Chapter 11: Consequences of the Poisoning Incident Leading to Imprisonment

While Lady Aurora continues searching for her brother, it seems Prince Lenoidas plan is about to begin. The servant walks over to Lady Aurora’s little brother Runolf and offers him a glass of wine.

“May I offer a glass of wine?” a servant asked.

“I am not allowed to drink that stuff,” Runolf refused at first.

“It is a celebration after all. Please take it.”

“Alright.”

The servant hands him the cup and walks away quickly before anyone sees her hoping to make a quick escape.

Runolf takes the cup close to his mouth and is about to take a sip of it. Lady Aurora finally finds her brother, “Runolf, don’t drink that!” Lady Aurora shouts trying to get his attention.

As Runolf takes a sip of the poisoned glass of wine, it tasted very strange to him. .

“I don't feel good,” Runolf said, holding on to his stomach.

After he drinks the wine, he suddenly collapses to the ground.

“Runolf, no!” Lady Aurora shouts as she runs to her brother’s side.

It seems the entire ballroom took notice and was watching what was going on. Especially for Prince Leonidas and Lady Sirena overjoyed this plan took an interesting turn as someone at least will get what they deserve. They both left before anyone knew it would be them causing chaos.

“Help, help please,” Lady Aurora shouts, trying to ask for help.

“Aurora, what happened?” Prince Mathias asked in shock to his side.

“It seems my brother has been poisoned.”

“Who would have done this?” Prince Mathias asked.

“I am not sure, but I saw a servant giving my brother a glass of wine and then he collapsed.”

“Guards search for this servant at once. Make sure no one leaves with a thorough investigation of their carriages and the grounds,” Emperor Axelle commands.

“Thank you, your majesty.”

“Now everyone, stand back. I only have a few more minutes before my brother dies to treat him.”

“Darling, you know what you are doing?” Lady Aurora’s mother asked.

“Yes, I read it in one of my books,” she answers quickly.

Lady Aurora quickly takes out the bottle of the antidote ready to pour it in her brother’s mouth.

“Your highness, please hold up my brother,” he orders.

“Sure.”

Lady Aurora begins pouring the “Immortal Antidote" for her brother in his mouth and it seems to be working. He regained some color on his face and he is breathing better.

As Prince Mathias watches her pour the antidote in her brother’s mouth, he witnesses a completely different side of Lady Aurora making him spark a change of feelings and emotions, but at the same time noticing a change in himself.

“Oh, my son,” his mother said, relieved.

“Well, done, daughter, save your brother. How did you make the cure?”

“Yes, I am studying medicine during my free time.”

“Very well done my daughter.”

“Thank you father. Now we better get Runolf home, so he can get some rest.”

“Yes, we should be heading home, you can stay here for a little while longer.”

“No, I think I should go back home with you, to take care of my brother.”

“Of course, we will wait for you in the carriage,” her father said.

“Yes, see you there.”

“I should go with you,” Prince Mathias offers.

“No, you need to stay here and calm your subjects on the situation,” Lady Aurora said, rejecting his offer.

“Very well, I will come visit you as soon as I can,” Prince Mathias explains.

“I will hold you to that, have a good evening, your highness,” Lady Aurora said, leaving the room.

With Lady Aurora’s departure, there are whispers among the people trying to entertain themselves.

“This is unforgivable, attacking a member of the Diamant family out of spite. I understand there is tension between the factions, but there is no need to attack a member of the Neutral Faction, it is unforgivable. Let me make something clear, if I hear another attack on one of my members of our empire, they will be severely punished, do I make myself clear,” Emperor Axelle orders his people.

“Yes, your majesty,” the crowd answers.

“Good, now I believe we had enough excitement for tonight, let us end the night here. Have a good night,” Emperor Axelle said, ending the party there.

The guests began to depart as the party officially came to an end. Many might have felt disappointment, but others simply enjoyed the party as a wonderful memory.

On the way out, Lady Aurora might have spotted Prince Leonidas with Lady Sirena speaking and she thought she would give him a piece of her mind.

“Prince Leonidas, you scum, how dare you poison my youngest brother…..,” Aurora said angrily.

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” Prince Leonidas mentions.

“Oh, I know what you did. That poison you have gotten is from the Vipera Guild.”

“Yes, it is, but you have no proof of that.”

“We will just have to see.”

“I would love to see you try,” Prince Leonidas said walking away.

“Is everything alright Cryst…I mean Aurora,” Nigel asks.

“No, it seems his highness poisoned my brother with one of the poisons from the Vipera Guild.”

“Those jerks.”

“Yes, well, I need you to find some evidence for me if you can. I need you to find out who they sold it to and why.”

“I can do that.”

“Thank you. Did you have fun at the ball?”

“Yes, I did have fun speaking with many of these high class nobles making deals with them for the guild and was able to make-out with a few of the women here.”

“I am glad, I will see you soon.”

“Yes, I will look forward to it.”

Nigel soon left, and Lady Aurora left in one of the royal carriages to her home.

As soon as Lady Aurora returns home, she walks up the stairs and heads over to her brother’s Runolf’s room where the entire family was there waiting for him to wake up.

“It is good you are here my daughter,” her mother said, greeting her.

“Of course, I was worried about Runolf.”

“I am glad it wasn’t you. If I can find who did this. I will have them punished.”

“Don’t worry about that father, we should worry more about Runolf recovering.”

“What is going on?” Runolf asked, waking up.

“Runolf!” the family shouted in excitement.

Runolf is slowly waking up and coughs after being so dehydrated from drinking the antidote.

“What a relief. I’m glad you’re okay, Runolf,” Aurora said as she felt relieved.

“Aurora, what happened to me?,” her brother Runolf said.

“You were poisoned and I quickly gave an antidote to save you,” Aurora explained.

“Thank you, for saving my life sister,” her brother Runolf said.

“It is my pleasure, we are family after all.”

“Who would have done this in the first place?” her mother asked.

“I believe it would be Prince Leonidas,” Lady Aurora mentions.

“His highness.”

“Yes, I believe he is doing all of this because of the fact he is angry at me for not accepting his marriage proposal.”

“Are you sure about that?” her father asked.

“Yes, well, I do not have all of the evidence yet, but we will know soon.”

“In any case, I am proud we have a doctor in the house to take care of us,” her father said.

“Thank you father, does this mean, I am allowed to study medicine for real,” Lady Aurora said hugging her father.

“Of course darling and do not worry about Prince Leonidas, I will have a talk with the emperor, as soon as possible.”

“We should leave Runolf to rest, and we should rest, we all had a pretty long night,” Lady Aurora advised the others to do.

“Yes, let him get some rest,” her father said, to the family.

Lady Aurora returns to her room to get some well-deserved rest. Getting dressed for bed, she recalls how lovely it was to be at the ball and finally be announced as the prince’s fiancee. She just hoped it did not make her a target for what comes next.

Before dozing off to sleep, she sees the messenger hawk with a letter. It was mostly thanking her for the time they had together at the ball and hopefully she enjoyed herself at the ball and hoping to see each other again real soon.

She quickly writes a letter to him back and sends it off to him. It also seems she got a letter from Nigel as well and she couldn’t believe what he found out.

Prince Mathias, still awake from the excitement of the ball, is still thinking how the night unfolded with his brother interfering with the most magical night of his life. It might have been ruined by the antics of his brother.

Then suddenly, the messenger hawk soon arrives and it is a letter from Aurora.

Dear Prince Mathias,

I wanted to write to you to let you know tonight was the most magical night I had in a long time. I loved everything about the ball. I even enjoyed the dances we shared, it was like a fairytale. It is a shame we didn’t share a kiss as we were announcing our engagement. Maybe next time. Have a good night, my prince.

He rereads the letter a few more times before falling asleep.

It has been days now since the ball and people could not stop talking about the ball and what transpired there.

On a different note, Arch-Duke Diamant returns to the palace to speak with the emperor to see what they can do about all these events that happened due to Prince Leonidas' jealousy. He also brought Lady Aurora with him, so she can plead her case.

“Welcome, Arch-duke, Lady Aurora, thank you for coming.”

“Thank you, your majesty,” they greeted together.

“Yes, my dear cousin, I wish to discuss something with you,” Arch-Duke says in frustration.

“I believe I know what it is? You wish to discuss my son Prince Leonidas and his many antics of trying to destroy your family,correct?” Emperor Axelle answers.

“Yes, how did you know, your majesty,?” Lady Aurora asks.

“Well, my son Prince Mathias here and my eldest son Prince Adalwolf informed me about his little revenge ploy to harm your daughter’s family.”

“Yes, I am aware,” Lady Aurora said, agreeing to her.

“Yes, I want this to revolve now. Your son tried to kill my daughter, your niece. He sent assassins to kill her, here at the palace, and try poisoning me and my son.”

“Yes, well, I will be taking care of that shortly,” Emperor Axelle replies.

“Thank you, your majesty.”

“Now, care to tell me about how you created the cure so quickly for the poison?” The empire asked.

“Yes, your majesty. I’ve been studying a lot about the medicine and medical field lately while discovering unique methods curing many and all types of poisons, venoms, and also creating resilience for many types of illnesses,” Lady Aurora explains.

“My quick thinking and your calm expression really make you a good doctor. In fact, I will make a recommendation for you to attend the royal medical academy,” Emperor Axelle replies.

“It would be a great honor, your majesty, I humbly accept your offer, your majesty thank you, but I would love to also explain my ideas for the academy I am creating as well,” Lady Aurora accepting his offer.

“Yes, that can be a conversation for some other day. Right now we have more pressing matters to deal with. Mathias, please escort our guests out. I do not want your brother to find out,” The emperor explains.

“Yes, your majesty. Please allow me to escort you out,” Prince Mathias offers.

“Thank you, your majesty. We’ll take our leave then,” Arch-duke Diamant said sincerely.

“Sure, Prince Mathias,” Lady Aurora said, kindly accepting the offer.

Lady Aurora, Prince Mathias, and the Arch-Duke are walking through the halls, but he thought he would have a private conversation with his fiancee.

“Wow you were simply amazing in there, how you handled my father.”

“Well, fathers are always worried about their children, you just have to handle them.”

“Very true.”

“I was wondering, have you created more of the antidote you used for your brother?”

“I do have some left, but I would have to make more. Why do you ask?”

“I was hoping to have some in case my brother plans on trying to hurt us again.”

“Not a problem, here are three bottles, take a small amount whenever you feel ill or with tea. Taking it in small amounts will help your body get used to it. If you run out you can always reach your doctor.”

“Funny, well thank you for this and I will come visit you soon.”

“I will be expecting it. Oh before I leave here is a letter from me, read it when you are alone.

“Very well, your highness, thank you for everything, we must be off,” Arch-Duke said, saying his farewells.

“Of course, your grace.”

Lady Aurora leaving with her father, it was now time to take action against his brother.

Now having heard about this medicine's existence, he hopes more can be developed so many of the citizens of the empire can be saved from their illnesses and live longer lives. At least now he has something to protect his mother and Arnor from any more chaos.

Before he goes to face his father and brother he begins to read Aurora’s letter.

Dear Prince Mathias,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I have received word from a guild I know about Prince Leonidas. It is true what he did was to kill my father and I during the ball, but it backfired. There is also something else I wish to discuss is that I discovered Prince Leonidas is infertile and unable to produce children and by tomorrow this rumor will be spread across the entire empire. He deserves the humiliation.

“I see, so this is your intention and plan to both punish and humiliate my older brother, Leonidas. Alright then let’s see how it plays out. This could be very amusing,” Prince Mathias said while smirking at the thought of how his brother would react.

Then Prince Mathias sees the palace guards making their way to where Prince Leonidas was hiding in his mother’s chambers and decides to join them.

In a few moments, they were able to barge in.

“In the name of his majesty, Emperor Axelle, Prince Leonidas you are under arrest for tension for the almost death of a political nobleman and his family,” the captain of the guard announced.

Then the guards charged him to drag him out of the room.

“I didn’t do it.”

“We have several witnesses proving you are the conspirator of this plan and you will be sent to the dungeon awaiting your trial, if the emperor waits that long for your punishment,” the captain remarks.

“Please, do not take him, he is innocent,” Queen Teigra pleads.

“We will have the emperor decide if he is innocent or not. I suggest you do not interfere and await his verdict,” the captain warns.

“No, not my son,” Queen Tiegra cries out.

Prince Leonidas is then dragged out in the halls and heading towards the dungeons. To his dismay, he sees his brother Prince Mathias watching him being dragged like a dog.

“I will get you for this,” Prince Leonidas angrily said as his final words.

“I would like to see you try,” Prince Mathias replied. “In fact, guards take my brother to the emperor, he needs to hear my brother’s confession.”

“Yes, your highness.”

The guards drag the prince to the throne room where the emperor is there ready to hear what the prince has to say.

“What is the meaning of this?” their father asked.

“I thought you would like to hear his confession from the liar’s mouth after all,” Prince Mathias. “Spill it, brother.”

“I have nothing to say.”

“Then you will speak to me, then,” Emperor Axelle kindly said standing up from his chair.

“Yes, well, I still will not speak to you father,” Prince Leonidas angrily replies.

“Fine, if you are not going to speak, I have enough evidence to arrest you and lock you in the dungeon for treason for the rest of your life, but if you confess now then I might be able to rescue your sentence, so tell me what is it that you are hiding,” Emperor Axelle threatened.

Prince Leonidas thought for a minute before answering and said, “Fine, if you want a confession, then fine I will say it, yes it was me who tried to kill the Arch-Duke and Lady Aurora because I was jealous that my brother has their support for his claim for the throne and stealing the woman I am in love with.”

“There you have it father, the “black sheep” has finally confessed. What shall we do with him now?” Prince Mathias, said kindly.

“Mathias that is enough. Well very well, I have come to a verdict. Prince Leonidas, you will be sentenced to the dungeon until you get a fair trial in court to determine if your actions will cost you everything you own,”

“Very well father, I can agree to these terms, but if the court sees me not guilty, there will be a point where I will get my revenge,” Prince Leonidas threatened his father.

“Please, your majesty, do not take him, imprison me instead,” Queen Teigra begged.

“Guards, take them away to the dungeon. Get them out of my sight,” Emperor Axelle ordered the guards to do.

The guards take him and his mother away as she is breaking down in tears.

“This is not the last time you hear from me, I promise you that,” Prince Leonidas vows as he exits the throne room.

“No, I will be ruined,” Queen Teigra said, as she only thought about her looks on what would happen to her in the dungeon.

“Thank you Mathias for bringing this to me now,” his father said.

“Of course father. I should tell Lady Aurora about the good news.”

“Yes, go tell your future wife the good news.”

Prince Mathias soon leaves the throne room to visit Lady Aurora and tell her the good news.

Now that one threat is over with, hopefully another threat does not arise because of this he might have changed an important event that took place in his past life, but he will not know until he notices actual changes in the empire itself.

Chapter 12:

The next day in the morning, rumors of Prince Leonidas’s infertility spread from the Imperial Capital slowly which everyone was talking about, so everyone in the Imperial Capital was curious as to if it was true. Soon Aurora receives news from her maids that people are whispering about the rumor that Prince Leonidas is infertile that she had spread which excited her since Prince Leonidas had really upsetted her, thus she wanted him to pay a humiliating price for the poisoning incident.

“Have you heard the rumors?,” a citizen asked.

“No, what is it?,” another citizen asked.

“2nd Prince Leonidas is infertile and won’t be able to have children which makes him a liability to become the emperor,” The citizen said.

“Really, wow,” The citizen said.

Chatter Chatter……. Whisper Whisper

“My lady,” a maid said.

“What is it?,” Aurora asked.

“There are rumors of Prince Leonidas’s infertility,” the maid said.

“Oh, I see. That’s good then,” Aurora said.

Having heard such good news, Aurora gets dressed in her favorite ocean blue dress and gets her hair done, so she walks out of her bedroom and walks down to the dining room to have breakfast.

“Help me, to get into my favorite ocean blue dress,” Aurora said While getting dressed.

“Yes, my lady,” a maid said.

“There we go,” Aurora said.

“Aaahh…,” both the maid and Aurora said.

“Thank you,” Aurora said

“My pleasure, my lady,” the maid said.

“Well, I'm going down to have breakfast with my family,” Aurora said.

As Aurora has breakfast with her family, Arch-duke Diamant tells everyone that there’s been rumors spreading around the Imperial Capital that Prince Leonidas is infertile and can’t have children which made her brothers laugh hard about it, however Arch-duke suspects that someone did this to humiliate him.

“Everyone, I’m sure you know that there has been rumors spreading in the capital that Prince Leonidas is infertile meaning he can’t have children to become heirs, however I suspect that someone is behind this rumor,”

“Hahahaha……,” Everyone laughed.

“Alright, that’s enough laughing,” Arch-duke Diamant said

Soon after finishing their breakfast meals, Arch-duke Diamant calls Aurora to talk to her about something, therefore she walks with her father to his study room to talk, but as they enter his study room, he asks if she was the one who spread the rumor, and unhesitatingly told him yes to publicly humiliate him for his crime. She told her father that she just wanted to spread the rumors, yet the fact of Prince Leonidas’s infertility was true since she did investigate some of Prince Leonidas’s recent activities. Her father permits her action since he too was angry at what Prince Leonidas did to him, however he also denies her of doing something like again without his permission again.

“Aurora, come with me to my study room,” her father said in a serious voice.

“Alright, father,” Aurora said.

“Let’s go then,” her father said.

Entered Arch-duke’s study room…..

“Alright, Aurora. You did it right?,” her father said.

“Yes, father. But I only did it because I wanted to punish and humiliate Prince Leonidas, so I spread the rumors since the fact of Prince Leonidas’s infertility was true. I did investigate some of Prince Leonidas’s recent activities,” Aurora said.

“Alright, Aurora. I understand why so I let this go, however don’t do this without my permission again,” her father said.

“Yes, father,” Aurora said.

Not long after having eaten breakfast and speaking to her father, Aurora’s 2 brothers and their mother leave ahead of her to return to the manor estate in their family’s domain which allows her to have more free time to deal with a few matters before also going back to the manor estate in their domain as well, so she goes to deal with these matters.

“We’ll be leaving to return to the Manor Estate in our domain. We’ll see you later,” her mother said.

“See you later, father and sister Aurora,” her brothers said.

“Bye, see you later,” Aurora said as she waved goodbye.

“Bye,” her father said.

With the rumors spreading like wild fire all over the empire, it’s not long when Omar frantically rushes and informs Prince Leonidas of the unfortunate development about the rumors of his infertility which really infuriated him, thus throwing another out anger burst causing destruction and chaos in his chambers.

“Prince Leonidas, there are rumors spreading throughout the Imperial Capital that you are infertile and unable to have children as heirs,” Omar said.

“What?! Gggaaahh….,” Prince Leonidas said.

CRASH CRASH…..SNAP SNAP….

“Ha ha ha ha……,” Prince Leonidas said.

Then as Prince Leonidas trashes his room, a servant comes in and informs him that a gathering meeting of all royal siblings has been called for which annoys him since he knew there will be trouble, therefore he tries to calm down and tells Omar to have the servants clean his chambers. He leaves and goes to the gathering of the royal sibling meeting room, yet as he walks to the gathering room, he tries to understand who did it.

“Prince Leonidas, your highness. There has been a royal sibling gathering and meeting to gather and meet at the meeting room for royal siblings,” a servant said.

“Alright, thank you. I need to calm down before going to meet all my siblings,” Prince Leonidas said.

“Who did this to me, I wonder,” Prince Leonidas said as he thought to himself

After having thought about it, Prince Leonidas arrives at the gathering meeting room for all royal siblings in the Imperial family, so as he enters the room he sees all his siblings staring at him like they suspect him. As they begin to talk, the conversation starts with Prince Adalwolf discussing how there’s still a food and water shortage in the empire and also people continuing to get sick from different illnesses, nevertheless Prince Mathias tells him that he’s been working to find a long term solution to this. Unfortunately, its not long after before things gets out of hand when 2nd prince Orla and 4th prince Rayner start talking about the rumors of Prince Leonidas’s infertility which upsets him while yelling at them, therefore causing the other siblings to snicker at him.

“Now that everyone is here. Let’s begin this gathering and meeting of all the royal siblings in the imperial family. Let’s discuss how to resolve the food and water shortages we have, but we also continue to have sick people because of diseases and lack of food resources,” Prince Adalwolf said.

“Brother, I’ve been trying to find a solution and I believe I’m getting close to an answer,” Prince Mathias said.

“Really, then alright. Let me know when and if you get an answer,” Prince Adalwolf said.

“Yes, brother,” Prince Mathias said.

Chatter Chatter…. Whisper Whisper….

“Brother Leonidas, is it true that you can’t have children due your infertility?,” Princess Orla and Prince Rayner asked while giggling.

“What?! Shut up!,” Prince Leonidas said.

“Wow,” all the siblings said as they snickered at him.

Having angered Prince Leonidas, he leaves the meeting room while cussing at them which made Prince Mathias pleased and happy, however 1st Princess Lusine becomes disappointed in her siblings for treating and humiliating their brother like this. As Prince Mathias chuckles a bit, Princess Orla asks her brother what he did and how since she was really curious, yet he tells her that it wasn’t him which confused her, and also tells her that it was his fiance Lady Aurora who spread the rumors about it as a form of punishment and humiliating price for the poison incident.

“I’m leaving now,” Prince Leonidas said.

“Hhhhmmm….” Prince Mathias said.

“Brother Mathias,” Princess Orla shouted.

“What is it, Orla,” Prince Mathias asked.

“What did you do and how?,” Princess Orla asked.

“It wasn’t me who did it,” Prince Mathias said.

“Huh?,” Princess Orla asked as she was confused.

“It was my fiance, Lady Aurora,” Prince Mathias said.

“What?!,” Princess Orla said.

“She did it to punish and humiliate him,” Prince Mathias said.

“Oh, okay,” Princess Orla said.

Soon Prince Mathias returns to his chambers to tell Rion of this interesting development which did amuse them, however they also perceived that this was an opportunity to get the upper hand on him on the project to manage the land of the town and the town itself along with its citizens, and deal with the poisoning incident. They start planning to first deal with the poisoning incident by finding out how Prince Leonidas got the poison and who helped him, so they dig through a lot of things to figure it out.

“Rion, did you hear about the rumors?,” Prince Mathias said.

“No, why?,” Rion said.

“Aurora was the one to spread the rumors and apparently it's true about his infertility,” Prince Mathias said.

“I see,” Rion said.

Meanwhile it's not long after Prince Leonidas’s anger outburst, he is forced to leave the hallway and rethink his plans to claim the throne, thus he calls his attendant Omar for assistance to find another way to get back on track. After all the royal siblings leave the room and returned to their places, Prince Leonidas became even more furious which triggered Prince Adalwolf to start furthering his own plans, and monitor Prince Mathias a little bit more, nevertheless he was pushing forward to make progress.

“I need to rethink my plans to claim the throne, so I’m going to need Omar’s help. Omar,” Prince Leonidas said.

“Yes, your highness,” Omar said.

“We need to revise our plans to claim the throne,” Prince Leonidas said.

“Alright, your highness,” Omar said.

Prince Mathias heads to his father’s study room to talk to him, but then Princess Lusine approaches him and warns him not to get in Prince Leonidas’s way which only made him even more determined to reach his goal while she was only worried about him, therefore he continued to walk to the emperor’s study room. As he approached Emperor Axelle’s study room, the emperor let him in since he wanted to speak to him, thus asking him to permit him to investigate the poisoning incident which he allowed only on the condition that he doesn’t punish Leonidas.

“I need to speak with father,” Prince Mathias said.

“Mathias, I need to speak to you,”

“What is it, Lusine,” Prince Mathias asked.

“Don’t get in Leonidas’s way, you’ll only get hurt or killed,” Princess Lusine said.

“Sorry, sister Lusine but I have no intention of backing out now. Now if you’ll excuse me,” Prince Mathias said.

“I hope you know what you are doing?,” Princess Lusine said.

“Father, may I come?,” Prince Mathias said.

“Yes, you may come in,” Emperor Axelle said.

“Father, please let me investigate the incident?,” Prince Mathias asked.

“Mathias,” his father said.

“This is a serious incident and Lady Aurora is my fiance whose brother got harmed so I need to take responsibility,” Prince Mathias said.

“Alright, ok. My son, go ahead. I’ll permit it,” his father said.

Not long after the rumors had spread, Prince Leonidas finally shuts up for a while to relax and led him to rethink his plans to claim the throne, thus leaving him unable to make a move on anyone.

“This is too much so I’m going to rest and rethink my plans for a while,” Prince Leonidas said as he became frustrated with the rumors.

“Are you sure, your highness?,” Omar asked.

“Omar, let’s take a break and come back with a stronger plan to comeback from this issue,” Prince Leonidas said.

Now that Prince Leonidas postponed and rethought his plans to claim the throne for a while which left Aurora room to further her own agenda along with Prince Mathias, therefore she resumed finishing her medical school and finding the 2 mineral resources.

“Now that Prince Leonidas won’t be able to bother me for a while. I can finally get started with my projects but before that I need to help Prince Mathias with his project,” Aurora said.

“Lady Aurora, would you like some refreshments before going back to work?,” a maid asked.

“No, thank you, but later since Prince Mathias will be arriving soon,” Aurora said.

“Yes, Lady Aurora,” a maid said.

“I need to remember and find where the 2 mineral resources are. Hhhmm…. Let’s see here, on this map of the empire there’s a lot of places that could hide them, so to find them I need to remember where they are. Hhhhmmm….. Oh, I finally remember where they are now; the magic stone mine is in my family’s domain in the Hoyce Valley on Mountain Vipera and the gold mine is on Mountain Jokull,” Aurora said.

Now as Aurora awaits for her fiance Prince Mathias, she begins to thoroughly enjoy what had transpired throughout the Imperial Capital, but she perceived that this time period of peace won’t last long. A maid comes in asking if she would like some tea and snacks before and when Prince Mathias comes, so she agreed to have them.

“Aaahh…., it feels so good since I dealt Prince Leonidas a big blow to his ego,” Aurora said.

“My lady, would you like some refreshments while waiting for his highness and during your meeting with him,” a maid asked.

“Yes, please,” Aurora said.

“I brought the tea and snacks for you, Lady Aurora,” a maid said.

After riding in his carriage, Prince Mathias had arrived at the Diamant Arch-duke Manor Estate, and walks into the manor to see her, thus he comes into the room while greeting her. As they sat down they already began to talk about their next move and plan to get closer to their goals, they perceived that they needed resources and funds to accomplish their goals, therefore Aurora suggests that she could have several days to prepare for your visit in my family’s domain.

“Prince Mathias is here,” a maid said.

“Alright, bring him here,” Aurora said.

“Hello, Prince Mathias,” Aurora said.

“Hello, Aurora,” Prince Mathias said.

“I’ve brought some refreshments for us while we chat about different things,” Aurora said.

“Let’s talk about the matters now. My medical school project is almost complete and once we have the staff members and students I’ll show you the school,” Aurora said.

With their discussion finished, Prince Mathias leaves with Aurora seeing him off as he gets into his carriage, yet he leaves wondering what could she be up to. As he makes his way to the Imperial Palace, he starts to focus on how to fix the economic issue, therefore he tries to think of some solutions.

“Goodbye, Aurora,” Prince Mathias said.

“Goodbye, Prince Mathias,” Aurora said.

“I wonder what Aurora will do to assist me in my projects. I need to find a solution to this economic issue to help the empire prosper,” Prince Mathias said.

As Prince Mathias had arrived back at the Imperial Palace, he headed back to his study room to finish the paperwork that had yet to be finished, thus resuming going back to work in his study room.

“I’m back at the Imperial Palace. I need to finish the paperwork that needs to be reviewed before the end of the week,” Prince Mathias said.

“Rion, get me the remaining documents to review these imperial affairs,” Prince Mathias said.

“Yes, your highness,” Rion said.

“Thank you, Rion,” Prince Mathias said.

Meanwhile 2nd Queen Teigra is infuriated by the news and rumors of her son Prince Leonidas, which she then has a servant and an aide go to the only merchant guild to stop it, hence bribing them to end the rumors and finding out who did it. The servant and aide go to the merchant guild “Titania Guild” on horseback that was recently built in the Imperial Capital, yet as they ride the citizens are still talking about the rumors.

“I can’t believe this my precious son Leonidas is humiliated like this. I need to find out who did this to my son. You two go to the Titania Guild to get information about who did this,” 2nd Queen Teigra said.

“Yes, mam,” a servant said.

“Yes, Queen Teigra,” the aid said.

“Let’s get going to find out who did this and be done with it,” the aid said.

“Yes,” the servant said.

Soon they arrive at the “Titania Merchant Guild” where they ask the employees about the rumors, so the employees tell them that from what they’ve gathered the rumors started with someone from the imperial faction.

“We need information about the rumors about Prince Leonidas spread,” the aid said.

“Yes, please give us a few minutes,” the employee said.

“Hello, I’m the guild master Nigel of the Titania Guild. I see that you need information on how the rumors spread, correct?…,” Nigel said.

“Yes,” the aid said.

“Alright, then. According to our information, all we really know is that it started from the imperial faction from one of the nobles, and that’s basically it,” Nigel said.

“Really?,” the aid said.

“Yes, really it did from there,” Nigel said.

Having gotten the information they needed, they go back to the Imperial Palace to inform 2nd Queen Teigra about what they found out, however by the time they return and inform her about the news that someone from the Imperial faction, Queen Teigra gets upset at the Imperial faction for this crime.

“Let’s get back to the Imperial Palace to notify the queen immediately, right away,” the aid said.

“Queen Teigra, the guild told us that a noble from the imperial faction was behind it from what they could gather. This noble is good at concealing their deeds,” the aid said.

“What?! You will pay for this Imperial faction I swear it. We need to plan a scheme to punish the imperial faction for their crime,” Queen Teigra said.

“Yes, Queen Teigra,” the aid and servant said.

Not long after delivering the news to Queen Teigra, the fake guild master Nigel decides to inform Lady Aurora of this development that Queen Teigra sent people to get information from here, so he writes a message and sends a messenger hawk with his message to her.

“I need to tell Lady Aurora of this development immediately,” Nigel said.

I’ve sent this message to inform you that Queen Teigra sent a few people to find out who humiliated her son and told them that it was someone from the imperial faction. I hope this will assist you in the upcoming battle that you’ll face in the future.

After Aurora had finished her talk with Prince Mathias, she goes back to her room to get dressed to get back to her family Manor Estate in their domain, however its not long when the messenger hawk flies in and gives her the message. She takes the message and reads it while packing up, thus she gets excited that Queen Teigra was upset.

“I need to get ready to leave and return to our family’s manor estate in our domain. Oh, the messenger hawk from Nigel. I wonder what he sent?,” Aurora said.

I’ve sent this message to inform you that Queen Teigra sent a few people to find out who humiliated her son and told them that it was someone from the imperial faction. I hope this will assist you in the upcoming battle that you’ll face in the future.

“Oh, how interesting is this that Queen Teigra requested to find out who did this to her son and only to get false information that it was the imperial faction,” Aurora said.

Having heard the good news about Prince Leonidas and his mother Queen Teigra, Aurora gets excitedly happy for a moment and returns to her normal self to finish packing and returning to their family’s domain, thus finishing her matters as well.

“I’m thrilled that they’re both upset, which makes things both interesting and easier for us to do our things. Anyways, let’s finish packing up,” Aurora said.

“Yes, Lady Aurora,” a maid said.

“Good,” Aurora said.

Aurora and her father leave their manor estate in the Imperial Capital and make their way to their home manor in their domain, thus she looks out the window to relax as they ride back home. Soon after leaving the Imperial Capital, they decide to take a shortcut through the “Great Forest of Ellendora” to get back home quicker, nevertheless they end up meeting with the elves which made them ask for permission to pass through their forest.

“Let’s go, Aurora,” her father said.

“Yes, father,” Aurora said.

“We need to take a shortcut if we want to make it back before it gets dark,” her father said.

“I agree, father,” Aurora said.

As they got permission to pass through their forest, the elf chief asks that they tell no one about their existence, which he agreed to it, therefore they were able to ride through the forest while seeing that they were close to their domain.

“Alright, then you may go,” the elven chief said.

“Father, look elves. There’s elves living in the forest of Ellendora,” Aurora said.

“Stay here, Aurora. We mean no harm, but we need to pass this forest to get to the Diamant Arch-duchy Domain,” her father said.

“Very well, but you must keep this secret of our existence, and not tell anyone,” the elven chief said.

“I promise as well,” Aurora said.

Not long after entering their family’s domain, they finally returned to their family’s Manor Estate in their domain and gotten out of the carriage, yet Aurora had to go to the nearby town of Hyperiton to her guild to check up on something important.

“We’re finally back home,” Aurora said.

“Yes, we’re home,” her father said.

“I need to stop by Hyperiton to check on something, so I’ll be back,” Aurora said.

“Alright, Aurora. Be careful,” her father said.

She arrives in town and rushes over to her guild to check up on Nigel and her merchant guild, so that she could ask Nigel to prepare a magic broach. As she gets to the guild, she sees Nigel working hard at the guild and making good progress, so she raises Nigel’s payment salary for all his hard work and efforts.

“Hello, Nigel. I need you to prepare a magic broach to give to Prince Mathias. I also see that you are making good progress, so I’ll give you a money raise since you’ve been working hard and your efforts are paying off,” Aurora said.

“Thank you, Lady Aurora,” Nigel said.

She realizes that she needs to expand the guild to bring more profits and information, but only be informed that he had already done that for her.

“We need to expand our guild since its became well-known, so let’s do 2nd branch in the Imperial Capital,” Aurora said.

“Oh, Lady Aurora. I already did that since things have been going so well,” Nigel said.

“Oh, alright then,” Aurora said.

Aurora also realized that she remembered the locations of 2 mineral resources that she could use, thus making arrangements with her guild and back at her home.

“I just realized and remembered that I need to find and get the 2 mineral resources to achieve one of my projects, therefore I need the materials and funds to make my projects a reality. Nigel, when I find what I need, so I’ll need you to get some talented individuals to make some magic tools that I’ll design,” Aurora said.

“I see, alright then,” Nigel said.

“Alright, I’ll talk more about it later,” Aurora said.

As late afternoon comes, Aurora also asks Nigel to prepare some essentials for traveling and etc, since she would need to travel to go to Mount Vipera of the Hoyce Valley to find the magic stone mine, and Mount Jokull to find the gold mine, so Nigel gets his people to gather the necessary supplies for her traveling trip since technically its in her family’s domain. While at the same time, Nigel is preparing a magic broach at Aurora's request as a gift for Aurora to give to Prince Mathias, therefore she thanks him for all his help.

“Nigel, I need some supplies and essentials for traveling, and etc, since I’ll need to travel for a bit to certain locations within my family’s domain and in the empire to find somethings,” Aurora said.

“Alright, I’ve started preparing the magic broach for you,” Nigel said.

“Thank you, Nigel,” Aurora said.

Nigel finally gives Aurora the bag of supplies, and leaves the guild to return home while taking-off in her carriage, and after a few hours she has finally reached her family’s domain.

“Here you go, Lady Aurora. I’ve prepared all the supplies and essentials for your travels and you,” Nigel said.

“Thank you, Nigel. Well I need to get back to the manor estate before it gets really late. Goodbye, see you next time,” Aurora said sincerely.

As the late afternoon turns into night, Aurora leaves her carriage, goes into her family’s estate and greets her parents while saying goodnight to them, then as she heads back to her bedroom to rest, her youngest brother Runolf comes into her bedroom to make a request of making something that can help the Onyx knights of the Diamant Arch-duchy to improve their efficiency, so Aurora accepts to help her younger brother Runolf with this issue.

“Hello, Father and mother,” Aurora said.

“Hello, Aurora,” her parents said.

“Good night,” Aurora said.

“Good night,” her parents said.

“Sister Aurora, Can I ask for a favor from you?,” her youngest brother Runolf asked.

“Yes, what is it?,” Aurora asked.

“Could you make something that could help our Onyx knights of the Diamant Arch-duchy to improve their efficiency in battle, please?,” Runolf asked.

“Sure, I’ll try to help them if possible,” Aurora said.

After having talked to her brother, Aurora gets dressed into her nightgown and gets into her bed to sleep for the night, so as she relaxingly drifts to sleep she falls asleep with a full moon glimmering in the starry night sky while sending the maids away.

“Is there anything you need tonight, Lady Aurora,” the maids asked.

“No, I’m tired from everything that happened today, but I still need and have a few matters left to deal with, tomorrow. I’ll rest up and sleep for tonight. Then deal with the matters tomorrow,” Aurora said.

“Alright, then we’ll leave for the evening,” a maid said.
