I am pleasantly surprised.
With a gimmick like this, it tends to be very boring at the end. Heck, it should be boring in the second episode, but they surprised me.

How did I find this?
I actually want to watch anything. ANYTHING that came from Muse Asia. I've said it in my DanDaDan review that they purposely delayed 2 anime in their hand and released this. So, I was like, "You know what? Fine, I'll humor you", and watched the show.

Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
My intention is clear. I just want to watch something from Muse Asia, but to be honest, before even watching it, I kind of like the art style a bit. They look very different from the rest of the anime airing in this season.

The review;
Plot/Story
1 OP hero, and 3 women trying to kill him, going on an adventure.
That is the whole plot of this anime.
Hear me out here. That is a bullshit premise. Let me give you the real premise.
1 OP hero, 1 demon loli princess trying to enjoy life outside her castle, 1 REAL assassin that is actually very nice and kind toward everyone, and 1 sadistic woman who wants a strong man to be her pet, going on a journey that changes their lives. But more toward the girls!
I gave you this real premise because, at first glance, that first premise felt like a mislead. Once you watch the whole thing, it's mostly wholesome and humorous.

Though I have to point out that the story leaned sooooo much toward Ciel, the demon loli princess, life's. I get it, though; she is the demon lord's daughter, and the main goal of the journey is to kill her dad. Of course, she is going to get a big spotlight in the anime, but that doesn't mean Goa, the sadist woman, and Anemone, the real assassin, have to be away from some spotlight. They are as important as the Ciel.
Now, I know the two have their spotlight in some episodes, but the whole series felt like Ciel's story, NGL.

Character
Get this, guys!
I haven't said anything about the hero being too timid. Seriously, the gimmick was that every time he got embarrassed, whenever the girls teased him, he would faint.
That joke got repeated a lot and feels so dry so quickly. But that's the thing! I feel like you have to get bored with the hero. Same as Saitama from OPM. He has never been the center of attention, even in his anime. What you are watching here is the girls trying to be a better self.
When you get bored with the gimmick, eventually you find yourself focusing on the girls' stories.
Bonus point at the end, eventually, you're also going to care about Toto, the hero.

Trust me, the gimmick is so boring, but when you can bear it, you're actually eating a decent meal.

OST/SFX
OP is ehm... Something. 😂
I'm just going to say one thing...
Dangdut.
Have you heard about that music genre? It's popular here in Indonesia, and that opening song sounded so much like. It's very easy to get into the song and dance alongside it.
ED sounded very good, too. Very chill, actually.
And the OST in the anime itself is also great.

Animation
It's not too bad, and it's not too good either. It's decent and it's very much watchable.
Now, it's been a decade since I watched something from the Connect animation studio. In fact, the only anime I've watched from this studio was Strike the Blood. Based on that anime and this anime, their animation is still the same. I remember vividly that they did great with the action on StB, and they also did great on this project, which is very awesome to hear and see.

The good
I'm glad I stuck around until the end. That ending was something that I would never forget. Love the Goa's arc.
The bad
I want to watch season 2. I don't want to read it. I'm not joking. Please make that happen!
