Prolouge

It has been 3 years when they first appeared on the small town of Aswerlo. No one knew where they came from but one- no two thing's for sure, they are rich beyond space and have a face card that even the goddess of beauty will be ashamed to sit or even appear within a 10 meter radius from them. The family were very kind, always smiling and greeting people, well except for the youngest master, a human version of a freezer, so cold that if you give him a glass of water, it will freeze, and that young master is the person who Iris unfortunately fell in love with. It all started at the midnight ball the mayor hosted. She was dying of boredom and already thinking of a way on how to escape unnoticed when she saw him. She was mesmerized, those red ruby eyes were so hypnotic she even forget what she was planning. She stood there, staring ("not weirdly") at the beautiful man and when their eyes met, fireworks and ecstasy induced butterfly were throwing a party in her stomach. Just when she was about to smile, the young man frowned and looked away as if he just saw something that ruined his night. This weirdly fueled Iris' passion more. She will do absolutely anything to win that man's love.

Elias has always hated crowded places, hated socializing, hated meeting new people, hated everything or anything that is connected with socializing so imagine his joy when his lovely mother ordered him to dress up because they are going to attend a ball, at midnight. Right as he was about to refuse, his mother looked at him leaving him no room for refusal. Upon arriving, they were greeted by the mayor, introduced to some influential families in town and whatnot. He was not interested on anything that person was saying and was more focused on finding an exit when he made an eye contact with one strange young lady. She was holding four cupcakes in one hand and a goblet full of wine, one look and he knew this person is chaos in human form. He frowned and quickly went back to looking for an exit, he does NOT want to associate with that person.

Fate has always been an unexpected part of human life, sometimes it's kind, sometimes it's the worst thing. What will fate do to two very very very different individuals? One chaos loved girl and an anti human person who are worlds apart with their own challenges in life.

Hi, author here, so this story is TagLish(Tagalog- English) but it may be just English with small tagalog mixed with it. I will translate Tagalog words to non-Filipino readers so hopefully you all read my first story heheheheheheh. Also, a little heads up, this story might have short chapters so yeah.
