Two months had passed since the duel with Chris and Cherry. Shirou had begun to settle into village life, earning admiration not only for his strength but for the way he had defeated Cherry, one of the village's strongest defenders. To the villagers, he was a glimmer of hope for the next generation.
With Sarah often away handling the aftermath of the war, the orphanage was looked after by Cherry and Chris, while Alica threw herself into training. She dragged Shirou into sparring matches almost daily, determined not to be left behind.
"Match over—Shirou wins. That makes it 10–0," Dake declared.
Alica's sword clattered to the ground. "One more! I won't lose again," she snapped, glaring at Shirou.
"Hey…" Vanessa sighed, folding her arms. "How many times are we supposed to watch you lose? It's getting boring."
"Shut up!" Alica shot back, then jabbed a finger toward Shirou. "Don't think you'll always win. I'll beat you this time!"
Shirou shrugged, looking uninterested. "I don't feel like fighting anymore."
"What? Just one more—" Alica pleaded, her voice half-annoyed, half-desperate.
"Don't wanna," Shirou said flatly, turning to walk away.
"You—!" Alica started forward, but Dake stepped in front of her.
"Let it go, Alica. Let's do something else."
She clenched her fists, wanting to protest, but everyone else looked equally tired of it. With a reluctant groan, she nodded. "Fine. So what do we play?"
"Oh! Tag!" Dake raised his hand eagerly.
"I want to make a crown of flowers," Sabrina suggested softly.
"I want to play house," Jack declared. At once, the group stared at him."I'll be Papa, and Alica—"
Wham! Alica's fist connected with his cheek before he could finish.
"Forget it. Maybe we'll decide on the way. Let's just head to the hideout."
Everyone agreed. The group set off toward their secret refuge deep in the forest, a place known only to them. No villagers, not even Chris or Cherry, knew about it—because entering the forest without permission was forbidden
On the other side Shirou was wondering around while his both hand on his head the orphanage as he saw Chris brooming the leafes of the tree as Chris noticed
"Hey, Shirou what are you doing ?" Chris asked Shirou being wondering alone
"They are on the training ground of orphanage.." Shirou said
"Oh... Then why are you not joining them" Chris asked
"I was there a little time ago but Alica feels annoyed that she cann't able to defeat she asked me one more match after she lost so I left" Shirou explained as Chris laugh "that is Alica for sure. She wanted to become just like her mother"
"Why she wants to become more like sarah? She was just adopt by her that doesn't mean she can become a monster like sarah" Shirou said
"A monster? Sarah ...well I think I know what you want to say but compare a hero to a monster is little ...well anyway maybe you don't know but Alica biological mother is indeed Sarah" Chris said
"Really? But Sarah said the person she loves die in war before they can marry" Shirou said seems confused and curios
"Oh.... So she told you that story.... Well Sarah becomes pragnent during the time of war ..... I don't know much details that time but Max bring Sarah to this oprahnge to introduce her to us on that time in orphanage only I and Cherry was there" Chris explains
"I see....."Shirou said as he thinks he remembered
"Hey Chris! I totally forgot about match" as Shirou was saying Chris intrups "I think Cherry is calling ... Sorry Shirou I had to go bye" Chris escape while making excuse
" Hey wait!" Shirou tried to stop him but fails
