Awakened

Lunar opened her eyes only to find herself blinded by the bright glow of the heavens. The angels around her were praying to a statue of what looked to be a goddess. Ones whose wings were greater than anyone else's, and hair as long as the rivers on the planets below them. Lunar walked up to one of the younger angels who were praying to the giant statue to ask why they were praying to her. "She is our goddess! The greatest being in all of Heavenly realms!" The child responded. Lunar still didn't quite understand what this odd child meant so she went off to ask one of the adults. But, a strange thing happened when she approached one of the older angels. They bowed to her? What? Why are they bowing to me?  "Excuse me, why are you bowing to me?" Lunar asked  the woman. "Why, you look like our goddess, Michika!"
