Chapter 4:

Moon-lit Madness

TRI-FACTOR

The quiet sun is slowly setting, father moon is nearly back at his rocking chair, but not quite there yet. the grass is running its fingers tickling my neck, and the wind’s audible screams rage on and on in the distance. I must stand.

I cant take anymore of this world’s ruthless cold.

I rolled on my stomach, my hands anchoring my now slowly flexing muscles as I try to stand on my feet.

The gold haired man greeted me again as I leaned my right shoulder on the wall.

We both walked parallel to each other, step by step, I followed June's instruction.

Like a child stuck in a maze at the playground, I embraced the nearest wall and followed it blindly hoping to meet an adult.

Unlike a lost child, crying wouldn't fix a thing.

Truly a waste of energy.

My mind ran faster than my legs, thoughts flowing one by one as I try not to drift off into slumber.

Looking back at it, on the moments between me crawling out the grave and passing out. My eyes did catch a glimpse of my gravestone, the name Lushen Casper written in a very obscure english font.

Is that my name?, at the time I didn’t give it much thought.

What am I supposed to do now? just live as a parasite on someone’s corpse.

Live with his family, sleep with his wife?

What would their reaction be to their dear casper rising from the dust?

His personality gone, only a worm feeding off whatever’s left of his brain.

I slapped myself.

Once or twice or however many times I needed to get that thread of thought off my mind.

Truly a waste of energy.

At least I have a clue now on what I should be looking for next.

The clue being my name.

Anything and everything related to the name Lushen Casper.

My legs began to tire, the moon waiting to unleash his 3 dogs to play around as they pleased.

Wind, Cold and Darkness.

Beasts I hold no power against.

By the way where did my gun go, what was her name again, june?

Did she steel it? No she didn't, I made sure to scout the area before leaving, only thing she took was the green unripe apple I managed to manifest with my now non existent trigun.

Yeah why did she take the apple?

Hunger?

Unlikely .

I need to keep my chain of thought going or I'm going to succumb to the pain in my legs, before even the Moon and his Cerberus bite down on whatever’s left of my determination to live .

This wall never ends, an iron gravestone begging for my name to be written on it.

My sense of time had died back with me in the original world. For how long have I been walking is a mystery.

I'm at the edge of my patience.

The words “I hate this stupid wall.” left my mouth more times than I thought I had energy for.

My sorrow shifted to anger.

Hatred brew in me.

Same hatred I felt licking the boots of my oh' so nice bosses at BKStar .

Just thinking of those bastards living, sipping on their expensive blood stained wine, and breathing the same air as the people they massacre everyday.

Something awoke in me,

Pure anger.

MY surrOundings STArted to melT INto EACh otHEr, tHe FACes of THOSE cORporAtE CULtiSts PLASTEred All OVERr THe irOn Wall BloCKIng My WAY…

i simply lost control over myself.

I STARted PUNCHING their SKuLLS fully knowing IM the ONLY one getting HURT.

My KNuckles BLED and my HEArtH racEd like it had NEVER DONE BEFORE.

and thats when it happened.

The smell of iron fumes mixed with boiling blood assaulted my nostrils.

I looked down in a wave of nostalgia, and saw no one else but My long lost friend,

The shotgun.

I picked it up before the pain in my hands even registered to my brain.

And aimed it straight at those elusive faces.

A continuous stream of sizzling blood blasted from its 3 barrels.

But the iron stood unscratched.

I quickly cleared my mind for a second trying to seize this opportunity,

I took a deep breath and thought of a better projectile.

the blood dried up,

and from one of the barrels molten iron took to a similar stream.

the stupid wall finally begun to melt,

the words take this you pigs!” forced themselves out from within my lips.

I screamed in pure joy, but my Heart had enough for the day.

I swiftly fell unconscious seconds later.

The last thing I saw being father the moon,

Highlighting the shadow figures of people gliding down that hellish gravestone of a wall.

The breeze felt nice for once .
