Chapter 32:

Ren vs. Giga

I Got Isekai’d With No Magic or Skills, But My Body Is Monstrously Strong

“And now… his opponent!” the announcer’s voice thundered, rattling the entire coliseum. “From the guild of adventurers, the challenger—REN!”

The crowd erupted instantly—not with cheers, but with laughter.

Ren stepped out from the shadowed gate into the arena, sunlight blazing down on him. His boots pressed into the sand, each step firm but calm. The moment people laid eyes on him, their voices exploded.

“That’s it? That’s the guy?” “He’s tiny! Look at the size difference!” “No armor, no weapon—what a joke!” “Send him home before he gets stepped on!”

Thousands laughed as though it was already over. The sound rolled like a storm, louder and louder, until it felt like the entire arena was shaking with mockery.

Up in the royal balcony, nobles chuckled into their jeweled cups. Even the announcer wore a crooked grin, egging the crowd on.

Ren didn’t react. His face was calm, his eyes locked forward. It didn’t matter how they laughed—he wasn’t here to entertain them. He was here to stop the nightmare that could happen if the giant won.

And the giant was already waiting.

Giga stood in the middle of the arena like a living mountain, his massive frame towering above everyone. His body was like stone wrapped in armor, beard thick and wild, his giant hammer buried halfway into the sand beside him. The shadow he cast was so long it nearly covered Ren completely.

The crowd cheered Giga’s name over and over, like he was already the champion.

“GIGA! GIGA! GIGA!”

Ren walked forward until he was standing across from him, their size difference so absurd that even from the highest seats, people were pointing and laughing at the comparison.

Giga bent slightly, his huge head lowering so his booming voice could reach Ren. “Hah… why don’t you surrender already, kid?” His grin revealed teeth like boulders. “I’m gonna win this tournament, and when I do… my master will marry the princess and become the new king.”

Ren’s eyes sharpened. Master?

Giga wasn’t fighting for himself.

The giant’s words weren’t just bluster—because when he finished speaking, he turned his head slightly. Ren followed his gaze.

High in the noble stands, among the richly dressed lords and ladies, sat an old man with cold eyes and a twisted smile. His robes were deep crimson, rings heavy on every finger. The moment Ren’s eyes found him, the man smirked, lifting his cup of wine like a silent toast.

So that was it. The giant wasn’t just here for glory—he was bought, commanded, a weapon disguised as a competitor. And the noble behind him… clearly had his eyes set on Ariel.

Ren clenched his fists slowly, the sound of his knuckles cracking echoing faintly under the roar of the coliseum. The laughter, the mocking voices, the cheers for Giga—none of it mattered anymore.

He finally understood what was at stake.

The announcer raised his hand high from the platform built just for him, his voice booming across the coliseum.

“Get ready… FIGHT!”

The words had barely left his mouth when the entire arena trembled. Giga didn’t wait—he swung his enormous hammer with all the weight of his gigantic body, the weapon howling through the air before slamming down straight onto Ren.

The sound was deafening.

BOOOOM!

The sand erupted, a violent quake ripping across the arena floor. Smoke and dust swallowed everything. It wasn’t just a strike—it was the kind of power that reminded everyone why giants were feared. If they wished, they could crush kingdoms, split mountains, erase armies. And Ren had just been buried beneath that world-ending strength.

The crowd gasped. Some screamed. Others couldn’t even look, flinching at the thought of what had just happened.

“That boy’s done for.”

“There’s no way he survived that.”

Up in the stands, Kazuma shot to his feet, eyes wide. “REN!”
Rachel, Lisa and Melissa froze, holding their breath. Even Alex looked pale.

The doom of Ren felt inevitable.

But then—

As the dust slowly cleared, a figure stood tall in the middle of the crater.

Ren.

Unmoving. Unbroken. The massive hammer’s head was still pressed against him, resting right on the crown of his head. And he hadn’t budged an inch. No blood. No wound. Not even a drop of sweat.

The coliseum went silent.

Ren’s eyes glimmered with determination, his calm face radiating the kind of defiance that no weapon could shatter. He hadn’t dodged. He hadn’t even blocked. He simply stood there and endured it—showing the entire world exactly what he was.

The first to speak was Giga himself. He yanked his hammer back, his jaw dropping in disbelief.
“W-What the hell are you…? That’s not possible! You’re using magic—some spell I’ve never seen!”

Even he, a giant who had crushed men like insects, couldn’t believe his eyes.

From the stands, Rachel’s voice cut through the silence. “REN!” she shouted. The others followed, cheering with all they had. And like fire catching wind, the crowd exploded with them.

“No way!”

“He tanked it head-on!”

“That’s insane!”

“Who IS this guy!?”

Ren didn’t answer. He just shifted his gaze—first at Giga, then higher, to the noble stands. His eyes found the old man, the one who had hired this giant. The noble’s face had turned pale, his lips trembling as he realized the unthinkable: the hammer he had used to crush countless others on his orders had been stopped… like it was nothing.

Giga leaned down, still squinting at Ren as if trying to see if he was real.

Ren finally moved.

Slow. Calm. Then—suddenly, he bent his knees, launched upward, and in the blink of an eye was face-to-face with the mountain of a man. His fist clenched.

CRACK!

The punch slammed into Giga’s chin from below, a shockwave exploding outward louder and stronger than even the hammer strike. The entire coliseum shook.

The giant’s head snapped back, his eyes rolling. His massive frame wavered, balance lost, until finally—

BOOOOOOM!

Giga collapsed backwards. The ground quaked, entire rows of seats crumbling beneath his weight. Spectators scrambled, screaming, rushing out of the way as the titan crashed like a falling mountain. Dust plumed skyward, debris scattered.

Referees rushed in, checking frantically. They looked once at Giga, then signaled toward the announcer with wide eyes.

The announcer’s jaw hung open, his hands shaking as he lifted his voice.
“T-The… the GIANT has fallen! The winner of this match is—REN!!!”

The coliseum went dead silent. For one breath. Two.

Then it erupted.

A roar so deafening it rattled the sky itself. Cheers that would echo for miles beyond the city.

Contenders waiting for their turn stared in horror, some already stumbling out of the arena with pale faces.

“No way…”

“I can’t fight him.”

“He’s a monster…”

Whispers ran through the nobles’ box like wildfire. Some were afraid. Some intrigued. But the noble who had hired Giga… his mouth hung open, his eyes trembling. His carefully laid plan had been shattered in one single punch.

Princess Ariel leapt to her feet, joy sparkling in her eyes. Her hands clenched over her chest, as if she couldn’t contain her relief. The king beside her was still frozen, shock clear even on his stern face.

Ren raised his fist high into the air. Calm, steady, like victory had always been certain.

And the crowd roared even louder, chanting his name.

“REN! REN! REN!”
