Chapter 9:

Ninth Episode

The God Of Water

Everyone in the Council is stunned when they see the aura of power from the God of Water. Raiv is also surprised because the last time he saw his elder brother, there was only a slight difference in their strength.

Then, the God of Water takes a deep breath and begins to speak. "I am the most powerful God of the Multiverse, and I have organized this council to warn you all about the upcoming danger. As far as I know, you all might not be fully aware of our current situation—my youngest brother, Suviyan, has been kidnapped. It’s been more than a month since that happened."

Hearing this, all the gods in the council are shocked.

The God of Water continues, "I had sent my other brothers to rescue him, but they all failed. I just want to tell you that our enemy is not an ordinary species. Only my youngest brothers have seen him so far. So now, on this stage of the council, I call my youngest brother Raiv to tell you about him."

Hearing this, Raiv immediately stands up from his seat and goes onto the stage, while the God of Water takes his seat on his throne.

Raiv speaks, "As I know about our enemy, I believe he has a massive army of shadows, and among those shadows, there are some with enough power to defeat even a God ranked above 3 billion."

Hearing this, all the gods in the council are again astonished.

Raiv continues, "So, I want to say to all the gods ranked below 3 billion: if you come across such a shadow, run away without fighting and inform a higher-ranked God about it."

Hearing this, all the lower-ranked gods get angry and say, "What are you talking about? Do you think we are weak?"

Then Raiv shouts, "Everyone, be silent! Do you think I’m just spouting these words for fun? I know how we all fought day and night against our enemy. We were all on the brink of death. If our elder brother hadn’t saved us back then, we all would have been dead."

Suddenly, one of the gods in the council stands up and says, "Even if we accept that these shadows are stronger than us, don’t you think the God of Water’s Spirit Animal should be given all our strength?"

The God of Water then rises from his throne and says, "I have already discussed this with Slayer Dragon, and he said he will unlock the strength of only a few selected gods."

Another god in the council again speaks, "What are you saying? Our lives are at risk. Why is Slayer Dragon only giving full strength to a handful of gods? Don’t we still trust him? We have been running this multiverse for millions of years; why doesn’t he trust us now?"

The God of Water replies, "I never said that Slayer Dragon doesn’t trust all of you. I said when the time comes, he will give everyone their full strength. That’s all. Now, this council ends here. Please keep in mind everything I have told you."

All the gods begin to oppose this and say, "When it was our turn to ask questions, you ended the council and ran away. Is that right?"

All the gods start shouting. Then, the God of Water increases his aura, which terrifies all the gods, and that’s how the council ends.

Later, the God of Water and his brothers are sitting together, and Teranis says, "Brother, now we also need to think about saving Suviyan."

The God of Water responds, "It’s not a very difficult task. We will awaken Suviyan’s Spirit Animal, and he will use his full strength to save himself."

Hearing this, all the brothers ask, "Has Slayer Dragon unlocked Suviyan’s full power?"

The God of Water replies, "No, that’s my personal decision, and I will take full responsibility for it."
