Chapter 5:
Tales Of Sorrow
Stanford was dead.
Despite this, the creature kept swinging, each swing making Stanford's body more and more unrecognisable. Eventually, it stopped. Standford was on the floor, blood all around him. The creature picked his corpse up, and lumbered outside. It walked through the woods, until coming across the corpses of Stanford's grandparents. It tied Stanford's body up, and hung him in between his grandparent's corpses.
He was with them again.
The monster wasn't dead. Stanford was. Despite how hard Stanford tried, it wasn't enough. You won't always succeed. But you won't always fail either. Life is unpredictable. And you won't know whether you'll succeed in what you do. But there's always a chance.
So you might aswell try.
