Dragon

A dragon hit him with his tail, and Hikaru went flying some distance crashing into some trees. Standing back despite some broken ribs he stared at the dragon. The sword broke in half when he tried to block the attack.

Grey coloured from head to tail he was glaring at Hikaru with bloodlust. Breathing heavily and filled with rage. Covered in tough scales. Bat like wings light grey at the bottom. Long fearsome dagger like teeth. Two horns at head and two short ones at the side of the mouth opening.

Hikaru snapped out of admiring his/her beauty and ran towards the way out of the dungeon.

“Sir?” One lady yelled

“Dont come out!!”

The dragon flew in the air and screamed. Hiakru didn't like the thought that he was calling for others.

The dragon dashed towards, trying to catch him in claws. Hikaru raised the ground and went into the sky, the dragon startled backward. Aimed his mouth at Hikaru, Hikaru had a bad feeling for what was about to come, he jumped down.

He breathed our fire, melting the raised ground. Haikru landed slowly on the ground and backed off to avoid melted lava flowing down.

“Sir?” a child yelled which shifted the dragon's attention.

He flew there and positioned his mouth opening in the hole, ready to breath out fire.

Hikaru launched himself in the air and landed on the head of the dragon. Hiakru fired some rapid stone at the back of his neck but it barely did any damage.The dragon shook his head vigorously to throw away Hikaru.

Hikaru used magic and raised gravity, slamming the dragon into the ground.The dragon bellowed.

The baby dragon roared from the hole. The dragon struggled more, the strength of the dragon overpowered the gravity pressure and shook Hikaru letting him fall back on the ground.

The baby dragon came out flying from the hole.

“Hey wait!!” The children and ladies climbed out, as well as the left tied by June was dragged out by viola and one lady.

“Go back!” Hiakru shouted.

The bigger dragon moved his head in their direction, almost ready to kill them. The baby dragon flew to him and did some chat in their language which vanished his rage.

“Mother or father?” questioned Hikaru.

The wind started bowing even crazier, when Hiakru looked around he saw two dragons approaching them. They landed near them. The children and Ladies ran back into the cave when they saw them coming. One with black scale and one with white. Bigger than the grey scale one.

Hikaru a meter away from being crushed by their feet.Looking at their peaceful reunion.

“Mother,Father, brother?”

After their peaceful moment, the dragon Hikaru was fighting and the other two stared at Hikaru for a while.Hakru was also busy admiring their beauty. The bay dragon came closer and roared in front of him.

Hikaru couldn't understand what was going on but he knew one thing that the dragons were smart creatures so he assumed that the baby dragon explained everything to them.

After a moment of no movement by either of the dragons, Hikaru called out the children and ladies.

Scared and exhausted, they hide behind Hikaru. The baby dragon broke the chains of the fears and invited them in front of the other dragons. After a while of hesitating and staggering they opened up to the other dragons as well.Hikaru was healing his bones back in the meantime.

“Do any of you know the way back?” Hikaru asked the ladies. The childers were playing with the dragons. The grey scaled dragon was standing beside Hikaru and the ladies near a tree. The elf was tied to the tree.

“We are very far from any inhabited place. It will take at least a week to reach the nearest seasie habitat.”

“Huhhh…i dont want to walk”

The grey scaled dragon Hikaru was fighting lowered his head towards Hikaru.

“What?”

The dragon rubbed his head on Hikaru's chest and lowered his back.

“What?”

Hikaru was pushed by the dragon on his/her back.

"Maybe she is offering a ride back.” One of the ladies guessed.

‘Really?”

She nodded.

“Youa re a female?”

She nodded again.

“Thanks!!!” Hikaru hugged her back.

It didn't take much time for him to realize that all of them can't ride her alone.

“But…all of us… can't ride on your back.Ahh…..there is no other choice than walking.”

The other two dragons came and lowered their backs.

“Are you saying that some can ride on your back?”Asked Hikaru

One of them nodded.

“Thanks!!”

Hikaru estimated the space taken by each person and made an assumption that all of them would be able to ride on their backs.

It was almost evening. They were riding on the back of the dragon's. Hikaru, viola, Fella and one lady were on the grey dragon. The baby dragon was not with them.

“So what are we gonna do about him?” the lady asked

“Who?” asked Hikaru.

She pointed at the elf hanging in mid air supported by the vine in hands of Hikaru as they kept flying. Red bruises were formed around the part where the vine was tied on his hand, the fear that the vine could break any second made his legs tremble even in the sky.

“Oh! I forgot about him. Well… I am just going to tie him to a tree near the ef territory and also gonna drop the ones who live there. A little away from the area where no one can see us land. Are you from there?”

“Yes.”

“Then tell the guy Venec that there was a traitor among them…..Oh and don't mention my name or anything about me to them or you will be involved in a big mess.”

“Why?”

“Eh…..I did something there so he is angry with me. Well….. Just don't tell him about me.”

“...Okay”

Around the time of twilight they reached the Seasie territory. They landed a little close to some houses and not in the middle of their territory so that they wouldn't scare them.Fella climbed down there with 5 others, 2 ladies and 3 childs.

“You are a Seasie?”

Fella combed back her right side hair with her right hand showing Hikaru her slightly long webbed ears.

“You didn't notice?”

“No.” Hikaru said as he stared hard at them.

Fella got embarrassed and hid them back. Some people came with swords and spears in hand to check as they saw the dragon land.

The ladies went ahead and told them everything.One of them ran back to call their parents and relatives.

After a while they came running back. Hugging and crying as they reunited. Hikaru signaled others that they were going.They climbed back on the dragon's.

“Are you not going to stay for the night?” The father of one child asked.

“It's…..” Hikaru looked at others and thought for a while.

All of them were wearing their worn off clothes and covered in bruises, they didn't even have food for days. It was a matter of time before one of the children or adults would collapse if they didn't take a rest.

“Can you wait until tomorrow?" Hikaru asked the Dragons. They agreed.

The elf kidnapper was tied outside to a tree and the dragons were keeping an eye on him.

The Seasie’s provided them a place to stay, food and took them to a bath near a hot spring. At night they got a good sleep and woke up the next day for the departure.

Hikaru asked for a quill pen and a paper, and put them in his robe inner pocket. He was thinking of a way to pass a message to Yuki so that she could try healing Viola’s vision, he didn't want to set a foot out of his house when he reached there before he had made sure that there were no elf guards or someone searching for him there.

They thanked them for their hospitality and headed towards the elf territory. It was not so far from there, they reached the outskirts in an hour. No one was around, some of them dismounted there. The elf was tied to a tree again, one of the lady was going to inform about him to vence or some guards. Rene gave Hikaru a tight hug before going back.The other two dragons went back to the baby dragon.

5 people left. Hikaru, viola, one lady and 2 girls. The grey dragon was taking them back to the island.

“So how are we going to……I mean get off on the island, we can't land there on the dragon. It would surely make a scene if we took the dragon there. In the seasei territory we avoided it by landing a little far, though some people still saw us and came with weapons to attack."The lady asked.

“That's…..That's a really good question.” Hiakru thought for a while and came up with” No other choice, we have to swim back there.”

“Are you saying that we have to drop off in the middle of the ocean and swim back to the coast?” Viola asked, making a face of disagreement.

“I hate the idea as much as you do but we don't have any other choice.i also have to do something about the paper and quill pen, maybe i could find a new one at home even if they got wet.”

“But why don't you want to be seen by anyone?” asked one of the girls.

“I just…..did something which angered the elves and I don't want to be captured by them again.”

“What did you do?” Viola asked. Their curiosity was raised.

“Nothing too serious…..in my opinion. Forgot about that, You three are going to go back to the MIxed Race continent right?”

“Yes”

“Dont forget to tell the person in charge of your region or someone even higher up if you know anyone that there are more illegal slave in market so they should investigate in depth about it and inform other region for illegal slave selling.”

“ I don't know any higher ups but I can tell directly to the head of our region, he could send a letter regarding it to Nerk kingdom”

‘Anyone helps until he takes some action.”

The land of the island was faintly visible as they reached close. The ocean shook for a second, making large waves head towards the coast of the island. Viola noticed something through her vision and shouted

“Stop!!”

The dragon slowed down after hearing it, after one second she also felt something, she dashed back like she was trying not to get caught in something.

4 Pillars came out of the ocean, one from beneath them in the direction they were heading and others around the island, making a square when connected. Much longer than mountains and width equal to two fully mature dragons. Some ancient language words written on it as Shodo(Japanese calligraphy) from head to a little above the curved base.

They shifted towards the island when they were fully out of the ocean and attached its curved base at the island part underneath the ocean, water not covering any of the calligraphy. They glowed for a sec, the light faded away after another sec.

‘What’s Happening??” Hikaru mumbled in shock.
