Chapter 6
My NPC Elf princess wife took me into the game and gave me a harem.
Sitting between Philomena and Yuna at Miss. Tanaka's table, eating. He listened to the three of thrn talk, noticing how Philomena's distrust and original anger of Miss. Tanaka's existence faded into a warm smile and friendly banter.
"So, Philomena. You seem to know Inoue and Yuna very well. I thought you just transferred schools today. How is it that you three are so close already?"
Looking up from his food, Inoue waited for the reply. Wondering for the first time himself, how Philomena knew so much of about them both, as well as how close she and Yuna had become over the hour between gym class and when they stopped Hikaru.
"Oh, well. I've been close to Inoue ever since I can remember. Almost as if I've always been by his side."
Looking at him with lovestruck eyes, Philomena sighed as Yuna nodded.
"Philomena actually grew up around the same neighborhood as Inoue and me. The three of us were really close but then Philomena's family had to move away from her Dad's work. Her parents let her come back on her own. They're very rich."
Nodding in understanding, Miss. Tanaka smiled as she watched Philomena feed him.
"I'm glad Inoue has such kind and caring friends to care for him. I'm always worried sick about him living in that room by himself."
She admits as Philomena wipes his mouth with a napkin.
"You don't have to worry about that anymore. I'll be staying with Inoue from now on."
A look of relief and worry formed on Miss. Tanaka's face as Yuna nodded.
"We're both staying with Inoue tonight."
Looking at Yuna, Miss. Tanaka tilted her head in confusion.
"The both of you? For what reason? Not to make it sound like I distrust you kids. I've just never known anyone to sleep over at Inoue's."
"Oh, well... A boy in our class and two girls from a different class decided to go a bit too far bullying Inoue yesterday and today. He brought up alot of stuff from his past and referenced som not great times and decisions. He even threatened to come to Inoue's appartment to get revenge on him when me and Philomena stopped him earlier."
Hearing Yuna's explanation, Miss. Tanaka's motherly instincts kicked in and she reached across to hold Inoue's hand.
"Oh, my dear boy. Are you ok. Do you need me to come over?"
Shaking his head, he managed a smile.
"It's ok Miss. Tanaka. Yuna and Philomena are gonna stay over and my room isn't that big and I don't want to bother you. Besides, I don't think Hikaru, Kohaku and Megumin would actually come over anyway."
Nodding reluctantly, she patted his hand, respecting his choice.
"All right. I trust you, Dear. Just promise me that if anything happens that you'll run right here. You have the spare key and you three are welcome to stay here if you feel unsafe. Ok?"
As all three nodded while heading for the door, Miss. Tanaka watched.
"Anytime of the night. Just come on in and make yourselves at home. Goodnight, dears."
She waved as they left, taking a deep breath before turning back to the kitchen.
Laying on his back on his bed, squished between Yuna and Philomena who were both asleep, he wondered how Philomena could actually exist and why Yuna was working with her. Almost as if she knew who and what she was.
Looking at their sleeping faces, he closed his eyes as Philomena hugged him tighter.
"No one will ever hurt you again, Darling. No one hurts my Darling and lives. No one will ever love you more then me."
Hearing her words, he opened his eyes to see her staring at him with a demonic like smile and lovestruck eyes.
"It's ok, Darling. Just sleep. I'm here now to protect you. Just let your wife handle everything from now on. I'll love and pamper you the way you deserve. No one will ever take you from me. No one will hurt you snd get away with it. And no other women will come between us and if any woman tries, I'll make sure they don't live long enough to regret it.
Looking at Yuna as she spoke, he calmed when he saw that she was peacefully asleep.
"Don't worry. I won't touch her. Or Miss. Tanaka. They love you just like I do. That means that I love them just as much as I love you. Besides. I know how much they mean to you. And you're happiness is what matters the most to me, Darling. Now go on. You should get some sleep. And if you have any nightmares, I'll be a good wife and shew them off for you."
Petting his head, she kissed his cheek, watching with a smile as he closed his eyes and drifted off.
