Chapter 50:
Am I losing Interest in Writing?
Still on the topic.
Do you ever have that feeling when something is about to get good but ends up getting cut short? Well, that's romance anime. A genre that doesn't have those things, where, after the confession, the two main characters live happily ever after. No challenge, no hindrance, whatsoever.
Seriously, many anime/manga/light novels have this ending, where the series ends with the confession succeeding.
I know, I know. The ultimate goal of these series IS the confession. But come on, mate, you want me to believe there is nothing spicy happening before or after their marriage? Hell no!
I'm glad some series do continue after the confession, like Fragrant Flower.
Oh, even better! I want a series like Kimi Zero (Manga/LN), Maybe Meant to be (Manhwa/Webtoon), or Pasutri Gaje (Indonesian Webtoon komik), where the story starts when they are already together. Those types of stories are the most interesting, why? It's tales about how they keep their relationship strong. How do they overcome obstacles together? How do they support each other through their struggle? Like, you guys don't want that? Surely, I'm not the only one, right?
