Chapter 13:
Luberto
They were swimming in the sea until they saw that the medallion shone brighter when they were close to an island. They got out of the water and started looking for something. They spent a whole day searching and found nothing. Finally, Giulia said:
- Guys, did you forget? This is the substance of the sea. What if what we're actually looking for is underwater?
And dived in once again. The necklace was shining brighter and they finally found something. It was a door and there was some foreign language on it. There was no key, nor a lock.
It was dark and they had to go home.
The next day they went to the city's library. They were searching for a dictionary in that language. Unfortunately, one hour later nothing was found. Giulia suggested going to the library underwater. The lovebirds agreed and they went there.
When they came the sea monsters were scared, but didn't do anything because and year ago Giulia saved Alberto's life. The youngsters went to the place they'd decided and looked at the books. There they found the alphabet. They took the book and swam to the weird door.
The translation was "Only 3 worlds will succeed in opening the great sun door".
They thought of how this was possible and started looking for more creatures. They found more information in the book. They read that there is a scepter, which enables opening portals between worlds. It's in Toronto which is 5000 kilometers away from Portorosso.
Giulia, Alberto, and Luca returned to Massimo and Giulia asked him:
- Dad, can we go to Toronto?
- Sweetheart, don't you think it's a little too far from here?
- Yes, but we could visit it. We'll take the train and be there in no time.
- Fine, but we won't stay for a night. We'll get there tomorrow at 5 in the morning. What do you say?
- Yes, Dad. Sounds great.
Giulia called the boys in her room.
- Guys, tonight we're going to bed early because tomorrow we're going to Toronto early. - she explained.
- Then, we're going to bed at 19 so we can feel refreshed. - both boys replied.
