Chapter 10 Obelisk Fight

Without an extra word, Yanni tossed his shield towards Totanchinpys. Yanni had used his full strength to throw the shield and it was flying in the air at a terrific speed now. However, When it was about to touch Totanchinpys, she seized the shield softly, changed its direction back towards Yanni himself, and thus taking his own strength against him.

Yanni leant back, dodging the flying shield, which shot towards the wall and pierced into it. He breathed a sigh of fear. If that shield hit him instead of the wall, he would probably be cut into half.

Floria loaded her bow and shot but Totanchinpys dodged her arrow. She was moving too fast that all arrows missed her.

Daggers held in hand, Starsha charged towards Totanchinpys, As fast as a hunting leopard. With smooth dancing steps, she slashed towards Totanchinpys, every move aiming at her vital parts precisely.

However, assisted by her power armour, Totanchinpys was moving at a formidable speed, avoiding all Starsha’s strike. She was so agile that she sometimes even turned into a shadowy blur.

When Starsha became exhausted, Totanchinpys started to attack back, her fluorescent sickle-sword scratching on Starsha’s fine skin and leaving several bloody scars on its surface. Starsha groaned in pain and began to withdraw awkwardly.

Totanchinpys leaped into the air, and with a dexterous backflip, she kicked Starsha on her belly and sent her flying. Yanni stepped forwards and caught Starsha gently. Her wounds were bleeding horribly, out of which scarlet blood was streaming constantly.

“Surrender, Normanian criminals, you’re no match for me!” threatened Totanchinpys in Normanish

“Macchina Gloriosa is going to mechanize is world, right?” probed Floria.

“Achnosiris is working on this project which can benefit all the humans. We’re pathetic organic creatures. We’re emotional, irrational and weak. With the help of Mother Matrix, he had figured out a method to make automaton virus which could mechanize the whole earth,” revealed Totanchinpys

“You’re mad!” shouted Yanni.

“It’s not mad. It’s a feasible plan. You cannot imagine the power of the Mother Matrix,” explained Totanchinpys.

“What is the meaning of life if we become machines?” questioned Starsha.

“Because of human civilization! Don’t you want us humans to be a higher form of life and conquer the universe? Achnosiris will be a hero of all humans and …” answered Totanchinpys fanatically.

“Enough! Shut up! we’ll also stop your plan and destroy the Mother Matrix,” threatened Yanni.

“How silly you’re! The Mother Matrix is made of super-machinite, the hardest metal ever in this world. We figure out the recipe of the alloy with the Mother Matrix. It’s impossible for you to destroy it,” teased Totanchinpys.

“Isn’t solarite the hardest metal in this world?” questioned Aislina.

“Solarite doesn’t exist at all, OK? It only exists in fairy tales, just like the Sanctum of Life,” smirked Totanchinpys scornfully.

Starsha charged towards Totanchinpys once again while Aislina was shotting magical leaves towards her and Floria was shooting arrows. Moving fast with blurry shadows, Totanchinpys dodged all the leaves as well as Floria’s arrows and Starsha’s daggers.

Inside her power armour, she would never feel tired. She was a monster, a machine designed only to fight and slaughter.

Obviously, Aislina was irritated by her bothering agility. She summoned a formidably enormous ball of spore and tossed It towards Totanchinpys. This time, no matter how fast she was, she had no chance to dodge it since the diameter of that ball of spore was as long as the width of the corridor.

If they were fighting in a large open field, Totanchinpys might dodge her spore, but now they were in a close corridor, and thus she was doomed. Aislina’s deadly spore exploded on Totanchinpys’ power armour. Groaning, Totanchinpys fell to the ground.

At the same time, with all his might, Yanni pulled his shield out of the wall and tossed it towards Totanchinpys who just got up to her feet after being hit by Aislina’s magic. The shield didn’t miss her. Heavily, it hit her right on her chest, tossed her into the air and bounced perfectly back into Yanni’s hand.

Obviously, they had all underestimated Totanchinpys’ power. Very soon, Totanchinpys got up to her feet once again and stared ferociously at them, her gaze as aggressive as a bloodthirsty beast.

“Run!” shouted Floria.

The four began to run. Though Totanchinpys could run far faster than them, she had been injured by the four so she failed to catch up with them.

After two minutes, the exit of the court came into their sights. They ran out of the court and found themselves on the bustling street.

“Where shall we go now?” queried Yanni.

“We’re going to the Harbour of Flying Obelisks to rob an flying obelisk!” proposed Starsha.

“Steal an flying obelisk, why?” asked Aislina.

“I’ll explain it later. Follow me, I’ll show you the way,” commanded Starsha.

Starsha waved her hand, seeing which, a coachman rode a cart towards her and stopped it by her side.

“אַנְדַארֵי אַ פַארֵי אוּן גִירוֹ? דוֹוֵוי וווֹלֵירֵי אַנְדַארֵֵי?׃” [Wanna take a ride? Where do you want to go?] queried the coach man

“מִי דִיסְפְּיַאצֵי, דֵיוווֹ פְּרֵינְדֵירֵי אִין פְּרֵיסְטוֹ טְווֹ קַארֵّילّוֹ!׃” [I’m sorry, I need to borrow your cart!] apologized Starsha.

Before the coachman realized what was going on, Starsha kicked him out of the cart and got on his horse.

“Get in the cart!” she yelled to the rest of the team.

They went inside the cart and Starsha whipped the horse, moving the cart forwards towards the Harbour of Flying obelisks. The cart moved fast through the street, knocking over several unlucky passers-by.

Totanchinpys went out of the exit of the court too and stared violently at the back of the cart of the four. It was her first time to fail Achnosiris and failure was inacceptable for her, since she had never failed before …

The cart arrived at the Harbour of Flying Obelisks. There were many flying obelisks there. The Grey Factory had produced necroplanes too, which were also aircrafts, but being experts at mechanics, Macchina Gloriosa was better at constructing those flying machines.

Robbing an Flying obelisk was a piece of cake for the four. They got into the Flying obelisk and drove all the people inside it away. After that, Floria launched it. The Flying obelisk soared into the sky and left the harbour.

Flying obelisks were manufactured by Macchina Gloriosa. They resembled obelisks, but as their name suggested, they could fly.

Unfortunately, they were followed by Totanchinpys, their nemesis. She came out from nowhere and attempted to jump into the flying obelisk. She leaped up, throwing herself towards the outer surface of the flying obelisk.

Grabbing the outer surface, she cut a hole out on it. Floria raised the Flying obelisk high into the sky. The flying obelisk rose fast and within several seconds, it had arrived at heights of one hundred meters.

“Throw her down the flying obelisk!” shouted Yanni.

Totanchinpys climbed into the obelisk through the hole she cut out and prepared to launch her attack.

Aislina shot a cloud of spores, which exploded and tossed Totanchinpys off the Flying obelisk. A long freefall was waiting for her. Soon she would fall to the ground and be smashed into smithereens.

Yanni walked up to the hole that Totanchinpys cut out, bent down and looked downwards in order to check out the state of Totanchinpys.

She kept falling, falling and falling until some sort of flying carpet caught her, the rider of whom was Hetepasis. She lifted the flying carpet to the same heights as the aircraft. Made of machinite, the flying carpet was a carpet that could fly and there was a small cannon fixed on it.

Totanchinpys jumped from the flying carpet all the way back towards the flying obelisk once again. Elegantly, she jumped into the flying obelisk through the hole she cut out, her sickle-sword ready for blood.

“I will kill you all! Criminals!” cursed Totanchinpys.

Floria was driving the Flying obelisk in the cockpit but since Hetepasis had come here and it would be extremely difficult for Yanni, Aislina and Starsha to fight two enemies with power armours at the same time, she walked out of the cockpit in aid of them.

Hetepasis clicked a button on her flying carpet and abominable soundwaves started to come out of the cannon embedded on it.

The soundwave was rather destructive. When it reached the outer surface of the Flying obelisk, it fractured. Soon, the Flying obelisk would be fully broken by Hetepasis’ powerful soundwave.

Courageously, Yanni dashed up to the front of the cannon, his lunarite shield held in his right hand. The shield was absorbing the soundwave emanated by Hetepasis’ flying carpet. However, Yanni’s hand was trembling and the shield was fracturing slightly. Soon, his shield would reach its limits and be broken once again.

Totanchinpys charged towards Starsha and the latter dodged her fearsome sickle-sword with several dancing steps. It was her second time to fight with Totanchinpys face to face. Now she had been familiar with her moves and known how to deal with her.

However, Totanchinpys had been fully protected by her machinite power armour. Obviously, machinite was harder than lunarite, and it was impossible for Starsha to break Totanchinpys’ defence. Whenever Starsha’s dagger touched Totanchinpys’ armour, it would only leave some scratches on it, let alone cut it through.

While Starsha was fighting with Totanchinpys, Floria was loading her bow, preparing for a supersonic shot. After ten seconds, she unbent her finger and her arrow flew towards Totanchinpys at supersonic speed.

Though her arrow didn’t pierce through Totanchinpys’ armour, she was impacted heavily and knocked to the ground by it.

At the same time, Aislina summoned a cloud of green gases, which flew up to Hetepasis and wrapped her whole. When she was distracted by that cloud of green gases, Aislina conjured a strip of vines and wound it round the flying carpet of Hetepasis.

With one swift she pulled the flying carpet and changed its direction. Using her vines to pull the flying carpet, Aislina re-aimed the cannon at Totanchinpys who had been knocked to the ground by Floria’s supersonic shot.

The soundwave really made Totanchinpys suffer because not only her armour but also her body was vibrated by the soundwave. Her power was given by her power armour and thus her body couldn’t stand such a high frequency of vibration. Moaning in agony, she passed out in a dead faint.

Hetepasis pressed a button on her flying carpet, and her seat was ejected out of the falling flying carpet. It flew into the Flying obelisk through the hole that Totanchinpys cut out.

“Damn it!” cursed Hetepasis.

“You’ve lost, Hetepasis,” announced Floria.

“Have I?” smirked Hetepasis.

The instant her voice broke off, her pair of sistra began to vibrate and emanate a surge of soundwaves. It was the bewitching soundwaves of mind control and since they could only control males, Hetepasis aimed them at Yanni.

Yanni was hit by the soundwaves. His consciousness began to fade and gradually his mind was in domination of Hetepasis.

Loading her bow, Floria decided to shoot Hetepasis. However, she was attacked by Yanni who was being controlled Hetepasis. Wielding his shield, Yanni ran up to Floria and hit her on her arm. Impacted by Yanni, the arrow missed Hetepasis. Yanni kept attacking with his shield and Floria parried it with her bow.

“What are you doing, Yanni!?” yelled Floria.

“His mind is controlled by Hetepasis! Hold on! I’ll handle this!” shouted Starsha.

Brandishing her bow, Floria struck her brother with her bow, but Yanni blocked her strikes with his shield and beat back Floria on her chest, knocking her to the ground.

At the same time, Starsha dashed up to Hetepasis, did a backflip and kicked her on her belly. Hetepasis lost balance and fell over. Following up her advantage, Starsha stabbed towards Hetepasis but the latter kicked up her legs on Starsha’s belly and repulsed her.

Although Starsha failed to hurt Hetepasis, the latter had stopped releasing those mind-controlling soundwaves so that Yanni commenced to wake up gradually.

Standing up to her feet, Hetepasis shot several gusts of soundwaves towards Starsha. Moving agilely, Starsha dodged those soundwaves with her dancing steps.

Smirking scornfully, Hetepasis moved her hands in a weird way and those gusts of soundwaves she shot were laid out in the air in a whacky way, becoming more difficult to dodge. One of those surges of soundwaves didn’t miss Starsha and hit her exactly on her chest.

“After our last fight, I used the Submatrix inside my power armour to analyse your fighting pattern and developed a special programme to fight against you. You won’t win!” teased Hetepasis.

She walked up to Starsha, deciding to give her the final blow. However, she was entangled by some vines crawling up from under the dock, which was conjured by Aislina.

Roaring madly, Hetepasis’ sistra began to vibrate, generating a destructive surge of soundwaves and tearing those annoying vines into pieces. Turning to Aislina, she began to shoot soundwaves with both hands.

Aislina wrapped herself with a barrier of vines, but Hetepasis’ soundwaves were rather powerful and those vines were soon blasted into pieces.

Fortunately, Yanni woke up from the bewitchment completely and charged towards Hetepasis, forcing her to use one of her hands to shoot soundwaves to repulse Yanni, and thus Aislina only needed to withstand the soundwaves from one hand of her.

Floria loaded her bow, aimed at Hetepasis and shot. The arrow reached sonic speed, impacting on Hetepasis and sending her hurtling off the Flying obelisk.

In panic, she opened her parachute. Floria shot some arrows towards Hetepasis’ parachute. Hetepasis wanted to murder them and they couldn’t show her any mercy.

Unluckily, Hetepasis generated some defensive soundwaves with her sistra, forming a barrier against Floria’s arrows. In her sight, the figure of Hetepasis became smaller, smaller and smaller until she disappeared in the distance.

The flying obelisk kept sailing towards and in front of the flying obelisk was a sea of grey thunder clouds. Visible electricity was flowing inside the greyish clouds, giving off crispy sounds of destructive energies.

“The flying obelisk was sailing into the thunder clouds!” exclaimed Yanni.

They needed to turn the flying obelisk to sail away from the thunder clouds, but it was too late. The flying obelisk was not that easy to control. A pillar of lightning descended from one of the thunder clouds over them and struck heavily on the console of the flying obelisk, blasting it into useless ruins.

Now there was no way to control the flying obelisk. Electricity was running through the sea of dark thunder clouds. Thunders were rumbling and lightnings were buzzing.

Finally, a surge of lightning hit one of the propellers of the flying obelisk. Losing balance, the flying obelisk commenced to fall.

The four joined in a group hug to protect vital parts of each other. They didn’t know what would happen next and all of them closed their eyes in horror. They were feeling nausea and weird weightlessness, their organs were screaming due to high falling speed.
