REYNOLD

The darkness was completely gone. The moon shone as they all looked at each other. A crescent carved in the sand with the dispersal of light. A woman dressed in black emerged.

"What's going on? Dear, I reopened the gates of Power Taker land. That's what happened." The woman smirked.

"T-the great sorceress..." Hiroto snapped his fingers, trying to make a portal, but was unable to.

Amanda's face went white; her eyes widened in fury. "I spared you once, but not this time." 

The sorceress's eyes slowly drifted from one person to the next. She softly chuckled, her eyes wavering in amusement, frequently drifting to some distant past. "It's iconic seeing you three here."

Slowly gliding her hand from left to right, directing it at the royals. "The demon prince, the crystal prince, and the Star Area princess. How nostalgic." She lowered her gaze; with a smirk, she peered at them. "Your fathers would have loved this sight."

"What are you doing here?" Carlos' hair glistened under the moonlight.

The sorceress pointed at him, pretending she hadn't heard what the prince said. "How old was your father when he passed away?" 

Carlos's eyes shot red in anger; he parted his lips. His blue body shimmered into red. "Excuse me?"

"Ah yes, a hundred or so..." She tilted her head and touched her lower lip. "Or did you forget, Carlos..."

Slowly her eyes shifted to Podestray. "And yours...hmmm...a thousand, maybe..." 

"And lastly..." She looked at Amanda, almost staring.

"Died at 50." Amanda stated in a cold tone, keeping firm eye contact.
"All this gibberish makes no sense." She snapped.

"And it's pointless..." Podestray's hand mutated into a claw.

"I know, I just wanted her to feel bad that her daddy died way earlier than yours..." She broke into laughter, wiping her tear. "Oh, I almost forgot, you both probably didn't even meet—"

Her words were cut short as Carlos and Podestray took a leap at her in pure rage. A sigil opened in front of them and blasted fire at them. Podestary surged to the left and Carlos to the right, swiftly avoiding the attack. 

Before the two could strike, a sigil opened beneath her, and she sank into it. Another sigil opened where they stood earlier. With a glow she emerged out of it.

"Do you know how your fathers died?" She snickered with a cold stare. "Reynold died of illness, but both of yours — died for him."

"Proofless...quit spreading misinformation..." Hiroto smiled, eyeing her from head to toe. 

"Book writer... You are the one who is spreading misinformation." She took slow steps towards him. "The crystal king made you solely to rewrite history, and you did a fine job."

Hiroto narrowed his eyes at her and sighed, smiling again. "The public doesn't need to know every single detail...."

"I want to know." Torpedo interfered; he looked at them all.
Podestray grabbed his hand. "That's really not that important....." 
Their eyes met, Podestray understood what Torpedo intended, and took a step back. 

"So, let me tell you why the demon king was massacred and ripped apart, leading to all that abuse Podestray endured." The sorceress chuckled.

Podestray's shoulders stiffened; Torpedo gently rubbed his hand over his shoulder.

"And why the crystal king worked until he shattered." She moved from one foot to the other and slowly lifted her head, looking at the moon.

"For Reynold."
"They wanted him to live longer and he—"
"Renold, he dreamed of being immortal." The sorceress sighed and pointed at Torpedo. "What do you think they did?" 

"How am I supposed to know?" Torpedo glanced at Podestray, who was growling in anger at this point.

"They made Star Awesome, a place where a bunch of immortal humans live..." 

"But then why did Reynold die?" 

"That experiment—it was completed after Reynold died...now it's just there...pointless." She gently twisted her hair.
"Reynold was selfish; he wanted immortality even though the other two weren't immortals but had only lived long."

"SHUT UP!" Amanda snapped,
"That was my father's dream; whatever his motive was, it was still important to him...it's not pointless." 

Amanda jumped at her; a crescent formed in front of her, turning into a sigil. But before it could complete, she slashed it apart with her sword.

She pointed the sword at her face, gasping for air. 
The sorceress raised her hands in the air and shrugged.
 Podestray and Carlos joined Amanda.
