of the strange room brought Hyunwoo's memories back full swing, the sudden rush of information causing him to double over due to pain he honestly shouldn't have felt regarding getting over his temporary memory fog. It was at this moment, with his memories returned, that Hyunwoo realized it was physically impossible for him to be alive right now; he'd happily bid farewell to life mere moments ago hoping death would finally relieve his suffering! He's torn out of his confusion and mild panic by a small, blue, video game-like pop-up screen.

 Hyunwoo stares at the first skill on the list, its existence leaving a foul taste in his mouth. "I'm almost insulted you thought it was a great idea to turn the root of all my problems into a skill." A second pop-up appears beside the status screen.

 Hyunwoo sighs, shaking his head. "What exactly does that mean for me?" The pop-up disappears, another appearing in its place

 Hyunwoo glances around the room he was in; yeah, no way THAT was a thing. As if reading his thoughts, the Pop up declaring his new self a prince disappears, replaced by another 

This is Prince Miles' hideout.

Prince Miles was an introvert who frequently hid away from his responsibilities.

 In that moment, it occurred to Hyunwoo that this "New Self" wasn't just some reconstruction of his body but that he'd actually taken over someone else's body. "And, uh, what exactly happened to His Highness?"

 Hyunwoo jolts doubling over again, the second round of memories was somehow more painful than the first as his Brain tried -And failed- to compensate for the inconsistencies created by having another person's memories forcefully slotted into his own memories like a Hexagon block being forced into the square hole in a children's toy. In mere seconds Miles gained years of life experience as Elven Royalty, Names, Faces, Voices, people he'd never met, Feelings he'd never felt, Experiences he'd never had and yet they all felt like they belonged to him "Stars above.... Never do that again..."

 With that the pop-up screens all disappeared leaving Hyunwoo alone in the Prince's hideout with a throbbing headache he had no way to get rid of and memories he didn't know what to do with "Uh... H-HEY COME BACK!" a pop up appears in response 

Yes? 

 Hyunwoo massages his temples trying to relieve his headache. "Who are you exactly?" 

I am the system responsible for giving you a second chance at life 

I will be responsible for updating your status screen as well

 Hyunwoo tilts his head, His pain WAS in fact gone but he wasn't sure if he believed this was really just some A.I. system like the ones in the Novels he'd read when he was younger, this one seemed a bit too sentient "Can I give you a name?" 

If you wish

 Hyunwoo racks his brain for a good name for his new companion; if he really wanted to, he could just call it Chegye, but that felt a bit too literal for his taste. "Haru, I'll name you Haru." 

Then, I shall go by [Haru] from now onwards.

 Hyunwoo laughs awkwardly; was that meant as a good thing or a bad thing? Had he somehow started himself off on hard mode by personifying the system? "I mean, we'll be companions from now on, right? Oh! I should formally introduce myself then!" He pushes himself out of bed, bowing to the pop-up window. "I am Park Hyunwoo or, I guess now, I'm Prince Miles; it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Haru!" 

You... are quite polite.
