Chapter Two: Inner Voice

“Let’s hangout after classes okay?” Hinata, with a cheerful face got out on the 30th floor.Hangout……………. Huh?Ding! In no time at all, the door opened once more on the 50th floor.I got off and set foot in the classroom.The class is about fifty square feet in size with equipment for various classes neatly arranged behind the wall screen. I cant remember the last time I saw a book(Not literal) because of the advancement in technology, books have become rare items.“I-Infinity……..” The Professor paused as he saw me enter. He was wearing plain clothes with a lab coat, a mustache and glasses that describe someone who’s been researching all his life.It’s only right that he’s nervous. I mean come on……………. I know everything he doesn’t.Like an only star in an incredibly dark night, I received stares from everyone.Looking around the class, I saw just how determined the other four students were.There is absolutely no competition between us, there has never been. And it’s not like they can do anything about it.Upon entering class 7: I vowed to never lose to anyone ever again because I got fed up of always coming second. But Instead of taking my studies serious I decided to join martial arts.And before I finished year 9 I mastered every martial arts there is in the world. Being a universal nation provided me with the opportunity to learn anything I wanted.Unlike studies, martial arts proved to be challenging because it’s not only the use of the brain.And now……………. I’ve become the ultimate being.“Please take a seat Red……. No, Infinity.” He staggered before this mighty being. Hmm? Was he trying to use my real name?I’m no longer a human so I gave up my name. Mentioning it has become a taboo in the academy world.“Boring! Boring!” why do I have to listen to lectures when I already know everything about them unlike the professor himself.“I know it is elementary knowledge to you, but it’s actually very interesting If you were to pay a little attention.”The Prof walked to my seat trying to persuade me.Yes! That’s how it’s supposed to be…….. I like people who understand their status.“Okay………. Continue.”  I guess I’ll play along since he knows the difference between us.The time went by in a flash and finally, the classes were over. I didn’t pay attention to anything at all.“Hey Infinity………….” The other four students walked up to my seat. My class consists of four boys and one girl. Make that three boys because I’m a god not human.“It’s been a month and a half since we began our second year and you are only just showing up? Must be nice being you.”The guy with a long face and a loose shirt spouted such nonsense.“Nice………….?” “While you were busy gaining more knowledge, your friend has been suffering in your stead.”“My……….. Friend?” Does she mean Hinata? The only girl in the class with the appearance of a complete geek informed me.“Yes. It’s a pity but she’s gone through so much in the hands of the 3 elites.” She? They always refer to him as ‘she’………. is it because he looks like a girl?The 3 elites: they were the best students in the high school, which made them the best in academia…….. That is before I joined.Before and after I broke the record, they always threatened me “If you know what’s good for you don’t get in our way.”We weren’t in the same year but they were still afraid of me……… Something only I can achieve.But now they’ve done it! I can take their bullies but I won’t allow anyone to touch Hinata!I angrily got out of my seat aiming for the door.“Hey take it easy, you can’t use martial arts on normal students.”I know that………. they would certainly die with a single punch from me. “Strength” I’ve become a lot stronger lately………… human weapons can no longer harm me.About a 3 minutes ride on the escalator machines, Just below the 3rd year building is where the 3 so-called elites and their fans meet.“I see cowardice…… has become a weapon for the weak.”Getting closer to them, I shrugged away.“CLAP CLAP CLAP” the 3 of them clapped their hands in joy seeing as they’ve found their prey.“Sorry guys, we have some business to take care of with our ‘record breaker’ here.”“Eh? He really did come to school.” “I know, he looks full of confidence.”The 10 or so followers, among which there were 7 girls left the location whispering and glancing at me as they walked away.“This way……” One of the 3 pointed to a hall nearby seeing as no one was watching. They are representatives from continents in the east, west and northern part of the world.They then entered the building and locked it when I entered. Even the hall was ginormous, enough to accommodate 3000 people comfortably. “Hiyaaah!” Just as I entered the hall, meters away from the stage, the elites went on a rampage. Like an unbreakable punching bag, they used anything they could find to hit and stab me. It seemed they were out for my life.“What are you guys……….. doing?”“It doesn’t hurt………. it doesn’t hurt at all” I said to anger them some more.“What did you say!?”“We were planning on going easy on you, but now we won’t hold back!”“Haa!” “Iyaaah!”Like girls who’ve been attacked by mice, the yelled pitifully as they continued hitting me for ten minutes.“Hah! Hah! Just what are you!?” “He-He hasn’t moved an inch since we started hitting him.”“Are you guys…………… finished?”They looked at the metal pipes they were using to hit me “Monster! You are a monster!” “A-All the rods have bent!?””Me…………..? A monster? Funny…….. coming from scum like you.”“I’ll take my leave now…………. If you are finished.”My uniform got all torn, I should order new ones.I haven’t felt pain in quite some time……. Just as I thought……… My body is no longer that of a human’s.{Took you long enough to figure that out.}It’s dark outside so I don’t think people will notice my appearance. Thinking that, I avoided the escalators and walked my way to the gate.I really didn’t need to hide at all. Considering the size of the school and number of students, only a few people can be seen when it’s gotten dark.Crossing the white line, dad waved at me from inside his car “YO!” He then parked in front of me seeing as I’ve ignored him.“Come on~ don’t be like that. The dean begged me to entertain them with your presence. Petty humans need your guidance you know.”I see. They can’t help but feel blessed by my presence. I got into the car and shut the door “Drive.” I said bossily.“Ylaus………… What happened to your uniform?”“Are you…… talking to me?”“You know I can’t call you Infinity like the others right?”“Leave me alone.” I looked out the window to avoid any conversation.Hinata…….. I was in a hurry when I left, he wanted to hangout after school.Tall buildings are everywhere in the city. The greater your knowledge the greater the treatment you receive.I was asked what I wanted after I broke the record and I pointed……….. “That!” At the castle just outside of the city rumored to be the meeting place of the “World Elites”.I received many other gifts from wealthy “Humans” including this car we are currently riding in.Riding in silence, we arrived home after half an hour’s ride.“Oh my~ how was your day my dear~.” Mom was waiting by the entrance to welcome me. Being welcomed after being away from home feels nice. It made me smile wholeheartedly. It wasn’t always like this. My parents weren’t always together with me.As though she enjoyed praising me, she continued “How was school today? Your godliness~?” “Stop it. You are his mother, you shouldn’t treat him like that.”“Hmph! You are just envious…………………….. Of my success.” Glaring down at dad, I ran up to my room and left them by the entrance.Upon entering the castle, a big hall enough to hold a ball or a party could be seen. And about 40 feet from the entrance, there are two stairs adjacent to each other leading to the second floor.Originally, the castle was decorated with paintings of the world elites and founders of academia. But right now, only portraits of my glorious achievements hang on the walls.If this were a real castle which houses a king, then my room would be the king’s chambers because of it’s size and unique design.Being the god I am, my room was decorated in pure white, lacking any childish or adolescent materials. Only the master bed and a chair next to it.What a day……………………. I’m not going back to school again.{It’s not like you have been going before.}I’m already leading the world…………… I don’t need a lame job.{You are right………….. I think it’s about time I come out.}Come out……………….? Wait! These are not my thoughts!{Hmm~ you just realized?………. Here hold my hand.}While I was still dazed by the sudden response, a transparent handmade it’s way out of my body as if piercing me from the inside.“What the hell!” I yelled out.{If you don’t hold it, I won’t be able to materialize.}Ma-Materialize? Subconsciously, I held the hand.{There we go……..}Like some sort of magic, with a dim blue light coming from my chest, a humanoid figure came out of my body.“.…………………………………”“AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I yelled at the top of my voice.“Ta-Da! What do you think? We’ve been together this whole time………………. My name is Laviina, and I’m a god. Wink.” she winked in a cute and daring manner.AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
