Chapter 4:
Bangles of power, Warriors of Fate
All were sitting in the room.
Hijoto was in deep thought.
Inoshida asked him, “What are you thinking?”
Hojito replied, “What problem does this guy have with the roof? He broke it twice.”
All made a similar weird face because they thought Hijoto must be thinking of something serious.
Tsangero said, “As you all know, we need to make a united move, so there will be a signal.”
“A signal?” Yushura asked.
“Yes,” replied Tsangero. “On the count from 5 to 1 made by my fingers, you all have to close your eyes. That will be my signal for the united move.”
“What do we have to do by closing our eyes?” Hojito asked.
“Pray for the roof,” Yushura replied while laughing.
“Pray for peace, pray for humanity for 5 seconds,” Tsangero added.
They went upstairs to charge their bangles and slept after charging them in the moonlight.
The next day, they saw something that they all got shocked.
All the water sources were dried up.
All the agricultural sources and forests were burned.
All the pet animals had ruptured eyes and were in pain. Some humans were lying dead on the streets with eaten hearts.
The sky was covered with dark clouds.
People were starving for water and food. Some were grieving for their pets, while others were grieving for their lost family members.
Zevroth was in the middle of the sky, laughing hard at people’s pain. People were terrified, looking at him and at what he had done.
The Watsukais knew at that exact moment what they had to do.
Hijoto used her move, “Aqua Descent — the power of blue.”
(Aqua Descent is the rain-summoning technique in which the user summons the dark clouds closer, and with a roar of thunder, the rain begins to pour down in torrents, drenching the land.)
Rivers, lakes, and all water resources were filled with water.
Then came Tsangero’s turn: “Solar Bloom — the power of the sun,” she said, raising her hand to the sky.
(Solar Bloom is a sun-power technique in which the user calls upon the sun. Golden rays descend to the earth, and the energy of sunlight restores the environment.)
Soon after Tsangero, Itiwah uttered, “Verdant Bloom — the power of nature’s heal.”
All the pets with burst eyes had their eyes covered with blossoms that slowly began healing them.
Then she added another move: “Terravive — the earth restoration,” by swirling in midair.
(Terravive is an earth-revival technique in which the user summons veins, flowers, and glowing roots from beneath the ground. These spread in all directions, restoring balance, purifying the land, and healing allies. Trees sprout, flowers bloom instantly, and even barren soil becomes fertile again.)
Then nature started healing; all crops, trees, plants, and flowers regenerated.
Zevroth grew furious after seeing this.
He became angry and decided to stop them, but he didn’t realize it was daytime and that he had already used so much of his power that he couldn’t charge it in sunlight.
When he tried to burn everything with his eyes, Yushura shouted, “Inoshida, take the eagle form!” and ran towards him.
Inoshida activated his move, “Eagle Form — the power of wings.”
(Eagle Form is a transformation technique in which the user takes the form of an eagle.)
Inoshida became an eagle, and Yushura jumped on him, as Yushura couldn’t fly. Inoshida flew into midair. Yushura used his flame form to oppose Zevroth’s fire.
And it worked. Zevroth was shocked. How was it possible that someone could oppose his moves?
“You were so busy playing with people that you forgot daylight can’t charge your bangle,” Wahido uttered. “And now your power is reduced,” he added.
Yushura burst with a sense of competition. “Now I will show you how the flame power is used, you fool.”
But before Yushura could do anything, Zevroth vanished and appeared just behind Wahido.
Yushura saw it, but before he could save him, Zevroth pressed his fingers into Wahido’s eyes and burst them, saying, “Your disciples speak too much.” Then he tilted his head and killed him. After that, he separated his head from his body, set it on fire, and kicked it. It fell directly in front of Tsangero, who was controlling the sun rays.
Tsangero saw it and fell to her knees, crying with burning tears. She picked his burning head up, but soon the head turned to ashes.
Hijoto and Itiwah went near Tsangero. Itiwah couldn’t control her tears. Hijoto pulled her near him and tried to console her while controlling his own tears, saying, “How are we going to win this battle without you, sensei?”
Yushura and Inoshida came to the ground and were shocked at what had happened, as if they were not able to believe this actually happened. Inoshida’s eyes were wet. Yushura burst with anger. “I’ll kill you!”
Zevroth added, “Still, you think you can kill me? Now I’ll show you how flame power is used — by burning every atom of Wahido’s body.”
Tsangero opened her wet eyes, which were now showing signs of revenge. She pulled her sword, attained the maximum speed she could, got close to Zevroth, and separated his head from his body with a single attack.
“He was like a father to me, and now this is a personal war,” she said.
His blood spread across the earth’s surface. Zevroth’s severed face was laughing hard, and soon he reattached his head to his body.
“Even if my power intensity is reduced, I’m still the Red Bangle owner, who can kill you all just like I killed Wahido — huh, the old bastard.”
This statement made every Watsukai’s blood boil.
Suddenly, the lying blood of Zevroth began to escape.
The Watsukais were unable to figure it out, but Zevroth realized why the blood was moving.
“You want to play more, you rats? This is my blood, which will now find a new body for itself and create wrath,” he said.
“Let’s make it more interesting for you. Why not create wraths in different universes?” he added.
Blood was already dripping from his neck, moving to find a new body. He brought his hand in front, made a circle in the air with his hand movement, which opened the portal to another world, and within the blink of an eye, Zevroth went inside the portal, and it closed.
