Chapter 1:

The Beginning of a New Adventure

Re:Admin

The first order of business, Admin decided, was reconnaissance. He activated the GPS function on his phone, a familiar interface popping up amidst the strange, fantastical icons. He pinpointed his location – a seemingly random field on the outskirts of what the phone identified as the "Whispering Woods." The woods themselves were labeled with a series of ominous warnings: "High Monster Density," "Undead Activity Suspected," "Proceed with Extreme Caution."

Admin smirked. Caution was for the weak. He needed resources, and he needed them fast. He tapped a few icons on his phone, bringing up a menu of… summons. The options were dizzying, ranging from basic supplies to advanced weaponry, and even… living beings?

He hesitated. He wasn't particularly interested in making friends, but Aeriys hasn't mentioned a team. And even with his enhanced ranged attack, he knew he couldn't face an undead army alone.

He scrolled through the options, pausing at a seemingly random entry: "Tundra, the Electric Sprite." The description was brief: "Emotionally volatile. Possesses electric magic. May require… emotional support."

Admin considered. Emotional support was a waste of time, but electric magic… that could be useful. He tapped the "Summon" button.

A flash of light erupted in front of him, and when it subsided, a small figure stood there. It was, as the description suggested, a sprite. But instead of a traditional fairy-like appearance, this one had a TV for a head. Cat ears adorned the top of the screen, and a simple white, fanged mouth was visible on the gray display.

"W-where am I?" Tundra squeaked, her voice surprisingly normal despite her bizarre appearance. Her white-dot eyes widened, focusing on Admin. "Who are you?"

"I am Admin," he said, his voice devoid of inflection. "You have been summoned to join my team."

Tundra blinked, her cat ears twitching. "Team? What team? What's going on? I'm scared!" A single tear, rendered in pixelated white, rolled down her screen-face.

Admin sighed internally. Emotional baggage, just as advertised. "We are going to defeat Mishanter," he stated flatly. "He's a demon lord who wants to destroy this world. Are you in, or are you out?"

Tundra's expression flickered through a series of emotions on her TV screen: fear, confusion, then finally… determination. "I… I don't want the world to be destroyed," she stammered. "I'll… I'll help!"

"Good," Admin said. "Now, let's find some more useful members."

He and Tundra ventured into the Whispering Woods, the shadows lengthening as the sun began to dip below the horizon. The air grew colder, and the sounds of rustling leaves and snapping twigs seemed to amplify the growing sense of unease.

Suddenly, a figure darted out from behind a tree, a blur of crimson hair and a glint of steel. It was a girl, no older than twenty, wielding a wickedly sharp axe.

"You!" she snarled, her eyes burning with hatred. "Admin! Mishanter has ordered your death!"

Admin quickly scanned the girl with his phone. The screen identified her as "Kowareta Mirai," a retired singer from another world. Her bio was… disturbing. It mentioned a contract with Mishanter, the murder of her own friend and a deep-seated resentment for Admin.

"I know who you are, Mirai," Admin said, his voice calm despite the axe pointed directly at his face. "I know about your contract. And I know about your friend."

Mirai's eyes widened. "How… how did you know?"

"My phone has access to… information," Admin replied cryptically. "But that's not important. What is important is that you don't have to do this. Mishanter is using you."

"He… he promised me power!" Mirai protested, her voice wavering. "He promised me revenge!"

"Revenge for what?" Admin pressed. "For the loss of someone who wasn't there to help you, He's manipulating you."

Tundra, hiding behind Admin, piped up. "Please, don't fight! We can help you!"

Mirai hesitated, the axe trembling in her grip. The conflict raged on her face – a desperate yearning for something beyond the darkness she had embraced.

Admin took a step closer. "I can offer you something better than power, Mirai. I can offer you a purpose. A chance to be someone different."

He extended his hand. Mirai stared at it, then at the phone in his other hand. After a moment of internal debate, she slowly lowered her axe. "Fine," she said, her voice barely a whisper. "I'm in."

The unlikely trio continued their journey through the woods, the tension still thick in the air. As they walked, they heard a small cry for help. They found a little girl, no older than six, huddled beneath a tree, her clothes torn and muddy.

"Are you okay?" Tundra asked, her voice filled with genuine concern.

The girl looked up, her brown eyes wide with fear. "I'm lost," she whimpered. "And I'm scared."

Admin scanned her with his phone. "Eyrie," the screen read. "Defense Magic Proficiency. Adoptable."

Without a word, Admin summoned a new set of clothes for Eyrie – a simple tunic and trousers made of sturdy material. He handed them to her, and she gratefully changed.

"You're safe now," Admin said, his voice surprisingly gentle. "You're with us."

Eyrie looked at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and confusion. She didn't understand why this strange man had saved her, but she knew, somehow, that she could trust him.

"I… I want to stay with you," she said.

Admin nodded. "Then you're part of the team."

With Eyrie now in tow, the group pressed onward, deeper into the Whispering Woods. They were an odd assortment of misfits – a emotion sprite, a guilt-ridden assassin, a little girl, and a detached man with a reality-bending smartphone. But they were a team. And they were ready to face whatever Mishanter threw at them.

The first night in the Whispering Woods was unsettling. The rustling of unseen creatures and the distant howls kept Eyrie close, clinging to Tundra's side. Mirai remained withdrawn, sharpening her axe with a rhythmic shink-shink that grated on Admin's nerves. He knew they needed to establish some semblance of order, of safety, if they were going to function as a team.

Admin sat hunched near a makeshift fire, the light from the flames reflecting off his eyepatch. He stared at Tundra, who was attempting to comfort Eyrie with a series of projected images on her TV screen – a cartoon cat chasing a laser pointer, a calming field of flowers. A thought struck him. A dangerous, potentially reckless, but undeniably intriguing thought.

"Tundra," he said, his voice cutting through the night sounds. "Come here."

Tundra, startled, looked up, her white-dot eyes wide with concern. "Is something wrong, Admin?"

"I have an idea," he said, his expression unreadable. "A way to… improve your capabilities."

He tapped a series of commands into his phone, bringing up a complex interface. "I can alter your form, Tundra. Enhance your physical presence. Give you… a more human body."

Tundra tilted her TV head, her cat ears twitching. "A human body? But… I like my TV head. And I'm already a useful teammate!"

"This isn't about replacing who you are, Tundra," Admin explained, his voice surprisingly patient. "It's about unlocking your potential. Giving you greater strength, greater resilience. You'd still have your TV head, your electric magic, but you'd be… more."

Mirai stopped sharpening her axe, her curiosity piqued. Eyrie looked up with wide, hopeful eyes.

Admin understood that the risks are very high, but he trusted in her abilities.

Admin proceeded without saying any words of his plans.

Admin manipulated his phone to turn Tundra into a Human, his phone glows white as the data gets processed, this change takes a lot out of Admin as he starts to lose energy and feel extremely tired.

The Phone lets out a Ding sound as Admin is finished with the changes.

A flash of light erupted from Tundra, bathing the clearing in an ethereal glow. When the light faded, Tundra stood there, but she was… different. Her TV head remained, the gray screen displaying her signature white-dot eyes and simple mouth, but now it was attached to a petite human body. She was still short, barely reaching Admin's waist, but she now possessed arms, legs, and a fully formed torso. Her skin was pale, almost translucent, and her limbs were delicate, yet surprisingly strong.

Tundra stared at her hands, flexing her fingers in amazement. "I… I have a body," she whispered, her voice filled with awe.

"Are you okay, Tundra?" Eyrie asked, her voice laced with concern.

Tundra looked at Eyrie, then at Admin, then back at her own body. A wide, genuine smile spread across her TV screen. "I'm amazing!" she exclaimed. "Thank you, Admin!"

Admin, who was looking extremely exhausted said "You're Welcome, Now rest well, you'll need it." as he collapsed to the ground while falling asleep,

Mirai watches over Admin to ensure he's okay, she sits down next to him and sharpens her axe while looking around for any potential dangers.

Eyrie proceeds to move next to Mirai in order to comfort her after she regrets killing her only friend.

The next morning, Admin woke up feeling refreshed, although the memory of last night's stunt was still lingering. He had used a significant amount of his energy altering Tundra's form. He couldn't afford to be so reckless again.

He needed a way to travel faster, to cover more ground. The nearest village, according to his phone, was about a day's walk through monster-infested territory. He needed transportation.

He tapped a series of commands into his phone again, this time focusing on vehicles. He scrolled through the options – armored trucks, motorcycles, even a freaking tank. But none of them felt right. He needed something… practical, something reliable, something that reflected his own unique… aesthetic.

He finally settled on a customized, heavily modified Humvee. It was painted a matte black, with reinforced steel plating, all-terrain tires, and a roof-mounted turret (just in case). The interior was surprisingly luxurious, with leather seats, a state-of-the-art sound system.

He pressed the "Summon" button.

A low rumble filled the air, and a moment later, the humvee materialized in the clearing, its headlights cutting through the morning mist. It looked like something straight out of a post-apocalyptic movie.

Admin grinned. "Behold," he announced, gesturing towards the vehicle. "Our mobile base."

Tundra gasped, her TV screen displaying a series of hearts. "It's so cool!" she exclaimed.

Mirai raised an eyebrow, but even she couldn't deny the practicality of the vehicle. Eyrie simply stared, wide-eyed, at the massive machine.

Admin opened the driver's side door and climbed in. "Alright, everyone," he said. "Time to hit the road. Our first stop: Lazarus Village. We need supplies, information, and… possibly, allies."

He turned the key, the engine roared to life, and the car lurched forward, leaving the Whispering Woods behind. The journey had begun.
