Chapter 8:

LOYALTY

UNLEASH : THE GOD OF EMOTIONS

The scene opens in the present.

Master stands before the Royal Wolves — but this time, it’s not hundreds.

It’s thousands.

Their massive bodies dwarf him in size, but not in strength. Golden eyes gleam through the mist, low growls rumbling like the earth itself warning of what’s to come.

In a cold, heavy voice, Master speaks:

"Why do I have to do this… why do I have to take lives? I hate it. Why does this kingdom never stop sending bait instead of their so-called heroes — so these poor souls could survive?"

The wolves, confused but unwavering, wait for orders from their unseen master. Behind Master, his demons stand ready to lay down their lives.

But the wolves… they are not hesitant. They are simply waiting — for Master to make the first move.

His squad is outnumbered beyond reason.

Master suddenly roars, his voice cutting through the battlefield like a blade:

"Why does this kingdom want me to look like a demon?! WHY?! Why do they keep sending soldiers and bait's just so the world sees us as the evil ones?!"

The wolves’ eyes turn deep purple.

Scene shift → In the royal palace, the king and his noblemen laugh, drinking wine, feasting without care. One man raises his glass:

"The life is like this."

Scene shift → Back to the battlefield. The wolves kneel before Master.

A man leans casually against a tree, repeating the same words:

"The life is like this."

The demons leap forward to protect Master, but he halts them with a single gesture. His eyes flash with a dangerous light. In an instant, he’s in front of the man, lifting him by the neck.

The man, unflinching, says:

"You will gain nothing by killing me, and you know it. Why fight me?"

Scene shift → The ground littered with corpses — the 16,000 knights the king had requested a report on.

Flashback: Joy floats above the battlefield as soldiers arrive near the holy wall. Without hesitation, without mercy, Joy cuts them down effortlessly. Then, he leaves the forest, reporting to Master: "No army at or near the holy wall."

Back to present → The strange man grips Master’s hand with such strength that Master is forced to release him.

"Find a goal in your life," the man says, walking into the forest.

The sun dips low. Master shouts after him:

"Hey! At least tell me your name!"

But before an answer comes, Master sees them — an elite army marching toward him but the wolves are allies now.

Master raises his right hand. A sword materializes. His demons kneel in perfect formation. Beside him: Strength, Rage, Pity, Love, and Joy.

"De-summon. All of you. This is an order."

One by one, they dissolve into shimmering aura particles. Master then commands the wolves to leave — and thousands of them melt away into the forest.

The army closes in. A glowing notification appears in Master’s vision:

OBJECTIVE FOUND — STOP BEING A DEMON

It minimizes to a small check mark at the corner of his sight.

Master steps forward, sword in hand, and shouts:

"Why do you follow your king’s command?"

The soldiers’ pace falters. One answers:

"Because he is the king. He provides us everything we need to survive."

They charge again.

"I could give you the same — would you follow me? No? Then why follow him?"

Another soldier yells:

"Because he is the king!"

Master’s eyes blaze fully purple.

"What has he done to earn it? Played mind games against me? Was he born in a royal family, so that makes him worthy? Or is it sending your friends, your family, your fellow soldiers — and even you — as bait… is that what makes a king?!"

The army halts completely.

One by one, 35,000 soldiers kneel, their eyes glowing purple.

Scene shift → High above the clouds, a sleeping man awakens, sensing the massive surge of energy. Tears fill his eyes.

"He has arrived."

Scene shift → Master summons all his demons once more. Everyone around is frozen in shock. A bead of sweat slides down Joy’s chin and drops onto the earth.

Scene shift → The strange man stands on a mountain, gazing at the sky.

"You owe me one," he says with a chuckle.

Scene shift → In the palace, the king storms in rage, shouting at his generals.

"What happened to the elite soldiers?!"

Scene shift → Back to Master.

SKILL ACQUIRED — Eternal Loyalty

A smirk spreads across his face.

"You’re finished, King."

END — To be continued.
