Chapter Eighty Two: Saving Leila

The restaurant we went to was fancy alright. We got a whole room just for ourselves.
The wall was made of fancy sparkly wood. The lighting was in a form of a chandelier big enough to fit the room size and the table was made with glass and covered with white cloth. The seats were also soft. The room was made to accommodate two couples.
It was my first time entering a place like that so I was a bit anxious and nervous. Etis went and picked one of the biggest restaurants in the city. We would have never been allowed to enter if the girls hadn’t gone all out with their dresses. A lot of attention turned towards us when the people inside saw Etis’ chest. It was only natural. I’m sure some of them men will fight with their wives upon returning home. I had to book a room just so that she wouldn’t feel uncomfortable from all their stares. 
The restaurant has two floors. The first floor is where people generally eat. The second floor is for the VIPs. The waiter tried to hide his shock when I asked if we could get a room. Maybe he thought I couldn’t afford it? Well, too bad for his demi-human good looks.
I would have been okay with it if we just found some mediocre place but there is nothing that could be done. Etis looked very excited.
She’s been excited ever since we left the house. We planned on flying quietly so that we wont call attention to ourselves, but cheerfully shouted “Wow! I’m flying!” like a child.
It was the most natural reaction. Everyone wants to fly. 
Because of her shouts, we flew high in the sky until we arrived at our destination ten minutes later. It would have taken an hour to get to the restaurant northeast to the sacred land.
The food we ate was really good. It was about the same level as the food I eat at Lust’s place. That isn’t to say that Etis isn’t a good cook. The difference is just very clear. Well, it’s not like you can make expensive food in a diner. That will be calling for it.
We ordered many varieties of food. Ingredients I’ve never seen before were mixed in everywhere. The only problem is that the servings on the plate are small. I wont get full eating small amounts of food.
Despite all that, the bill we received was out of this world. 5 gold coins!!! it was outrageous!
With 5 gold coins, the three of us can eat good food for two whole weeks!! 
The room cost was 50 silver coins. That alone can feed us for 3 days. Then there is the food and the wine the girls ordered. Yep. The girls ordered wine. I'm sure Etis is of drinking age but i don't know about Meila. Though I'm sure she's a little older than me. 
How did it even get there?
“This is so good! I wish we can get some delicious drink to chow down with.” Meila exclaimed. 
The waitress who was just about to leave heard that and suggested a few drinks and one thing led to the other. One bottle cost 1 gold coin.
The both of them got drunk easily. I could have stopped them if I’d wanted to but I felt they should enjoy the night to its fullest. Etis tried acting like an older sister to Meila and ended up drinking more than her.
It was a pain getting one of them to pull out the money from my Dauka. They poked at my body as if I was referring to it.
Duddul was waiting outside. I had both of them lean on me as we left the restaurant. Leaving with two drunk girls nearly ruined my reputation. Not that I had any to begin with. 
Spending those gold coins in one night is too extravagant. They should learn how to hold back. The added ten silver coins was the tip I gave the person who waited on us. Not because she’s a beautiful bunny girl or anything. It just felt right. I’m sure her whole pay for the day wont be above ten silver coins.
The night ended peacefully. The girls slept on Duddul on our way back. Duddul and I entered their room and dropped them on the bed in their dresses. It was good thing they slept. I wouldn’t want them to drunkenly do something they might regret.
The next day was just as peaceful. After vomiting what they ate in the morning, they couldn’t make breakfast so I had to do it.
When it was a little past noon , I left the house saying I was going to meet a friend. I went to Lust and stayed over for six hours. I made sure to wear my black gear so that her scent wont stick to me.
I returned home at around ten and quickly went into the bath. Lust doesn’t let me use her bathroom. It’s like she’s hiding something in there.
There are other reasons why I take a bath after I visit her, but the most important is that I have to be careful about her scent. Even though I know it doesn’t stick to my body, it wont hurt to be careful.
It was while I was in the bath that a strange thing happened; as if Etis was just waiting for me to enter the bath, she came in with only a towel.
Moving like an embarrassed robot, she walked slowly behind me. I stood up immediately when I felt her coming.
“Etis……….?”
She herself was embarrassed by what she was doing “I….. I came to wash your back.”
Wash…… my back?
It became an awkward atmosphere. The determination in her eyes was clear. She was set on doing it.
Etis sure has changed since the last time. She didn’t even know how males and female view each other before. Yesterday she ranted about how she made a friend who is a housewife. She learned a few things from her.
“No! I can do it myself!”
“.………. Please~? let me do it. I want to~.” 
The question is; how can I get her to not wash my back? 
I tried declining her offer but she didn’t back down. I would only hurt her good will by being stubborn. But at the same time, I shouldn’t be letting a girl wash my back when I have someone I love. Friends don’t wash each other’s back. 


The bath only took a brief moment. I'm sure she had other plans but I called an end to it just when she scrubbed my back. 
Outside, while feeling a bit down almost as if I had rejected her. She talked in a low voice asking why I couldn't use magic. 
“You wanted to play? But you cant use magic.”
“….………………………………??”
“How did you know that!?” 
“Simple. I saw some of your memories back then when I fell unconscious. I knew who you were since then.”
It cant be!! she saw my memories!?
“But then……………!”
“Yep~! I know you are the one they call a demon lord or something.”
“But then…………!!” why are you still with me?
“Why I’m not scared? Is there any reason why I have to be scared? You don’t hurt anyone right?”
“But then………!”
“Haha…… you are funny. Besides, no one goes to the nightmare forest whenever they want. That alone gives you away.”
“Ah………….” so it’s obvious huh?
“Hmm….?? is something wrong?”
The whole deal with Etis ended as it should. I didn’t make her cry. She left the bathroom smiling and I didn’t touch her or let her touch me after the backwash she gave me.
But man I’m something else. Maybe because of the dark power inside of me, but my libido doesn’t seem to get weak. I had my moments with Lust before Etis met me in the bathroom but I still got hard nonetheless.
The next day after my bath with Etis, I left home around and went to Lust. She mentioned how I’ve been coming early. I told her that the monsters in the dungeon are tough so I only fight one monster a day.
On my way to her, I noticed that the nobles in our neighborhood were having an in fight between themselves. When I mentioned it to her, she said “Well it’s only right. The king is in a bad mood so his anger is directed towards the nobles. Whereas the nobles are now inflicting pain on the poor……..”
That was fine to me. I had no reason to concern myself on their disputes. But then I asked the reason behind the king’s anger.
“Long life. He’s always wanted to extend his life span by going overboard. Now that he’s a little over forty, he’s beginning to get desperate. About two years ago, a high ranking noble was supposed to bring him a vase that extends a person’s life. But he carelessly broke it. The king has been suppressing his anger since then. Now he cant take it anymore.”
The noble that was supposed to deliver the vase is none other than Leila’s master. If the king punishes him then………………………..
“It can’t be!! Leila!!!” in an enraged state, I dashed out of her room and took to the sky. Minutes later, I crashed inside the sacred land’s barrier from above the clouds.
The blue pendant on my neck guided me to house I was after.
“GAAMM!!” I crashed inside a building destroying the roof.
“KYAAAA!!!” “WHO ARE YOU!!??”
The building I crashed into was the servant’s chambers. When the dust cleared; I was able to see outside of the room from the door.
In the lawn, a fat short man was holding a thick whip. Below him was a demi-human girl with silver hair with her back exposed. She pulled down her uniform to show him her back.
His eyes were red from anger. All across, the two children, a wife and many other maids had scornful eyes towards the girl on the ground. Her back was red with whiplashes.
“Leila!!” she instantly turned around when I called. Eyes filled with tears.
Damn you!!
I don’t care if you are a noble…. I don’t care if I cant fight the races….. I don’t care what happens to me…… “How dare you hit Leila!!??”
I dashed out of the building and into the lawn towards the man with the whip. It doesn’t matter if all my strength gets taken away when I’m up against the races. All I have to do is summon however little strength I have and “Punch you!!”
Even though my movements and abilities were weak facing a man of the races. The speed at which I dashed was remarkable. While still in air, I clenched my fists and threw a brain shattering punch at him. The force took him flying. He crashed into a room unconscious.
“KYAAA!!” the maids and family members shouted. His two children were only about ten years old. It seems Leila was taken out of the Servant chambers to be punished.
She looked away from me when I got close “Leila……….” 
I pulled her arm up and hugged her in my arms. Her chest was fully exposed. Her maid outfit was pulled down to the waist.
Without thinking, I grabbed the edge of her clothes and pulled strongly. The clothes tore like a rag. She was left only in her underwear and gray stockings.
I ducked a bit to the ground then jumped powerfully straight to the sky. I didn’t change my direction until after leaving the barrier. Instead of going west, I went east flying at a speed which I haven’t moved before. I did that to lose whoever might be watching.
Once outside the barrier, I glanced at the incredibly huge golden castle for the king. “Damn you all!”
After reaching far east, I curved west. Leila stayed quiet in my hands. She held tightly on my shirt with her fingers. She was crying……….
I didn’t say a word to her. I moved with super speed until I was in our neighborhood. I aimed at our house from high up and landed in a flash. The air wave was almost dangerous.
“I’m never letting you go back there again. I don’t care what happens. I’ll fight the king if I have to.”
But Leila was the only worry I had for the day. Etis was nowhere to be found. Meila had no idea how or when she left the house. Her things were still in their room but she was gone.
