Chapter 2

Fabel sighs pulling his long blonde hair over his shoulder tugging at it a bit in exasperation, he'd seen many things while serving under Miles both as his right-hand man in Silverlight and as his Knight and was well aware the older Elf was stubborn but this just ridiculous... The Ebony Rose was rushing around gathering supplies and weapons for a journey across Oasis because the High Elf was dead set on reuniting Silverlight and driving Man out of Elven lands. Fabel saw one fatal flaw with Miles' plan however, Silverlight's 3 other members were all human and played a large role in putting the High Elf in a position of power.
Hyunwoo hooks Prince Miles' sword and scabbard to his hip humming a song he'd written before his death, this would be his first time since waking up as Prince Miles that he'd been outside of this hideout -Not counting via Miles' memories that was- "Haru are you there?" A small blue pop-up window appears.


I am here, Hyunwoo.
Is there something you wish to ask?


Hyunwoo laughs, shaking his head. "No, I just wanted to check in on you; you've been pretty quiet since Fabel showed up." 


Fabel cannot see the system.
I simply didn't want you to look insane
If I had a physical body, this wouldn't be a problem, but such things would be impossible and unstainable.


Hyunwoo buries his fingers in his bangs, weighing the idea that popped into his head. "Is it really impossible?" 


I encourage you not to overexert whatever strange power you have over me 
Arian wouldn't be too happy if you completely changed the system he created.
I am satisfied with what you've already done, so please erase the thought from your mind.


Hyunwoo grins awkwardly, nodding in defeat. "Okay, okay, I'll behave." He's jolted out of his conversation with Haru by Fabel grabbing hold of his arm. "Who are you talking to? There's no one here, Miles." Hyunwoo freezes up, his mind going blank from panic; he had no idea what to say! And it wasn't as if he'd ever actually taken the time to come up with a plan for if this situation arose.


Tell him you're using Neural Link!


"N-Neural Link." Fabel studies his expression for a moment before stepping back sighing "Right, sorry, it's been so long since Silverlight that I forgot you could do that kind of thing.... I didn't hurt you did I?" Hyunwoo shakes his head relieved that actually worked "You just surprised me that's all..." He straightens up regaining his composure so he could return to mimicking Prince Miles "We'll start with Alexis Everglow, he's the most likely to jump on board with this idea." At least that's the impression Hyunwoo got from seeing the Healer in Miles' memories; Alexis reminded Hyunwoo of a song he loved from his own world called Cure. His ultimate goal in life seemed to be creating true peace and healing the world. Fabel nods in agreement the look on his face suggesting he was thinking "Yes I believe Everglow would happily accept the idea of returning Elven lands to the Elves, he'd probably offer to heal any damage done to the land for us as well" Hyunwoo smiles happily glad to have been right 


Would you like me to do a planet-wide search for [Alexis Everglow]? 


“Uh... yes, Haru, I would definitely appreciate that! That would save Fabel and me a ton of time, thanks!” Hyunwoo grins happily, proud of how helpful his companion was.
Fabel reaches up flicking away the proverbial flowers and stars that Prince Miles was giving off at whatever idea the person he was using Neural Link with gave him, he was struck with a sudden mental image of Prince Miles as one of Luceria's Domestic wolves the thought is quickly overpowered by the realization that the Beast Tamer would probably agree just as quickly as Alexis if Prince Miles asked her to because Luceria Stronghold..... Was hopelessly in love with the High Elf

Alexis sighs listening to Mina; Mina was his current party Frost's mage, but she was also... his ex-Fiancee. She'd completely disappeared on him one day like a year or so ago, somehow thought it was okay to show back up again months later wanting to go back to how things were and had been bugging him ever since going back and forth between wanting to get back with him and wanting him to disappear from the face of Oasis. She scoops up his hands intertwining her fingers in his own long delicate fingers "Come on Lex, We love each other don't we?" He blows his bangs out of his eyes angling his head up and back feeling really frustrated "Mina...." A hand swoops in disconnecting Mina's hands from his a masculine voice following "That's enough Mina." Ares, the party leader, Ares was Demonkin, which mostly just meant the church wanted to tie him to a pole and light him on fire despite his accomplishments for the sake of The Kingdom of Alaria and its capital Stonefall, Demonkin weren't really much stronger than Humans and the only visual difference was the fact that Demonkin had horns, Tails, fiery red hair and Amber eyes with slit pupils unlike their holy counterparts Angelkin which were considered on par with the reigning god Arian in power and could be easily identified by their halo of golden hair, brilliant sky-blue eyes and large feathery white wings. Ares in particular wasn't much stronger than a Human could easily become with proper training and practice but even so he was a Sword Saint like Miles and in Alexis' opinion could stand by the High Elf's side and easily match his skill -Not to mention he was exceptionally handsome for a guy with horns and a tail which ended him up in an almost solely female party with Alexis being the only other man in it.- Mina scoffs, crossing her arms. "Stop interfering in my love life, leader! Alexis is just confused because I accidentally broke his heart!" Ares puts his arm on Alexis' shoulder, giving the healer an amused "Want me to rescue you?" Look on his face, Alexis clasps his hands together giving him the best begging wolf pup look he could muster, Ares ruffles his fluffy platinum blonde hair giving him a childlike grin before turning his attention to Mina his voice taking a serious tone "You can't hurt someone and then expect them to still want you Mina, it's self-degrading. Lexi shouldn't have to give up his dignity just because you changed your mind. The guy was a member of Silverlight before you ever waltzed into his life, and I'm not losing the world's greatest Healer just because you can't leave him alone!" He runs his fingers through his hair, careful not to slam his fingers against his horns. "the only reason we're even close to as we are is BECAUSE we have Alexis so if you drive him off with this nonsense you're out of Frost and you and I both know what'll happen." Mina like Alexis was the child of a noble however unlike Alexis she wasn't really allowed too be Adventurer, the only thing stopping her parents from dragging her back home and never letting her set foot outside again was their fear of Frost, Alexis wasn't actually sure how Mina was able to join Frost in the first place. He jumps ripped out of his thoughts by a familiar voice, he steps back away from the group so he could properly hear


"Alexis? Are you there?"


Alexis twirls his staff in an attempt to look nonchalant, he was a little surprised to be hearing from his old party leader especially through the Neural Link skill, Silverlight had achieved its purpose and while Alexis would have preferred to have been able to stay with Fabel, Luceria, Miles and Marianne as Silverlight the King of Alaria decided Miles was to become King of elves -Not that the elves or even Miles himself agreed to this decision- which meant Silverlight could never get back together. "I'm here, Highness." 


"Good, how on board would you be with helping Fabel and me find the girls and bringing back Silverlight?"


Alexis screeches as his staff slips out of his hand from shock "W-WHAT?!" the entire camp falls silent, looking over at him, he awkwardly clasps his hands together apologetically before reaching down to pick up his staff "All do respect Miles but have you lost your mind?! You have an entire kingdom to rule! You can't just go adventuring again because you feel like it!" 


"Except it's not my kingdom..." 
"Alexis, Fabel and I want to return Elven lands to the elves and return the different races of elves back to their homes." 
"This was never my kingdom, and I want to return it to its true rulers."
"And that includes returning Fabel to his position as 2nd prince of the wood elves."


Alexis kicks at the dirt a little, letting Miles' words sink in, it'd been so long since he met Fabel Drelyn that he'd forgotten the Wood elf Necromancer had been the youngest son of the old Wood-Elf king. Fabel had no claim to the throne, so he'd been allowed to do whatever he wanted, Fabel was just a child when he first joined Silverlight, if Alexis remembered correctly Fabel -Like the rest of the group if Alexis was being completely honest- joined Silverlight SOLELY to stand beside "The Ebony Rose of Moonglade" Swordsman and Mage Miles Silverlight the High Elf raised by humans who earned himself the Sword Saint skill as a youth by ushering in Peace within the Elven nations, Miles ended up losing his name and his freedom after becoming Prince Miles of Moonglade and as a reward for Fabel's loyalty to him and a show of complete trust the multiclasser requested that the Wood elf be given the most important role he could be given in the new Moonglade: The Prince's personal guard. "What's the plan? Bring Silverlight back and use our influence to just demand it back? If we start a war over this, it'll be a disaster." 


"I'm hoping we can be civil about this, but if it comes down to it, I'll need Silverlight." 
"I'll need you, Lex; even if we can get Luceria and Marianne, it's useless without our healer...." 


Alexis glances over at Ares and the girls; the Demonkin had managed to rally the entire party into scolding Mina, could he really just leave Frost? He was pretty confident Ares could take care of the girls on his own, but they still needed a healer. "I don't know... I'm already in a party, Miles." 


"I'm not asking you to quit your current party; I'm just asking you to lend your skill. You can go back to them when we're done, no hard feelings." 


Alexis fumbles his staff again thrown off by how calm and accepting Miles sounded, He was this accepting when Silverlight started out always telling the party that if they wanted, they could quit and join a different party but the High Elf had changed since becoming Elf King -Heck he went as far as refusing to be called King and instead making everyone refer to him the prince- he became colder and more introverted hiding away and snapping at anyone who tried to change the way he had things "You're acting like yourself again!" 


"Am I? Fabel said something similar."


Alexis sits down in the grass, his legs starting to hurt from standing for so long. "What changed?" 


~POV change~


"Let's just say I'm not the same person I was before." It wasn't entirely a lie; Hyunwoo definitely wasn't Miles, even if he did have all his memories. "Will you help us, Alexis?" 


"If this is what it takes to get you acting like your old self, then count me in! Meet me at the Adventurer’s Guild later; I'll fill Frost in on the situation." 


Hyunwoo looks over his shoulder as Fabel leans over his shoulder. "He's in. He's going to tell his party what's going on and then meet up with us in the Adventurers Guild." Fabel throws his hand into the air grinning "Yes!" Hyunwoo laughs "Next up is Luceria." Fabel pulls his long blonde hair over his shoulder playing with the tips of it "Ceria's little brother Luciel recently registered with the Adventurers Guild as a Swordsman, I heard he's become a member of the Hero's party." Hyunwoo presses his fingers to his lips, thinking, "So we track down Luciel and ask him what his sister is doing." Why did this world need a hero, anyway? That was what Hyunwoo REALLY wanted to know; why the heck was Oasis boasted to be a world of peace if it needed a hero from another world and had humans using forced transfer on elves? 


The "hero" [Haruko Sanji] seems to have been summoned by the humans to eradicate Demonkin.
Demonkin are a race of Half Human, Half Demon beings known for their fiery red hair, slitted amber eyes, tan skin, ebony horns and ebony tail
Normal Demonkin and humans aren't very far off in power. however Demonkin Royalty are usually exceptionally powerful and on par with true Demons.
Demonkin and Demonkin Royalty tend to stick to themselves and thus
There's not actually a plausible reason for humans to wish for their demise

Hyunwoo sighs in exasperation; he seemed to have gone from white supremacy to human supremacy. "What's with these humans and hating anything that isn't human?!"
