I got a little silly with this one. But I think it turned out well, well enough that I will be continuing this story if it wins the MAL X HF Isekai competition or not. Expect the second part of this story in the future, and depending on how that goes, maybe even a new story to follow. See you soon!

Some notes on Names and Pronunciation

The characters in this story and even the locations and objects have all had their names chosen specifically for them. Here is a list of the names, their pronunciation and the meaning behind each one, according to Google. I have adjusted the pronunciations of some names to better suit the character. In no particular order:

Jesse (Jess-ee) - “God’s Gift”.

Evren (Ehv-renn) or Evvy (Ehv-vee) - “Universe” or “Cosmos”.

Cayti (Kay-tee) - Variant of the name ‘Katherine’, meaning “Pure”.

Sivan (Siv-en) - “Protector of the Community”.

Roi (Roy) - “My Shepherd”.

Agnar (Aeg-nar) - “Eagle Warrior”.

Tyur’ma (Tiu-ri-mua) - Loosely translates to ‘Slammer’.

Gavrel (Gahv-rill) - A variant of the name ‘Gabriel’, meaning “God is my strong man”.

Fianna (Fee-ah-nah) - A legendary band of warriors.

Jari (Jar-ree) - “Helmet Warrior”.

Asa (Ass-ah) - “Healer”

Some notes on Vehicles

All vehicles in this story are based on a real world counterpart. Here are some of the more important ones, in order of appearance:

Tyur’ma is based on the Teledyne AGS Expeditionary Tank “Slammer”. For the purpose of the story and the lack of information online, she’s been heavily modified and her internal layout is different.

- The screens within her are similar to the ones found in the ADF-11F Raven’s cockpit from Ace Combat 7.

- The shell she fires is based on the M900A1 APFSDS round.
- Her machine guns are modified M240 machine guns, the main difference being the chainlink ammunition belts don’t disintegrate, but do separate from the cartridges.

- And more smaller details that I won’t bore you with.

Elevi is based on the T-72 ‘Ural’. As this story didn’t include a full description of her, I will not state yet what changes have been made. You’ll have to read the next book to find out.
